   Terrible. I used this everyday until it updated and wants to read to me instead of letting me read it. It’s hard to stop after it starts reading. I don’t like the pop up ads. I am going to cancel this app.

   One prayer demoralizes women. One prayer (that I listened to) prays for the strength to resist the “spells of women”….so disappointed that women are still grouped with sin. We are humans and do not deserve that. I deleted this app because that is offensive.

   Backroad music during the daily readings. I like the tune-it is relaxing. But I don’t want to be put to sleep or relaxed during the reading of scripture. I would prefer no background music. And why do I need a nickname to leave a review, I’m spending more time trying to find a “Nick name” than listening to today’s readings. Just moved to one star from 3.

   Episode counter doesn’t update. I’m using the Bible in a Year feature. The times when I’d like to listen to several episodes in a row, the app doesn’t mark the second onwards as done, so there’s no seamless continuity. This seems to also be true of those topics that are divvied into many episodes. Very frustrating. Secondarily, I started listening to a talk on Ignatian prayer that was divided into 30 episodes. It’s so broken up that it’s impossible to listen to. Really bad idea to break up this talk in this manner.

   41 notifications in one morning for daily mass readings. I do love the app. I just installed it last night and it’s exactly what I was looking for. But this morning I have a barrage of notifications for daily mass readings that are still getting sent (50 now). There is nowhere in the app setting as to adjust them. I don’t want to turn them off entirely in settings

   App crashes frequently. Over the past months this app has crashed multiple times when opening & while using.

   WARNING: This app will TRACK YOUR PHONE. THIS APP TRIES TO TRACK YOUR PHONE. I found it tried to track me when I did a regular check of my phone. It was being sneaky, but my safety and privacy settings denied them access. Make sure you look out for that. Also they need to choose better Narrators. The voices of James Seawood, is not pleasant at all. I wanted to listen to the story about Saint Joseph’s dreams but the narrator (James Seawood’s voice) was so irritating, I couldn’t listen to it. They should redo everything James Seawood narrated.

    Suggestion. I have one suggestion. The person saying the prayer speaks too fast, and it is hard to repeat the prayer that she is saying at her pace, it would be nice if you wrote the words so they are easily seen so we can follow in the prayer if needed we can pause and follow at our own pace.

    Good prayer app but could be better. I love the app with the amount of prayers but for the rosary they should either add chapters for each of the mysteries or at least label when each of the mysteries are said or another option is to split the mysteries into different separate tracks so I can select the one for the specific day of the week

    Amen. Overall the app is great but could you possibly add the verses for each bead to help us visualize each bead as we pray.

    3 stars BUT it’s a great app!. This is a great app but I only gave it three stars because of technical issues. Every time I open the app the home page glitches. It also happens every time I move around in the app and then go back to the home page. It is a great app, great content, and very thankful for it.

    Maybe invasive?. I just wanted a free grocery app for my morning commute. When I open the app it wants permissions to send notifications. It also wanted me to enter my email address I decided to delete the app that’s as far as I got.

    Found an error in this platform.. Amen is a wonderful app for prayers, and discovered this platform in my local church. When I enter a prayer it glitches like when I pause it keeps playing that I have to exit the platform and re enter the platform.

    Why NO TEXT to follow with prayers???. You don’t provide text for these prayers. It’s audio ONLY. Imagine only having audio for Bible readings…hard to focus anything contemplative in prayer without it. Just saying. 😟

    Closed captioning. Enjoy this app. Closed captions would make it so much easier. Often I don’t understand the words, so I listen to a different app that has CC. Thanks

    Keep up the great work Augustine Institute. I have an affinity and devotion to Saint Augustine. The Augustine Institute does great work. I am a mission circle member. They have everything from daily reflections to graduate level study. They even offer on campus retreats. I would really like to see a Bible offering. Most Bible apps are Protestant and I would love to see AI include the RSV-CE Bible, either in Amen or a separate app. Also more of Augustine‘s writings. It would be great if I could read or listen to City of God and other of his other writing and letters.

    Need subtitles. I love this app. However I have a hearing disability and would greatly appreciate if you could add subtitles, especially to the prayers. That would make it more user friendly for people like me who have processing disorders. Thank you!

    Beautiful. A treasure trove of things that bring you closer to God, with prayers, Daily Mass Reading, and other things. Many options for background music or ambient noise which helps me focus. I’m grateful for this app.

    Bible readings. I use the app for the daily readings and for the reflection. But I don't understand why you use different translation of the Bible than that used in the missal. It is hard to follow along with the narration when a different version is used. What bible translation are you using?

    Could be better. Pros: Music, art, prayer choices, evening/sleep options Cons: no text to read along and learn prayers, narration voices are weak or too fast paced. They don’t sound or feel solemn or holy.

    Great Catholic App. I have really been enjoying the Amen app. It offers so many resources! The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is the fact that the daily readings & reflection don’t have transcripts. I didn’t realize how much I used them until I used an app that doesn’t have them. Please developers, if possible, add transcripts! Love everything else!
