   Capture button now worse. When you go to capture a photo the app now makes you select between snapping a photo and using flora live each and every time which is a bad design and extremely annoying for the user. The less taps it takes to perform basic, repetitive app functions the better.

   Land scap picture. I use my phone for this app and i can only get as far as how to snap a pix. If there is an ok button to advance forward i cannot see it. Very frustrating ! Plz allow landscape view for small iPhones. Thank you

   Constant nags. Wanted to try the app to identify one plant. I got no fewer than six pop up / subscribe / “join our community” nags before I could take one picture to identify one plant, and the ID failed completely.

    They are crooks.. Your company robbed me. I already purchased this and then you made a new app, making the original obsolete. What about all of your original customers, you want us to repurchase something we already own? You’re crooks and I’d like my money back.

    Sweet Potatoes Are Not Trees. Look, I’m a novice but I know sweet potato’s are vines. I still don’t know what the plant is but it’s not a 10ft tall sweet potato. This app gets things REALLY wrong. A LOT.

    Useless commercial. The app is not very responsive, except when it show advertisements, which it does about every other tap.

    No brainer. I downloaded this app & tried it on 2 plants I knew. After 3 tries on the first weed, I gave up. Same Results with 2nd. Wrong both times. Deleted The app.

    Used to be amazing. No longer. This used to be a phenomenal app. Now it’s nothing but “buy me” screens. It’s become so bastardized that it’s impossible to use even the stingy 5 allowable free identifications. This is touted as a “free app”, which it is but only after scrambling to shut down all of the pay screens. Such a shame because it was at one time one of the best plant ID apps. Now it’s one of the worst.

    Wrong every time!!. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not paying for this app, but it is so wrong every time and it’s ridiculously wrong. I can actually take the photo that I took and do a Google images search and usually find out what it actually is. It’s never what this app says it is. What a waste.

    UI is ugly and intrusive, false family sharing advertisement. I got this app to level up my gardening game. My mom is also into gardening, she wanted us access to the premium features so she sent me money to pay for the lifetime premium license. I read that this app supports family sharing at the time of writing this it still shows this. As it turns out though, they do not. My mom now has to pay another $60 for the license when she shouldn’t have to as part of my family sharing group. Although, now that I’ve actually played around with the app a bit, the UX (user experience) (UI - user interface) isn’t user friendly and constantly interrupts your usage to show you how to use it. The aesthetics of the app aren’t visually appealing either. They must’ve paid for their app to get the hype that it has because I’m not impressed at all. I do not recommend, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your plant ID and gardening needs.

    Not worth it. About the only thing you can do with this is identify some plants, that is IF it does it right. I wish I would have saved my money for PlantIn. It keeps track of your garden and makes watering, misting and fertilizing so much easier. I wasted my money on this. I can’t even add my location because when I put my address in, it only gives the option to cancel or delete. Which makes 0 sense. Don’t waste your time or money here.

    Got automatically charged 1 year for no reason. I don’t even have the app installed on my phone, never paid for the membership in the first place and just got randomly charged for a year subscription. Extremely frustrating, you got access to my card somehow and decided to charge me hoping I wouldn’t notice!

    Trash. This app hasn’t identified a single plant I’ve scanned correctly. I tried scanning things that I knew what they were. It said one of my trees was grass. And my pine tree was a bush. It’s in fact not a bush.

    Useless app no support. This app has yet to correctly identify a single plant and I’ve tried dozens. Support is nonexistent. I want my money back. Update 4/13/25 tried emailing support multiple times still with no answer. Tried to identify multiple plants that picture this properly identities and PlantSnap is always wrong. Even on common plants such as dead nettle and cinquefoil. This app is a scam! Beware!

    Terrible Identification. Not sure if they’re using AI from Y2K or what. It identified a literal rainbow cactus (Echinocereus Rigidissimus) as a tropical pitcher plant. It also identified my philodendron white wizard as a golden pothos. Big difference if you understand houseplants. Don’t be surprised with 1 million incorrect answers.

    Bad. I compared this to Blossom which I’ve been using (and another plant ID app), 3x it failed and disagreed with both apps. Not even close. It was guessing and gives different plants when you give it another try
