   👎👎. I’m sure the app works well, i’m just wanting to be healthy and not have to pay for it lol. We already have to pay for so many subscriptions, an app helping you eat healthy definitely should not be something you have to pay for. Deleted the app immediately.

   Embellished scores. I’m not sure I can trust a good scanner that scores hot dogs as 100/100 or nutrition bars with brown rice syrup at 90+.

   Making me subscribe. Every time I open the app it just shows that Olive is showing a full-screen paywall stating “we miss you, here’s 80% off” with no visible X, Skip, or Not now button. That usually isn’t intended behavior.

   Waste of time. This took forever to fill out and get through and there is no free advertised version it’s all pay, no way to just do what it’s advertised as a “food scanner” I haven’t given any company a review before on anything, but this was so annoying and irritating I had to say something for anyone who was misled from Their advertisements from social media etc.

   Slow and Buggy. Feels that I got scammed. After I did a free trial, they charge me a full year of subscription even though I was just one day late and cancelled immediately. After I paid, the app became super slow and took almost one day to open the app to scan. I don’t recommend it at all. Try something else.

   Can’t even try it without submitting payment information. Don’t bother downloading unless you’re prepared to submit cc information. Otherwise you’ll spend 5 minutes “personalizing” your experience just to hit a paywall

    Expect to not use app for the first 10 minutes. They ask you hundreds of questions before you’re able to use the app. Don’t expect to use the scanner right off the bat. Expect to devote almost 15-20 minutes before you’re able to use it

    annoying. i just wanted to check one item on this app and had to go through like 10 minutes of set up and had to sign up for a free trial. super annoying. you shouldn’t have to go through 30 individual screens just to find out if you even want to use the app, then be forced to sign up for a subscription to even be able to use the app at all. waste of my time.

    It’s like joining a cult. Drags you through a long, long process before they try to get you to sign up for a monthly membership. Hold the button down to commit? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? Yuka is 10,000 fold better.

    Not happening. i like the look and idea of this app, i didn’t spend 5 minutes on it, it will try and make you put in your payment information or else you won’t be able to use this, i’m sure you guys can do better, i dont care how long your free trial is i will not be giving you money so I can have assistance on what im buying. i’ll just use google thanks!

    The setup process of this app SUCKS. The set up process of this app is literally insanity inducing. First off, it runs you through a series of useless prompts and testimonials from customers. Then, it FORCES you to “scan things in your pantry at home” before you can even use the search function… so if you’re setting up the app from somewhere else, it won’t let you search or scan anything. All I was trying to do was scan my breakfast while at work, and instead I just deleted the app and cancelled the subscription.

    Scam. Just use the Yuka app. It’s free and doesn’t give you the run around just to end up asking for payment. smh. I knew it was something g you had to pay for when it kept asking me a bunch of questions.

    Super long onboarding then paywall. I was excited to try that that after I heard a lot of good things about how it’s less biased than other apps however, once I downloaded it, there was a super long onboarding process, asking me tons of questions. I was getting frustrated by the amount of questions and then when I finally reached the end, they try to get me to sign up for a free trial that lasts only seven days and then it’s $50 a year

    Not free. Requires credit card for seven day trial. False advertising because of all of the ads I’ve seen it does not mention it’s a paid app. I will be deleting this app.

    App crashes after subscription but before I can use the account. Repeatable on multiple phones. Installed the app, went through all their marketing screenings, signed up for subscription, when attempted to create username and password, the app just crashes as shows a red screen with a bunch of text. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, using a different iPhone, exactly same result. This is not usable and they already charged me for the subscription. This is garbage.

    Glitchy if not just a scam.. Went through the questionnaire and even went for the 2 dollar 30 day trial subscription. Only to get an error every time I tried to create an account on the last step. Can’t even trial run with the subscription it prompted me to buy first. :(

    Can’t even sign up. After trying to sign up multiple times there’s a giant error message that pops up in red with a bunch of lines of code error. No idea what’s going on. Clearly a sign up bug on the app I can’t get around so I deleted it.

    Scam. When I downloaded the app, I wasn’t thinking much of it. So I created an account… answered everything the app asked me and all of that… and then after that came the part where I have to pay some subscription before I could even try it. And when I said no, it said that “I would never get an offer like that again” and “It’s on us” type garbage. scam. Forcing me to buy in to their stupid free trial none scene I wanted to see if your app was legit. Not to throw away money to try it. Garbage app don’t install and definitely don’t give them your money.
