   Intrusive and distracting changes. My layouts incorporating my daily devotional reading plans no longer work as expected. Also, a blue icon with a red dot now shows up on my primary translation and a blue line which adds no value to me shows on the left side of the pane. These are intrusive and distracting to my reading/studying process.

   Christians shouldn’t be stealing from customers. Did the free monthly trial to check out the features and they are very involved. Realized I should probably use the app without all the bells and whistles until I’m fluent with it then I’ll orderr the prime package. Canceled my free trial days before the end of the 30 day trial. The banner comes up “please don’t go! The discount offer is still available!” Said no then they charged me $200 yesterday. For shame logos. Not very Christian of you at all

   Too many Rating Requests. Logos is excellent except there are tooo many requests for a rating. I am bad at giving ratings and reviews.

   Money Hungry. I’ve used the app for years and it was fantastic. Recently they paywalled features that previously we included with the edition I purchased years ago, such as the word look up feature. A very unfair and oxymoronic thing for a Christian organization to do.

   Don’t update to 51. Reading plan creation is broken. It now creates reading plans based on arbitrary time factors instead of the old version like chapters. If you want to spend hours guessing the right time metric to get normal chapter breaks, this update is for you. Good luck creating a plan for a normal book. You’ll be stopping mid-chapter… they could have kept both systems until they got it right but instead you must take it this way or no way. Normally a big fan of Logos but this is lazy programming and they are too busy congratulating themselves over what they think is great instead of realizing it is broken more than it was before.

   More and more of a cash grab. I love Logos, and have used it throughout my BA and MA in Biblical Studies program. However ever since they jumped on the subscription model and AI bandwagon, I feel like it’s becoming more and more of a cash grab. I don’t want the AI features and yet every time I do an inline search it automatically performs it and then tells me I have a limited amount of free searches left. However I decided to write today because it now looks like I have to pay for the exact same feature that was free a month ago, which is to highlight a word and see the Hebrew behind it. The idea of paying for a feature that used to be free is ridiculous enough as it is, but even more so when I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on Greek and Hebrew dictionaries. But that doesn’t matter, because I need to upgrade to the new subscription to have the convenience that I’ve always enjoyed. If I hadn’t sunk thousands of dollars into this product I’d be switching to accordance.

   money first. More ai garbage.. Update. App is now worse. Sell out to AI. Will not disclose what API they use, I’m guessing chat gpt. Also I already left a review and now forced pop ups begging for more reviews! Do you really want more ai forced into your life? Another subscription model, especially with BIBLE software. No one asked for this. If we need ai for study we can jump over to Claude or chat or Gemini free tier. We don’t wanna pay monthly for your api tokens. Remember logos does not have their own model. You are paying to use chat gpt or something similar. Open AI is not a company I want to support. Along with many other ai companies. So your so called biblical insights from the baked in poorly handled ai comes from who know where. Sermons, podcasts, blogs, etc. all of which is not peer reviewed or cited. Anyone who reads this id honestly buy a copy of e-sword lt. go get that it’s cheap simple and no subscription or lies. (That I know of anyway) If you’re already invested with literally hundreds or even thousands in Logos like I am, you may understand my frustration. Stay away from the subscription and keep buying the hard back versions in print on real paper if you can.

   Frustrating. Paid for the subscription and the thing kept telling me to keep subscribing would not let me use any of the features. Super frustrating. I’ll stick to other Bible apps that are free and I’m way easier to use.

    No more dictionary. The app was way better when you could click on a word and see the definition.

    Good idea, executed the wrong way. Lots of bugs. And seems like just a way to make profit :(. I saw this app and was excited to download it! I was disappointed to say the least, the app is slow and hard to navigate, and some pages and translations didn’t even work. Those bugs can definitely be changed. But if the creators of this app are truly desiring to bring the gospel to everyone and give more insight into the bible, they wouldn’t be looking for ways to make more money, the goal should always be, to willing and happily share insights into the bible that we have learned, not trying to make money off of it. Super disappointing. Praying that the creators feel convicted about making money off Gods word, and insights from the Holy Spirit.

    Spent thousands on this app and now can hardly even search my own resources.. I’m a diamond logos 10 owner, who put thousands of hard-earned dollars into this app. Since the update to a subscription based platform, all the search features have been hidden inside of AI-assisted search features. I even gave the subscriptions a chance, only to find that there was still a limit on search requests for paying subscribers.. Hopefully a better alternative come soon, because Logos is heading down the wrong path.

    Disappointed. I have this app as apart of my coursework and I am extremely frustrated. The app will not pull up my readings and it is causes a major delay. I absolutely would not recommend.

    Unusable. iPad menu font too small and can’t change. Can’t find program settings . Several menus all over the place but good luck finding the one that you want. So user unfriendly I wish I had bought something else.

