   Total garbage. Will not connect my TREK Allant+ 8s. Trek dealer said to use the Bosch app. that will not connect either. What losers are writing software for this company? I paid a lot of money for this bike!

   I just want to set the clock on my new bike. Horrible app. Have to make an account. They’ve never heard of people with single-letter last names. Why do you need my height and weight with no way to skip? Why do insist on location permissions? I JUST WANT TO SET THE CLOCK ON MY NEW BIKE.

   Okay except…. Works fine except it doesn’t stay connected. Also, if you pause it won’t reconnect. Frustrating… Easier to just use the Hyena Rider Assist app.

   App stuck in loop. Every time the app launches it immediately jumps into “searching for bike connectivity,” then loops back when I try to cancel it. Trek’s hardware is rock-solid, but—as has been the pattern over the years—the software side is still glitchy. I’ve never been able to get it to work reliably with e-bikes, lights, or anything else. Maybe give it another year of development.

   Terrible Account Creation. When creating a new account, they block keychain access, provide no way to manage passwords, and block lasting a password into the password field. Its like they went out of their way to make it hard.

   Won’t Pair. Won’t pair with FX+1S, told by mothership to take it back to the dealer, but the dealer swapped it out and it still didn’t work. I haven’t heard back.

    Buggy and stops mid ride. I have the townie go! 7D step over. I had the bike for quite some time before I even realized there was an app. I liked that app once I started using it, however, it has a major flaw. It randomly disconnects mid-ride, and that causes your electric motor to shut down. I've reached out with multiple emails to Trek, but no support so far. It also doesn't return to the information for the ride up to that point, which means that you will see something like 15 minutes of a two hour ride. Extremely frustrating.

    App Crashes. Never been able to use the app. Crashes when trying to connect to my fx2+ bike. My dealer had the same issue. Reached out to Trek support and got no response. Looks like a helpful app if it just worked.

    Can’t Connect to Bike. I have a brand new trek fetch 2 but this app cannot find my bike to connect to it. I was able to connect to the flow app from Bosch so I know the bike isn’t the issue.

    Do not download. I bought a Trek Rail 9.8, this app will not connect to my bike. Tried multiple ways, nothing. And for some strange reason, after almost two years in business and they still don’t have a support page! Wast of time!

    Trek app doesn't stay connected. Don't rely on the trek app as your primary source for riding. I've had trouble with it staying connected on all of my rides tried to remove the app, forget my device but still not working.

    Login screen design fail. If you are being safe and using an app to store long, unique and complex passwords for your various accounts, this app is useless. The password field does not allow pasting. So to use the app, you are going to need to type that long password character-by-character. No thanks. I’ll pass.

    Crashes constantly!. Lately the app crashes in the middle of a ride almost every time and the only thing that works is for me to completely reboot my iPhone. Since the only way to see exactly how much battery power is left and what the remaining range of distance is, this is supremely frustrating. In addition, all my rides are labeled as being in the wrong city, even though all my location settings are correct (and the map of the ride is correct). I reported this issue several months ago and never got any response from the developer.

    App doesn’t work. If I could give zero stars, I would. How do I contact someone to get help with it? I enter my user id and password and it gets an error every time. I even changed my password. Also tried deleting the app and reinstalling.

    Stupid app. This app is stupid. You have to have a e bike just to use it. God forbid you don’t have a e bike, then you can’t use it. There is no way to skip the Bluetooth phone and bike pairing. Stupid app. Typical engineers overthinking everything and throwing simplicity out the window

    App does not connect. App will not connect to my brand new Powerfly 4. I’ve rebooted phone, bike computer, deleted, and reinstalled app, turned wifi on and off, plus Bluetooth. I wish developers would put out a finished product so we don’t have to do the R and D…

    Useless. Won’t connect to Domane+ AL5 even though it should. Bike shows up but when it tries to connect the LED on the bike turn blue and blink but I get an error - ‘ Something went wrong. bike type not found’ Trek Central site specifically says this model is supported. Fortunately the Hyena HRA app works!

    Won’t even connect. Wow so much promise but no delivery. I picked up my bike today with much excitement, the store guy recommended I get the app and have a play around with settings. So here I am at home hoping to tweak things a little, but can’t connect, despite the trek control app being able to see my bike. Every time - connection failure. I have tried restarting the bike. Deleting an re-downloaded the app, even praying to the e-bike gods …….. nothing. Fortunately the TQ e-bike app works, though with only the basic motor tuning features and display customisation.

    Basic app that does it's one job poorly. This app is a pretty basic activity tracker but it doesn't even do that well. The "pause ride" doesn't work. When you go to resume your ride the app has lost connection to the bike and you have to reboot the app to reconnect, which either saves or discards the previous portion of your ride. Don't bother with this app, just use Strava!

    Sufficient, but not great. App works well for basic functionality with the bike. You can tune the motor, you can configure the sensors, you can track rides. However, integration with the Apple ecosystem is very poor. Can’t use the Apple Watch to track heart rate. Can’t export any activities to Apple health. This means you have to use multiple apps for any health tracking, which is doubly unfortunate because the Trek Central app has all of the motor vs human data, so can provide a much more accurate picture than e.g. Strava or Wahoo. I hope they rectify this in a future version, and I will update my review if they do.

    Limited compatibility. In this digital day and age I’m a little underwhelmed by the fact that this app is incompatible with an Apple Watch. So it can’t be used for e-bike management purposes, and I can’t pair it as a heart rate monitor. I also had to waste time searching for the right app to download for my e-bike. You’d think they’d at least include a QR code in the Quick Start guide. We’re not off to a great start technologically speaking. Thank goodness I didn’t go for one of the high-end e-bikes or I’d be really irritated and return it on principle. But at $2k I guess this is all I should expect.

    Terrible support page - app is like a beta release. The support page is horrible. And the tutorials inside the app just gloss over stuff at a super high level. The FAQs say I should be able to “seamlessly”download to Strava, but when I try to I get a cryptic error message. There is no obvious way to connect to Strava from Trek Central. What the heck!
