   Disappointed by the political content. Why are politics being discussed on a religious app? It’s pretty clear that there’s a political bias and that’s a major turn off for me. I use this app for spiritual growth and encouragement and not political commentary. it’s disappointing to see content that was one focused on faith, becoming inundated with politics.

   Downright Predatory Billing. I signed up for the trial and within an hour or so decided I did not want to use the service. So I cancelled. I read the low reviews for this service. Lo and behold today I was charged the $14 activation fee (this alone should have been a red flag), and $20 for the subscription. Upon managing the subscription, when I login, it says I do not have an active subscription.

   Just pray DON’T use this app!. Never subscribed to anything or even did anything that involved payment, yet I still got charged $14.99 for an unauthorized donation! And $19.99 for a subscription that I do not have! I have reached out in every way I can and even sent screenshots to show I never subscribed to anything or authorized a donation for ad free. I got ads the whole time I’ve had the app!! I love my father but I can praise him and read the Bible on my own.

   Very hard to cancel. App doesn’t open often and very hard to cancel. Phone numbers do not work and customer service will not respond. Had to stop payment through my bank.

   Making money on helping people meet Jesus. I was kinda excited when I seen this app and how the questions truly seemed to care about me and Jesus and then at the end there is a charge. Pretty sad what the world is coming to that you need to pay or you need to charge someone to spread his gospel. You should be able to receive his message and Jesus for free.

   Deceptive. I downloaded prayer and got caught in the auto subscription. Which I agree I should have read the fine print. With that being said I went to the site and cancelled the subscription and then deleted the app. Here I am 3 months later still trapped and being charged monthly.

   Buyer beware! Don’t download!. I downloaded this app and a week or so later was charged 14.99 AND 19.99 on the same day! Neither comes up as a subscription to cancel on the App Store because this app calls the 19.99 charge an “annual donation.” The donation I had to cancel inside the app. I can’t figure out how to get my money back on that and I also can’t see anywhere where the $14.99 can be refunded or even how it’s classified because it’s not showing up either I feel like this app is definitely a scam. I’m really upset about this. I’m on vacation right now and don’t really need any extra money coming out of my account at the moment especially Money that I was not expecting and I don’t know why I was charged two times on one day.

   Pray review. I tried the (free) 7 day trial. I found that I wasn’t using it and tried to cancel. The app said I didn’t have an account. When I go to my subscriptions, it said no subscription. I was charged $14.99 for the app. Also, I gave a $19.99 donation. This automatically came out, without my knowledge. Don’t download this app.

    No integrity or honor. I am highly spiritual, and I enjoy some of the content on here unfortunately, it is so highly commercialized, trying to extract as much as humanly possible he can’t listen to a single thing, anymore, without some commercial agenda, being inserted to override the content. Or shame! It takes highly conscious individuals to be conscientious, especially of the responsibility in spirituality.

    Faith App or Political Platform?. I initially enjoyed using this app and found it helpful. However, over time I noticed an increasing amount of Charlie Kirk political content and promotions that I wasn’t interested in seeing. I was looking for a prayer and faith-focused experience, not political commentary. Because of that, I’ve decided to stop using the app. I hope the developers consider keeping the content centered on spirituality and prayer for users seeking that experience.

    Literal scam. Said I had no subscription but was charged $10. Was also charged for a “recurring donation” of $15 when I never set that up. It was very difficult to contact anyone and I still haven’t gotten refunded. I sensed it was a scam right away when I couldn’t figure out where my subscription status was. Very frustrating experience.

    Do not use. It’s impossible to cancel the trial there are no options to cancel and it doesn’t appear in subscriptions to cancel there’s no live agent to speak to. It’s crazy when people already need help they still try to find a way to charge u $70 absolutely not

    Sneaky sneaky. Alright so this company thought it was OK to sign me up for recurring donations. I had no subscription through Apple or through them so I could not figure out how $5.99 was coming out of my account weekly. So i found on the internet some complaints about Pray.com I went into MY donations and found that I was giving donations I had NEVER signed up for. This is wrong. Stealing is wrong. This is not a company founded on Christian principles.

