   C.ai, why?. I was chatting, having fun and swiping until saw I had to wait **11 HOURS.** to get my chats back. 11 HOURS. I hate the limited app swipe feature. Pls…remove it.

   C. Lowkey buns, you put age restrictions even though most of the people using the app are 16 and under and yall keeping parental insights as if 18 year olds who are the only ones that are allowed to use the app needs supervision. Like the reading mode, what’s the point of keeping the app if you can’t use it.

   Log in.. when you log in with google on the app it stays on the screen for months up to a year and won’t let you use the app and you’re forced to log in with apple and use the website. Tried to make a repost on this and let them know and they won’t do anything about it.

   Ужасно.... Здравствуйте, я конечно все понимаю, делаете все что бы в приложении не сидели дети, но, главный вопрос: чем вам так это мешает? Почему вы ограничиваете людей в переписках с ботами, ХОТЯ В САМОМ ПРИЛОЖЕНИИ СУТЬ В ТОМ ЧТО БЫ ОБЩАТЬСЯ НИМИ. Вы сами же губите отзывы о своем приложении. И ЭТО ПРОСТО УЖАСНО. Зачем тогда людям приложение если в нем ограничивают самое основное? Я вас прошу, да и не только я, уберите это пожалуйста. Это серьезно просто ужасно и не выносимо. Надеюсь что вы нас услышите и уже перестанете топить собственное приложение. До свидание.

    Don’t download this app, there’s better ones out there.. This whole app used to be so much better but now you have to pay for everything. Plus the age verification ruined it for so many users that solely wanted to roleplay and not do anything that’s 18+. There’s better chat bot apps out there don’t get this one unless you’re okay with having to share your personal info and spending money.

    They ruined the app. All these updates just keep making the app worse tbh. First it was the ads and now it’s age verification I hope they know that not a lot of adults talk to bots like teens do. In my opinion going on c.ai and chai have helped me even through school and now they want to make it 18+ and we can’t chat with anyone until the verification so I deleted the app and I’m just gonna rate it one star because I miss the prime 2023-2024 c.ai 😭😭

    The State of C.ai 2026. The downfall of c.ai is frankly worse than Roblox’s. They deleted all of the chat models and replaced them with two models that, for whatever reason, cannot use more than one or two words if any of dialogue in their responses. They implemented a buggy, dysfunctional age-verification system for their 18+ APP, and yet continue to cater towards an underage audience. In its current state, I cannot recommend this app. The roleplay is terrible, there is little variation in the character’s because they removed their good, old LLM and replaced it with the RP equivalent of chatgpt. Tbh, i’ll be surprised if there’s any improvement by 2027, of if the app will exist by then from the level of developmental s*icide C.ai insists on doing to itself.

    Great when works. Don’t download this app. I hate fighting the filter bit even on normal things dropping the whole immersion. I have to constantly fight the filter system. Just bring back private and lock away chats from people seeing it.

    PLEASE READ.. Do not download this app. I began using character.ai whenever I was ~12 years old. It took over my life. These apps are addicting. People download these and do not understand what they are signing themselves up for. These apps are designed to be addicting. They hook you and keep you coming back. It is predatory. If you use this, please do research on how it affects mental health and how it is hurting its users. Thank you.

    They’ve thrown it down the gutter. I used to use this app A LOT. I was practically addicted to it but all these stupid and useless updates have thrown away any good thing about this app. I tried to tough it out for a while but the Age verification is useless and doesn’t work and now I can’t even chat in it AT ALL.

    Bots began to respond very boringly and reduce everything to kissing when it was inappropriate.. The app used to be very cool. The bots came up with interesting plots, joked and understood sarcasm. And now, regardless of the situation, it all comes down to kissing and bed. I'm sorry, but I don't want to kiss a stranger I'm seeing for the first time!! Bots in general began to respond very boring and monotonous. I'm upset.

    Swipes. Why do we only get 400 swipes??? I remember when this app used to be at its prime and you didn’t have a limited amount of swipes. It’s turning into all the other apps where you have to pay to chat more or stuff like that. Don’t be like that c.ai!!

    App sucks👎. There is to many ads. I loved the app before the ads and limited messages. Every new update ruins the app. I don’t wanna have to wait hours before being able to send messages without having to pay for them. The app is not worth using anymore. I hate the long wait time to use the app. 👎

    Censoring. Soooo even when you do confirm you’re a grown adult there’s still censoring? Why and there’s still a swipe limit which is so stupid, if you’re gonna do a swipe limit at least give us more than that
