   Useless. If you don’t auto track trips then what even is the point. I have permissions set to connect to car Bluetooth and to track gps and it still fails to track trips randomly. I need to see a near 0% fail rate or it is just pointless to use

   Still getting billed - vague cancellation language. The app was decent and drained the iPhone battery to the point it wasn’t worth it. Naturally, I plugged it in every time I got in the truck so the tracking was activated. It would keep running in the background continuously. Probably good for some, more of a nuisance for me. The worst part is getting billed again and I deleted it over five months ago. I re-downloaded the app today, tried to login and it doesn’t recognize my username and password. It has vague language - “ if you would like to cancel this schedule, you may do so by sending written notice to the address indicated on the authorization form you signed or approved via the web.” What form? That unreadable microtype page that popped up on the app occasionally? Anyway, it was too much of a hassle for me. I hope it works for someone else.

   Not easy to send the report to email.. I've been using this app for 5 years now for my taxes. Super easy to use to send to my accountant and to my email for the year-end tax report. However, lately, they don't let you send the whole year's report, instead, month by month. Kinda hassle to keep going back month to month record.

   Cancellation of trial account requires contacting support. Started trial. Played with it for one day. Tried to cancel. Apparently need to contact support by email or chat. Chat unresponsive. Email is a one way street and I don’t trust it. I should be able to cancel in iCloud subscription without fuss. Shady.

   Beacon is trash, waste of time and money.. If you buy and plug in the beacon to your car thinking it will improve the accuracy of your drives and catch all the mileage driven, think again. The way it works is the phone and beacon are supposed to recognize each other then it will record the drive. Having to plug it into my car I thought it would just record automatically. What if I didn’t bring my phone, someone else is using the car? The odometer that you manually set up gets out of wack. Sometimes I’ll check my drives for the week and see that it records a drive to a destination but not back home. If you get mileage reimbursement from a job this is not reliable enough. I would often have to go into my Google Maps and go through the timeline to tally up miles and time driving to fill in blanks that this app doesn’t catch. I Drive a Tesla, I figured the plugging in a usb it would just take the information from the car and record it. I ended up having to download another different app (Tessie) and paying for it’s subscription too.

   No Support- subscription Issues. I tried the 7 day trial. Worked perfectly for what I need. I then bought the annual subscription. I expected the app to update with my subscription. It did not. The account profile says my purchase was successful. I contacted TripLog through their website and scheduled 3 calls for support. No one came to all three scheduled calls. No emails. I have now sent 3 emails asking for assistance. No answers to those. Great app, but horrible service. I moved my entire mileage tracking process to TripLog and am now stuck woth basic functions.

   They just couldn’t leave it alone.. Used to work great but their latest release seems to think all you want to do is know what it’s up to.

    Lost all trip info. I lost all my trip info when I updated the app. Went to the website and there was no history. Now I’m in trouble and will be suing triplog. They are liable. I filed a complaint with the NYS Attorney general’s Office.

    Great app TripLog. Wonderful app automatically start tracking when it detects movement in vehicles. Don’t have to get opening the app

    Rip Off. Don’t Subscribe. I’ve been paying a monthly fee and found out it is now September 2025 and they stopped logging my trips in June. Do not subscribe to this app. Total rip off.

    Tedious at best.. Required to use this by my employer and it’s incredibly frustrating. Ended up using their webpage version because the app version is so terrible. Wouldn’t use it at all if I didn’t have to.

    The free trial is not free. I got charged for the monthly fee, only two weeks apart. I have gone back-and-forth. With these people to try to explain to them why that is ridiculous. The app is decent. But I’m not willing to commit to a company that can’t even get billing right.

    Necessary but don’t love. It’s just so glitchy, and deeply annoying. Says that it tracks work hours but doesn’t. Unpredictable as to how and why it starts trips.

    Unreliable tracking. I tried contacting support, but even sending logs from the app failed. To send logs, you have to change the odometer to 00000, which is supposed to email them to support. Nothing. Such a pain. I thought my beacon died, so I bought a new one. Nope. It tracks a few trips, then doesn't recognize the beacon until I kill and restart the app. I gave up on the beacon and switched to Bluetooth which records maybe 7 out of 10 trips. I end up adding hundreds of miles manually because it randomly misses trips. It worked great until the update in the fall of 2025. Now it's worthless for automatically logging trips.

    Stopped Tracking…. The app stopped tracking for two weeks! How does that even happen? It is set to plug and play…. Now I have to always pay attention that the app is actually tracking my mileage….

    Convenient but inaccurate (so far). I get a business mileage reimbursement so accuracy is important to me. I’ve used the costly GPS device for 2 days while simultaneously using my trip odometer. It is failing to capture large portions of my trip thus not reporting, so far, about 50 miles. That costs me money. If performance doesn’t improve in a week or two, I will be returning and cancelling my subscription.

    Great App - inconsistent USB Bluetooth interface. Would totally rate the App 5 Stars for user interface, edit flexibility, and reporting capabilities. The 3 Star overall I because of the inconsistent trip auto-start feature that is supposed to engage with the USB Bluetooth chip (add-on purchase) that’s plugged in your vehicle’s USB port. This past year I lost 24% of mileage due to Bluetooth auto start communication failure. I definitely recommend the app, but don’t rely on the auto start feature to “auto start” every trip.

    Needing to track miles?. I have been using TripLog for years and it never fails. I use it in the manual mode because I don’t need to use app daily. As a landlord this app suits my needs. It difficult to pull a year end report for mileage

    Updates remove logging. This is the second time an update has required me to re-login and all the settings have to be reset so it will start logging trips again This time I have lost two months of trips and honestly, it would be so much better if the updates would not interfere with login capabilities

    Turns off. I have had multiple times the app stops my trip at a destination and then does not start again. I have had to manually entire trips and stops. I have gotten to where I don’t trust it anymore and at the end of the day end up having to go through each stop to make sure they are all there.

    Odometer entry doesn’t work. I have set the odometer for my car numerous times and it keeps resetting itself back to zero. I was happy to find this app but this is making it not usable. I emailed support so I’m hoping they’ll fix this and I can raise my rating.