    Not For Me. The app itself is polished and visually impressive, but the subscription system feels unnecessarily confusing. Signing up is seamless, but managing or canceling subscriptions is buried behind unclear menus and fragmented account systems. I ended up with both a monthly and yearly recurring charge and had a very difficult time even locating where to cancel them. For a spiritually focused app, the lack of transparency around subscriptions and billing management seriously undermined my trust in the platform. Beyond that, the app felt far more focused on pushing an endless stream of featured audio content and personalities than actually helping cultivate a quiet, intentional prayer life. Every time I opened the app, something immediately started playing, and the overall experience felt more like a content streaming platform than a tool for reflection, prayer, or spiritual grounding.

    Disappointed, Deleted Immediately. I downloaded the app after seeing an IG ad. I have been trying to grow my relationship with God and thought this would be a great app. There was a brief survey at the beginning to “tailor your experience” which was nice, not too long. A few of the questions ask if you would want an ad-free experience, in which I chose maybe, and was immediately directed to a page offering a 7-day free trial or a monthly or annual subscription. Before I read the fine print I would have done the free-trial, but it said they charge a $10 activation fee after the trial plus the $15 monthly subscription. I tried to bypass the free trial by hitting the “X” only to be directed to pay for a “limited time offer” of a week ad-free for $6. After patiently waiting the minute (typical ad length), I hit the faint“X” again only to be directed to another “limited time offer” to pay $6 per month instead of $14. This page also had a note of payment being so the creator could do whatever and no way to click off of it so I decided to delete the app. I was looking forward to trying a new app to grow closer to God but don’t like feeling forced into a subscription before even trying the product. Yes, there was a “free-trial” but the activation fee is a third of the actual monthly subscription so is it really free ?

    Cost Is Too Much. When I first started using this app, it was only $7.99 or $9.99 to go ad free. I loved how inexpensive it was to access everything and have no ad’s. It really helped me put into words things I couldn’t say. Sometimes it felt like the prayer for the day was God’s way of speaking directly to me. But when I wake up to listen to the morning devotion or the lay down to sleep and listen to the nightly devotion of the day, there’s an ad in between. And that’s not relaxing. It’s interrupting my prayers. Now it’s wanting to charge $29.99 per month or $299.99 per year for ad free listening. And for being such a God centered app, I don’t think that what God would do. He knows not every is fortunate to pay for that. Especially students in college like me. So I’ll be finding another app or avenue for ad free listening experiences for prayer. I’m so disappointed.

    Startling Ads :(. I started out loving this app- especially for the nighttime prayer and meditation. But recently, the ads that follow are downright jolting and completely undo the relaxation the meditation brought. I’m startled by things like the blowing horns - DIRECTLY after the meditation finished. Smh. I imagine there’s another app out here that provides guided, prayerful meditation to bring me peace and closer to God before I fall asleep- even if its a YouTube video or a podcast-bc this one just wakes me up now and makes it harder to go to sleep. Disappointing 😔

    REPEATED CHARGES. Do NOT sign up for the free trial of this app! I canceled long before the trial was up and they continually try to charge me $50 every couple days. I had to empty my Apple Cash account to avoid them taking. It never ends!

    Advertisements Everywhere. I really wanted to like this app. Any source of truth to grow the Christian community is important. Unfortunately, there are advertisements everywhere: Multiple pop ups when logging in, ads when trying to use the app, ads at the beginning and end of everything you listen to. It’s incredibly distracting and really destroys the user experience. the auto play at the beginning is also extremely frustrating and annoying, and hard to figure out how to stop. This app has so much good content, but the user experience is so bad that I can’t continue with it.

    Needs to be more about God and less about politics.. I started doing bible in a year and was enjoying it. But now I am noticing features about billionaires and men who talk about hate and division.

    Pray.com. I missed a day and lost my streak so I decided to try a free 7 day trial to regain my streak without ads. I was charged before the trial ended. Which was ok. Since I decided to keep the subscription. I started getting ads and support was helpful and was able to remove the ads. This app is great but I’m getting annoying mood disrupting ads again. The dailies are great and I really get into the stories and then BOOM an ad. The ap deserves 5 stars once ads are removed.

    Commercials. I totally loved this app. We already pay monthly for the app, all I want is the word . In order to listen to only the word I am required to provide more money, or listen to advertisements . So disappointing.
