   Not a free app. Wanted to try it but they want 30/year after your free 7 days expire. But they list themselves as free. Very deceptive. Can’t tell you how well the software works because I deleted it immediately after the real cost showed up.

   Worst ever. First I open it up and you have the stupid loud music …. I’m trying to not scare off the birds why the hell would you have music so dumb second you can’t even identify the sound

   Bad.. Probably one of THE worst app I ever downloaded lol. First, there’s an introduction video that you cannot skip and it seems like it took forever for it to finish. Second I tried it 5 different times and it was wrong every time. If you scroll down on the App Store there’s a free app “Merlin Bird ID” do yourself a favor and get that one. 🥰

   Bird idendentifier. I was thinking of using this ad because it said price free. And I logged onto it and it said trial so that means it’s not totally free. We should say that from the beginning before I waste my time going through all of this. Thank you very much for sharing. If you’re going to say it’s free make sure it’s free and not just for a free trial thank you very much.

    everything is an owl. every bird identifies as an owl, when it is obviously not.

    Picture Bird on a Mac. Picture Bird fails on a Mac. You first copy the bird to be identified into your Photos app. Then in Picture Bird choose photo identification. The failure is you cannot select the bird from the photos app using the mouse. FAIL

    No free trial. Before loading the app it was a 7 day free trial. Next day was billed for the most expensive subscription for a year. I had no chance to evaluate. Deceptive and not worth my time or money.

    Totally confusing. I launched the app and was confronted with very confusing animations. All I wanted to do was to identify the sounds of the birds. And the a price list popped up up with outrageous subscription prices. Not worth it for an app I may use a few times a year. So I deleted it. Cannot say how well it works but even if it works well, it’s not worth it. Sorry.

    Don’t bother. I got this to identify my chicks. It identified the first one as a pheasant. I tried again. It again incorrectly guessed. It’s a yellow and brown chick. The second guess it gave me was a black silkie. It’s definitely not a black silkie. I gave up and canceled my free trial.

    Beware- $40 a year app. Didn’t see how much this app was and it has a 7 day free trial then get hit with $39.99 a year. Wish it was more up front about the cost. Now I’m stuck with an app I won’t use much.

    Junk!. Inaccurate. I have 5 different birds and it couldn’t identify any of them accurately
