   App itself. The only thing this app is good for is the days I’m 15 and I can’t pay for the premium subscription they just need to let you have everything for free except the next day like let you see all the best lures for the day that you’re fishing and not just let you see one or two lures. I only use this app for the days and if I found another app that did this without having to pay to see the best lures I would get rid of this app and get that one.

   App not working. For some reason, it doesn’t load half the time I pull it up and now it keeps telling me to update it, but there is no update so I cannot use the app. What is going on?

   Why am I getting ADs when I subscribe!?. I’ve been subscribed to bass forecast for the last 2 (maybe 3) years but all of a sudden I’m getting ADs! Between forced ads even though I’m a paying subscriber and the bass forecast number changing dramatically seemingly arbitrarily within the same day I’m about ready to cancel my subscription

   Too many’s ads. I had paid subscription and can’t get insurance ad off my page when I open it. Hate this because it could have been a useful tool. Waste of money as it is.

   Ad problems. Will occasionally become unusable due to an unclosable ad taking up the entire screen. Can only be fixed by deleting the app or restarting the phone. Pretty infuriating for an app I pay for.

   Inaccurate money grab. The ratings per day are far off…I fish all over Ohio and places 1/2 hours apart have ratings that differ by 3.0 some days. Lure recommendations suck and all 5 do not work 90% of the time. Really bothered about the ‘free’ things included, you can’t get anything without spending $100. Hope you have the day you deserve scam artist

   Could be good. If I pay for an app. There should NOT be adds in it period, but yet you added them and the worse part is most of the time I open it up one pops up I cannot close so I have to reset the app then it pops up again after I re open it. Other then that it was helpful to an extent not worth the trouble of paying to see adds though.

   Pro fisher. I got the pro subscription and none of my perks worked. They said that they would give me a free tacklebox and it would ended up still being five dollars. I know that’s not much but when you promised something you’re expecting zero.

    Out on a “9” day. Complete waste of time out on a 9 day. NOTHING! Had the suggested gear. If I can’t catch something on a 9 day maybe I should just give it up!

    Sales ploy. It’s primarily centered on bait and switch monthly plans like bait boxes and other subscriptions. The data provided to an angler is easily found on Google and the interface is poor at best. Not worth the cost and beware of the constant free but not free subscription attempts

    HORRIBLE INFO. doesnt give accurate info and doesn’t even work it only lets you selct a city not even a certain fishing spot snd then the weather was off by 15° and the wind literally horrible absolute waste of money

    Was good. I’ve used this thing for a couple of seasons, but this time after starting the subscription, it is not Giving me a full week. I tried notifying Support no response. I did all the normal things of deleting the app and reinstalling no luck.

    To many ads. Why not offer an ad free app, and charge more for it. And offer an app at an increased cost that display the time zone, because without the time zone where the app is used, the times displayed are meaningless. In my opinion.

    New update 8/20/25 cash grab. I’ve been using this app for a year or two almost every day. This recent update made the regular features part of the premium function. Used to give you top 5 baits for free now they want me to pay 5.99 a month. It was free yesterday???? Not worth it, the app is fun to use but doesn’t really work. You can have a 3/10 day and catch ten bass, you can have a 9/10 day and catch zero. Obvious attempt to just take people’s money, the top 5 baits are always just typical go to lures and they don’t tell you what color. Disappointed in the developer, switching to Fishbrain.

    Making it more and more pay to use. It’s now making it so that more and more things are pro only. It’s a good app, but not worth the cost. Can just google search pretty much all of it. Please google search for yourself and see that this info is readily available. Once it cut it off to charge more money, the app became useless. Can check baits and time of day for best fishing without having to pay anything. The greed of the app creator has came out. All this info is free online.

    Greedy. I had this app for awhile and I’ve seen it go from showing most of the week with all of the lures you can use to just one day and no help with lures. I never truly needed this app, but it was a quick and easy look before going out. No use for it anymore now that they’ve really gotten greedy about showing their stuff

    Garbage. Forecast is wildly inaccurate. Fishing at Guntersville this week. Today, the app said Thursday 11/6/2025 was going to be a 9.2. That was at 9:00 am. When I checked again at 5:00 pm, the rating had dropped to a 6.0. Today (11/5/2025) it was rated a 7.2. Friday (11/7/2025) will be a 7.2 as well. No new weather patterns have been reported that would change the forecast that drastically. This is not the only time I’ve run into this issue.

    Don’t waste your time.. I downloaded this app because of a recommendation from a YouTuber. From the snippets that YouTuber showed, it looked like the app had some good features even at the free tier, and even more to offer with the pro tier. I was surprised to find upon download that the free tier had no where near the functionality shown in the video. Then I realized the video was from some time ago, and it appears that the app developer decided not enough people were paying for the pro version and decided to cripple the free tier. As if that wasn’t bad enough, there are some bugs in the app, maybe as a result of the updated iOS? Idk, but this app is not worth the download. What’s worse is apparently they don’t care that their users feel taken advantage of. Don’t waste your time.

    Went from the what I’m telling everyone to use to the money grab keep your wallet away.. This used to be the app I recommended to everyone how I knew where when and what gig to catch what to use everything and over the last year or so maybe two it’s gotten progressively more and more pay walled like everything else in fishing and go that can’t recommend it and loads of people if recommended it to have stopped using the app entirely it’s not for the budget fisherman.

    New Forecast. Here’s the forecast- I’m OUT. This pro-subscriber and avid app user is GONE!! I HATE IT when apps get greedy and take away the base features like the Top 5 lure choices!! I use d that ALL the time; and the last update took it away AND you raised the price!? 😆 Bahahaha! NOPE. Tyler, cmon man, think about the kids AT LEAST? This may have been some of them’s ONLY valid resource to use as a developmental base because of various multiple circumstances! Now you’re charging for the basic top 5 lure choices?!? At least offer it free to anybody under- say- 16? Jeez, SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED IN YALL🤡s. SERIOUSLY DELETING BECAUSE OF THIS.     An example of how NOT to push a pro subscription. “We’ve got people to pay” run ads. Tons of freemium apps do this, and it’s expected by the consumer that they will be run ads on a freemium service. Getting a large user base from your free features just to lock them behind a paywall is garbage and lazy tactic to sell pro subs. Fishbrain all over again.

    Waste of money. Do not purchase the subscription for this useless app. I have learned I definitely catch more fish when I do the exact opposite of what the app is telling me. Stupid app can’t even pull weather info for the day correctly. So if it says the fish are not going to be active and to use a crank bait, the fish will be jumping and hitting top water. Waste of time and money all the way around

    Greedy. Loved this app in the past and started to use it when I first got into fishing. Definitely helped me get more comfortable in trying different baits (when it worked) and I’ve noticed more and more being taking away from the free version. Definitely don’t care to have it anymore, started out feeling like this app was here to help anglers but now feels more like a cash grab. Greedy corporate behavior!
