   Scammy. This app used to let you scan plants for free and the *other* features were part of the paid subscription. This app is unusable now because it forces you to choose a subscription when you try to upload a plant photo. Totally useless now. And no- I don’t want to do a measly 3 day free trial nor pay for a subscription when the features I once enjoyed now cost a fee. Goodbye!

   Very greedy. The app used to be great mow it doesn’t let me identify any plant ask for money first. And also no longer show any app photos for plants from collections.

   App is no longer free to use.. I attempted to use the app today, only to realize there was no way to exit the subscription prompt anymore! Very disappointing, I had used this app since it was named NatureID, and I used to love it. A shame that paywalls are on everything nowadays.

   Canceled for a reason in January.. I canceled my platinum subscription and it finally expired in January yet some how I am still getting charged $6.99 twice per week. This app was a pain to deal with when I downloaded it now it’s costing me time and money.

   Used To Love - Doesn’t Work Now. This app was great and easy to use and now it just keeps pulling up the subscribe page every time I do anything. Terrible experience making the app unusable now.

    Only works if you pay for subscription…. This app has completely stopped supporting the free version and no forces you into an endless cycle of making you sign up for either the monthly or yearly membership. Super disappointing because I used to love using this app to identify plants or check how they’re doing. If you’re not interested in paying the $20 a year or $6 a month, then there is literally not a single feature you can use on this app. I would rather they just make you pay for it up front but they hide this fact under the guise of it being free. I would give it a 0 star rating if I could.

    No Longer Free. Hit cancel hidden top right. Now it cycles over and over pop ups to buy. Hit cancel. Pops right back up deletes your photo. Hit cancel. Take photo. Pops up deletes photo. Will not let you use the app without paying a membership. The app says free plant ID.

    Worked great but no longer free. Used to enjoy this app as my go to identification app but it no longer lets me identify without using premium.

    Terrible app. My Son bought a lifetime subscription for me for Mother’s Day. And as soon as the year was up, they did away with my subscription and are now trying to charge me to even use the app.

    No longer free :( NO ID POSSIBLE W/O SUBSCRIPTION. App used to be free with the option to have a premium version. Sadly it’s been updated and you have to pay for premium to use at all. I used this app for ages to ID plants in my yard and sadly that is no longer possible

    Not working without subscription. This app just randomly quit working. It will not identify plants. It just keeps demanding I pay a subscription. Was good while it worked. Deleted. (Tried deleting & reinstalling.)

    No Longer Recommending this App. I have been using it for a while now, and it was above average compared to some other apps. Sadly, they removed the free version without notice. I can understand the need to ensure revenue, but their utter lack of communication feels underhanded.

    Subscription bait. It would be nice if apps like this would reveal the in app purchase is the entire app and their only goal is to bait you into a subscription $30 a year in this case. Thanks for wasting my time, hard pass.

    Different Pricing. I downloaded this app because my husband had it and he is only being charged $10 a year. When I downloaded it, it wanted to charge me $30 a year and it will not restore a family purchase. BOOOOOOO to this app!

    Liars. It says nothing about paying $50 when you instal it. Then after 2 plants they keep harassing you for buying a plan or they wont allow you to identify a 3rd plant. Removing them.

    Subscription model is a scam. Automatically enrolls you in weekly subscription fee with no ability to cancel without going through emails back and forth. Had to cancel a card to get the fees to stop.
