   Eye sore. Unfortunately I lost track of this app and finally rediscovered it.. only for it to be overly saturated and harsh looking. It seems almost like not good ai. I miss the old style. Disappointed to say the least. As someone who wants to step away from the instant gratification scene I was looking forward to this app until I discovered it’s changed dramatically.

   It Used to Be Accessible. I’ve used this app for a long time and absolutely loved it. Every morning I’d listen to the devotionals with my kids because, as a busy mom, I don’t always have time to sit down and read everything. The audio teaching was what made this app so special. Now I can’t even listen to the daily devotional without paying. It feels like almost everything meaningful has been locked behind a paywall. Charging $70 a year or $10 a month for a devotional app feels excessive, especially when the content used to be freely available. And the cherry on top? A waitlist of 29,000+ people hoping someone else will pay for their subscription. That should probably tell you something. It’s disappointing because this app used to feel like it was about making God’s Word accessible to everyone. Now it feels more like it’s about maximizing subscriptions.

   The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. I am so disappointed over this app now charging to listen to the devotional and the Daily Walk with God. How hypocritical, to teach the word of God but have the greed of money as well. It’s a good thing that I follow Jesus and not man. So so sad but not surprising either.

   Use at your risk- Developers are indifferent to issues. Like everything, this has good and bad elements. The good are the messages, and being able to help others with encouragement and prayer. Though to enjoy the entire app, you have to pay. The bad are: 1) Reports of scammers to the Developer, who are blatantly victimizing desperate people , go unheeded. Emails to them go unanswered and people continue to be robbed. Christian sites are prime target for scammers and identity thieves, people are trusting, many are young and too many people believe everyone else there is a Christian with morals. A small group is trying to warn others of the predators, but people still report being victimized. If the developers would ban them, this wouldn't happen. I hope they realize they're liable for failure to act on reports of thieves. 2) There's no instructions on use, rules of conduct, how to report, or repercussions for those who rob or abuse others on this Christian site. 3) Reports of members posts, who are abusive to others and use profanity, including F bombs, also go unheeded, and they are allowed to continue. Many have left due to how offensive some insist on being and are allowed to continue to. It's becoming more like certain social media sites every day, where people forget where they are and why they are there. 4)Too many tech issues! You cannot correct a message to someone or statement, without completely deleting it and starting over. Nor go back to any of your messages or posts easily. I was at the end of answering a persons question, when a pop-up interrupted, telling me an update is available. I refuse to write that message for a third time! If you run out of alloted characters when pasting scripture to a comment, instead of letting you know, it deletes your entire message and closes the app!! 5) The NIV Recently removed a verse from Bible. The developers in their lack of wisdom, removed it from every Bible on their site, though they aren't NIV Bibles!! If you just want to read a quote, some scripture, a devotional that seems to always describe Jesus as cosmic or radical, two of their favorite words, and presumes that everyone has a busy, hectic, strapped for time life (because that's who they speak to the majority of the time ) , and a prayer, then go about your day, this is for you. If you want depth of meaning, a closer walk with God, without having to pay for it, to easily contact specific people you want to check on or have over time, developed a relationship with and want to reach them, to not spend half of your day fighting a system, to wind up giving up out of frustration, look elsewhere, as I've just decided to do.

   Updating my review app now satanic... "as above so below" being said in daily prayer.. Updating: to say to the devs that the saying “as above so below” is not Biblical at all. It is not in the bible and this proves how far you have fallen from using this app to bring Gods glory to earth. That saying is literally a witchcraft mantra. It’s used mostly by the Satanic church and is also closely tied to astrology which is also witchcraft. Stop lying to people stop misrepresenting God and repent. Today is 10/11/2024 I was a user of this app since it first came out. I loved the previous version of the app. It was the best. Simple straight forward and felt good to start my day with. Today I just listened to a pray being lead by voice actor Ross Huguet. It was called "Prayer for those affected by natural disasters". It was completely unbliblical. He states all kinds of false doctrine throughout the prayer and towards the end he literally says the satanic saying: "As above, so below". Look it up. Im not joking. That was enough "Glorify" for me. There is no way the current team whoever they are glorify God if they as mixing satanic rituals with Christianity. Be gone evil app. (Below is my previous review before the app went satanic). ----------------------------- Love the app. The daily walk is the highlight of my day. But my streak keeps resetting even if I’m active that day or use water to repair my streak. It’s just something I noticed that the developers might want to fix. Also, fruit never grows on my tree no matter how many days of a streak I have. Again, a small bug that shouldn’t take away from the real sustenance of the app. THE OVERALL MESSAGE.

