Really bad and useless app. You cannot watch unboxing or assembly/ setup videos before you receive bike, so you can be prepared, because it requires a QR code you don’t have. That is the only point of this app! All it is without those videos is just marketing other Canyon products. I received the box today and there is only one QR code on the box and that just sends you to App Store to get the app, which is useless. I googled it and the required QR code is on the bottom bracket. So you have to unbox and pull the bike all the way out to get the video to learn how to properly unbox the box! I found the video online without the app and you don’t fully remove the bike from the box until after some assembly (box serves as a temporary stand). So the concept of this app is completely broken from the get go. People giving this app high marks are shills or lying.

Stupid unhelpful app just tries to sell you stuff. When you’re trying to put your bike together and they keep telling you that there’s simple assembly guides in the app, but then you go to the app and there’s absolutely no assembly instructions whatsoever. Just a bunch of places to try to get you to buy more bikes and accessories. Over-promise, under-deliver.

App crashes more than I do. Multiple times the app has crashed while I had the security feature active and away from the bike. We could have our bikes stolen/tampered and have no idea. Plus, your American store selection stinks. Especially upsetting bc you gave many of us vouchers for our ebattery exchange debacle. $300 w/ about 10% of the selection the EU store offers. How do you respond to these accusations?

Don’t waste your time. The company has some serious issues. I purchased a bike and it arrived with a defective rear derailleur mount. They couldn’t just ship me a replacement. I had to completely return the bike, and deal with a refund to then have to place a new order for the same bike. Terrible experience all around.

Enjoying Canyon. nah…. bike bosch motor clicks and lights flash off/on during charge cycle or when powering on. There is little to no online support. No manual of what happens if you get such error symptoms. Can’t login to online account because password reset process just loops. When you do get the link to change password the new password simply does not work. Reading several comments that people wished they bought anything else through LBS.

Bikes and orders missing…..again. According to Canyon they had a system change a few months ago that has deleted all previous bikes in the bike garage in addition to the older prior accessory orders. The Canyon CSR has stated their IT group are unable to restore any information so the customer has to add the bikes on their own…..again. However the app is not currently allowing any bikes to be added to the garage. They should have made their customers aware of this problem rather than having them discover it on their own. Poor customer service. This needs to be fixed immediately.

The app didn’t work at all for me. Unfortunately when I load the app it let’s me login and then the app just flashes on and off constantly and won’t allow me to enter my bike information. After deleting and reloading the app as well as rebooting my phone the issue remained so I finally got fed up and deleted it for good. Hopefully they get it resolved so I can use it.

Add a bike doesn’t work. Have tried to add my Grail:ON by scanning the QR code and manually entering my serial number. App says bike added successfully but nothing shows up in the garage.

I spent $5.5K on a bike with GPS tracking but the app does not work. I have read that there are ongoing issues with the app and as such this feature is now not available and there is no fix date in sight… I will wait another week or so and then I’m going to report to CA Dept of Consumer Affairs and seek remedy from Canyon. They are still selling with ‘GPS Tracking’ as a feature…

Not working at all and customer support is not in English. So excited to try out the app but even though it said success at connecting to my Spectral On the bike finder says it can’t be located due to connection. I can’t see the bike on my blue tooth on my phone so not sure what’s up.

Doesn’t Measure Up. Downloaded the app, signed and nothing. The two options (Discover and My Garage) aren’t accessible. Both get an error message to try again. After multiple tries, delete the app. Thankful the bike quality is better than this app.

App stopped working. I got my Endurance road bike recently. There was no indication with the manual or on the box that you could download the app as it had complete and detailed assembly instructions. Since I have lots of experience with bikes I went ahead and put it together. I found out about the app when I was almost finished putting it together. Once I downloaded loaded the app and added the serial number then the assembly instructions came up. Later the app stopped working. I deleted it and reinstalled. Now I can’t get anything because it says my model is not supported. Please fix this asap.

App isn’t working. Was the excited to download the app, but disappointed that very little in the app is working. I am getting error messages when trying to access the different features. I figure the bugs will be worked out. Canyon is great, like my Grail! Look forward to the app getting fixed!

Don’t use UPS. I have been waiting two weeks for my bike and how you use UPS is beyond me. I am constantly lied to by UPS as they have told me for 3 consecutive days that the bike is coming but it has not turned up

Useless. It’s been years and this app still doesn’t support many serial numbers. My 2022 Aeroad CF SLX manufactured in the US and, even though it’s only 1 year old, Canyon doesn’t care about supporting its serial number. Thus, the app is useless.

Problems with app. App not reliable with lock. Beeps when not moved; no beeps when moved. And now the app has reset itself, forgotten my bike, will not reconnect to my bike, but the lock is still on and I can’t turn it off … so beeps every time I use my bike. Rubbish!

App not connecting with Spectral ON. As with previous reviewer , new Spectral ON will not connect with Canyon app. Tried all troubleshooting suggestions but nothing works. Disappointing!!!

The app doesn’t connect to the e-bike. Just brought an brand new spectral cf e-bike and was hoping to connect to the gps and security alerts on my phone, but no matter what I do the app won’t connect. This feature was a key selling point for me over other bikes with similar specs. This bike is great it’s just a disappointment the I can’t use all the features that the bike apparently has to offer, which made me make the purchase over another bike.

Unable to connect. I got a 2023 Spectral:On CF8 with GPS (amazing bike not so amazing app) The app completely fails to connect to the GPS unit on the bike no matter what I do. Speaking to support there is a bug with the app? Disappointing as I think it’d be a useful feature.