    Fraud Alert. So I bought a library soon after logging in. Went to get the 50% off gold library and when I clicked purchase (after entering all my info) it kicked me out. Now I cannot get back in as it states invalid email or password. Mind you, it is auto on my computer and phone. I have logged in and out several times today and now all of a sudden my info is wrong. Ok cool. Password reset. Email sent, click the link and it says page expired. I follow all the instructions of clearing cache, using different browser…all the things, still doesn’t work. Customer service did reply to my first email with the same generic garbage and now they are non existent. Surprise surprise. Requested money back and I’m sure that we t happen. Anyways, not worth the headache, Olive tree is what I already use but was told logos is better. Obviously that was fake news…dang, I fell for it too, just realized this😐. Well if you read this far, don’t fall for it.

    Used to be great. I’ve paid for a library from Logos, have had access to amazing training and research tools for years, but now they charge a subscription for basic features like word search and cross-reference. It makes a powerful tool that I paid for into little more than a bible app, of which there are many other more functional apps without a subscription.

    No search filter in store. For an app with thousands of possible search results, how can you possibly justify not having this feature. There are collections on the app worth over 25 grand, yet you can’t afford to have a basic store search filter. What do you use our money for? More ai slop? I want to love this app, but I don’t.     Disappointing Billing Practices and Lack of Accountibilty. I am deeply disappointed with my experience using the Logos App, particularly regarding its billing practices and customer service. Upon making my initial purchase, I was automatically enrolled in a recurring billing plan. While I acknowledge that I should have reviewed the fine print more carefully, the lack of transparency in how this was presented is concerning. More troubling, however, is that the subscription was automatically renewed without any prior notification or opportunity to decline continued service. On the very day the renewal charge hit my bank account and after receiving an alert from my bank I immediately contacted customer service to cancel and request a refund. I was informed that the representative could not assist me directly and that I would need to complete a form for review by another department. I promptly completed the form, clearly requesting both a refund and closure of my account. Unfortunately, no one ever followed up. I later contacted customer service again to inquire about the status, but received no meaningful assistance. At that point, it became evident that no resolution or refund would be provided. I proceeded to close the account myself, left with the financial loss resulting from what I consider an unauthorized renewal. What makes this especially disheartening is that Logos is a Bible-based platform. As such, one would reasonably expect a higher standard of integrity, transparency, and accountability in its business practices. This experience has significantly diminished my trust in the organization, and I hope future customers are made more clearly aware of billing terms and are treated with greater responsiveness and fairness when issues arise.

They censor any biblical criticism of the evil work nation in the bible that we cannot name and AI surveillance is forced on us and our thinking after we invest 12567$ in stupid books we purportedly own. Just like this fake nation they are fake and fox news is their holy spirit as Murdock bought most of bible books etc publishers so its all fake and gay like candace says

    Broken search functions since last update. Ever since the last update I can’t do an “inline search” of the Bible for keywords. I just get zero results every time. And the AI generated search results are useless.

    AI is the wrong direction. I noticed in the iPad app that I no longer get a lexicon entry when highlighting a greek word. I do, however, get an AI translation of the word. I have no idea if the AI translation is koine or some other greek. And I don’t have a link to the lexicon entry showing me the form of the word or its range of meaning. I use Logos for precise scholarship, not the fuzzy error prone logic of AI. AI is the wrong direction for Faithlife Logos.

    Difficult to navigate, no audio. The reason I chose this is because I thought it was an application at the ability to provide audio reading of the contents I was wrong. Additionally is very difficult to navigate to figure out if it even had audio or if it does, I couldn’t figure it out.

    Charged but no changes. I got charged $26 and nothing has changed from what I was getting for free. Even though it says that I wouldn’t get charged anything for 30 days. And then every month after would be $10 a month. So why I got charged $26 I’m not sure. But it would help if someone can actually contact me to give me a refund and do what it said it was going to do or give me more features because the exact features I have now is exactly what I had when it was free.

    Many problems. Very disappointed with the new app on the Mac. Keeps crashing, unable to create folders to save content. The online chat for “help” is ai and absolutely useless. Emailed support over 2 wks ago and have not heard back. I was keenly interested in the expanded capabilities of the new app and had bible focus as my NY growth plan because of it. I guess it’ll be yoga now to deal with the frustrations of this poorly vetted app. Cancelling my subscription.

    Extremely slow on iPad. It fist it wouldn’t open on iPad now after total delete and reinstall it opens but is slow and sometimes locks up. Not a good thing if I relied solely on LOGOS when preaching

    iPhone Buyer Beware. I spent $1,200 on Logos resources and none of them showed up in the iPhone app. My library stayed stuck at the same number, and nothing reinstalling, resetting, logging out, or refreshing made the new books appear. I spent all afternoon trying to fix it. The cause is unclear, and as of now I don’t know whether it will be fixed. All I know is I seem to have wasted a lot of time and money and will need to dispute my credit card unless this is corrected. :(