   Won’t load. After a recent update I can no longer go back to different dates to read verses or any of my favorite quotes I saved and I paid for membership to allow me to do so. I even get an error trying to load the glorify community. So I will be deleting the app sadly.

   Foolishness. Yall are just like the people Jesus drove out of the temple. Who asked you to update the experience and make things modern. God isn’t a modern God. He’s the ancient of days, rock of ages. The Bible should be free for all. Figure out a way like the you version app to make everything free.and stop trying to modernize and update the app. No one cares about the new features and celebrity endorsed courses. The love of money is the root of all evil.

   Money. I was a huge fan of Glorify before they made it cost money. It’s almost like people want you to pay to get closer to God. It shouldn’t be like that. That is why I’m leaving a one star review. Not everyone has $70 to spend. This app should be free. It was before and helped me grow closer to God. (Not that God is in the app and without it I can’t grow closer to him) But now that it costs $70 a year I’m forced to stop using this helpful tool and move on to another app. Which is also probably going to charge and insane amount of money. Ps. You can bless more people if you make it free. Don’t love money. Love people.

    What Happened?. Glorify was one of my favorites: I could read AND listen to the Bible verses and devotionals (I have ADD/ADHD, so having something to listen to while I read helps me focus). I loved the courses, the music, everything…until they put it behind a paywall. Why would you make me pay for something that used to be free? And having to pay for the AUDIO verses and devotionals? What about people who have vision issues or any other impairment that would benefit from using the audio? You’re seriously putting an accessibility feature behind a paywall? That rubs me the wrong way as a consumer who cares about other people and not just myself. The BIGGEST thing is that it’s sending a message to nonbelievers: The money in your wallet dictates how close you can get to Christ. THIS is why Christianity gets a bad rap. Putting God behind a paywall doesn’t encourage people to seek His face. And I mean, hell, why would I wanna pay for a Bible app when I can just go watch porn for free? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. Glorify USED to be my favorite. But now? I’m gonna recommend YouVersion Bible App from Life.Church. It’s more expansive and…ITS FREE. STAY AWAY FROM GLORIFY

    Used to be a great app. I used to love this app. Now, everything I loved about it requires you to pay for it. Something as simple as listening instead of reading??That’s absurd. I can read the Bible and other devotionals for free. There used to be a way to obtain benefits, the more you use it. That made so much sense. Now you have pay for such basic features. No, thank you. Update: Joining a waitlist for sponsorship that already has over 40,000 people is not a reasonable alternative.

    Glorify-Lite. This is a great example of ‘theory of inevitable gradualism’. With each update, the product became less than, and the ‘gradual’ drive towards ‘pay us’ for this product! Until the ‘inevitable’ conclusion of what the entire app was created for. Money! If this were not true, why not offer a Family Plan? How many subscriptions in one family will satisfy this now Glorify-Less-pay more? Yes, there is already one paid subscription in this family and was happy with my free version for 785 days in a row. I do know where this began and have sadly watched this happen. Would I pay if it still had the Glorious deep scriptural devotions? In a heartbeat! I will NOT be forced to pay for the level of writing I could write. By the way, the free content compared with the paid subscription, is exactly the same! I have written them after each update, this is not news to them. Each reply is an acknowledgment of what I said and an justification of what they’re doing. I feel they have driven me to a point of bad review by telling me, ‘they will give my suggestion of a family plan to the team.’ And what? Gradually putting me here and inevitably making me pay? For what? Other free Biblical publications start offering MORE if you pay! Not manipulations to pay for LESS! Thank you for making this dishonest decision for me! JC

    Discriminatory Pricing for Disabled Folks. I used to listen to the daily devotional every morning. Now Glorify charges a fee to be able to listen. What about those of us who have trouble reading because of vision impairment, dyslexia, etc? Why should disabled people have to pay more to hear the word of God? Very disappointed that this app no longer reflects the values that the Bible itself teaches. The Bible says to help the blind, not charge them more :(

    App Update requires payment for basic service (that is required for individuals with disabilities). I’m honestly very upset. My husband and I use to listen to this app every day together and it was great for our faith. Then glorify updated the app and now you could only listen to the passage and devotion if you pay for it. My husband is dyslexic and I drive us to work so neither of us can listen to it and discuss in our normal morning routine anymore. I understand needing people to pay for an upgrade so the developers can get paid, but there are plenty of other nicer perks people can pay for rather than changing a basic level thing like a listening option. This isn’t ok and it’s certainly not ADA compliant so we will be deleting the app since it’s not usable for us anymore. Please fix this!!

    Suddenly charging for everything. I have listened to the passages and the daily walk with God and it was one thing that actually kept me coming back, but the fact that I sign in today and they want to charge me and have no access to anything to hear…. very disappointing. I will now be deleting this app.

    Now we have to pay??. I’ve had glorify for about 2 yrs one of my favorite apps! I always listen on my way to and from work, while I shower and before I sleep. Today, I open to listen to my daily and saw that you now have to pay to listen, it’s now read only. I’m so bummed cause I have multiple read only apps but this one was my ultimate favorite cause I could listen and drive. It’s sad cause this app stuck out with being free to listen, I have many subscriptions that I have to pay for. And adding another is it’s not feasible. I’m so tired of everything having a fee all of a sudden. Everything is just about money now. :(

    Succumb to greed. Sadly after so many years of sharing devotionals together with my wife, this app has removed the option of audio recordings without charging a fee. Truly a sign of the times of this world. I thank my Lord for the opportunity and ability to delete this Glorify app. To Glorify one must pay - oxymoronic. Let’s let all believers of God’s Word know.

    Glorify’s Business Practices. Glorify started as a wonderful app that seemed to really prioritize the message of God. The call to all believers is to go forth and make disciples, and this app was doing a phenomenal job of building an intentional, daily opportunity to engage with God and grow fellow believers in Christ. However, over the years, they’ve continually drawn back on free features and now there is not much left to do at all unless you are a paid subscriber. The nature of the app itself has now changed, and what should be free for all to experience and learn in Christ is now paywalled. I don’t believe that there’s anything wrong with having paid features in an app, but ALL of these features started off as free, it’s astonishing to see they’ve left little unpaid now. I’m very disheartened to say that I will now be uninstalling the app. I do not wish to support a company that has changed to view believers and their faith as business models. An app now only useful for those willing to pay.

    Disappointed. You can’t copy and paste anything so it won’t let you share Jesus with anybody! When you hit the share icon you have to share the entire devotional, not everybody can take on that much at once especially if they are a non-believer!

    Cost Money. I love the Glorify app only thing is that it cost money. Cost money for prayers and songs and everything that you want to do on the app. Really sad because things like this turn me off and I stopped using it already. Tired of having to pay for anything streaming apps and to think I’m trying to get closer to God and this helps gives you daily scriptures to look up focus on and I just am not going to pay for it anymore. Sad that even to learn about God cost money. Games are free books are freee on apps and the one thing not free is the bible teachings smh not good and I told family friends they said once they saw the charge they didn’t want to use it anymore.

    What happened here?. The people who run Glorify and approve the prerecorded content either need to double check the content being pushed at subscribers or grow their own conscience. Can someone please explain how a “thought for the day” with a HORRIBLE title that I won’t even repeat - that talks about nothing but pointers on how to be more effective in your “side hustle” - yes they actually used that phrase multiple times - but not one word about God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Faith or Devotion is supposed to be bringing us into closer Relationship with God? And when I tried to contact management through the app my message was blocked. How has Glorify fallen so far from the mark? We shall know them by their fruit.

    I’ll rather go to social media.. It breaks my heart to know that the world gives more freely than the children of God. How can apps like instagram, Facebook, TikTok be made free from everyone to use but apps like this are tied to subscription. So if you don’t pay, you can’t study the word of God.
