   Login issues. After the update I issues login in or using FaceId. Sometimes no matter what i try i can not get in via app but works fine online. Please fix this i use this during downtime to get studying done.

   Complete Disaster!. I even bought a new iPad thinking something was wrong with my old one, but turns out it was always the app! It has so many bugs, glitches, malfunctions! The app turns off automatically and gets hung up often. Sometimes I am doing a test and it crashes midway then I lose all my progress! It has been like that for several months now! An app that is so widely used by people all over the world and they are doing nothing to fix it is unacceptable! I draw attention of the team that deals with this!

   Unable to login. I am very disappointed that this application does not let me log into my account. I use my username and password that works on my computer then the app shows an error message saying that the account details do not match.

   Login Errors. The app is excellent for exam prep, as long as it lets you log in. I have had significant trouble logging into the app for several weeks. Often it just spins and spins and doesn’t work. Very frustrating when you have limited time between seeing patients, rounding, or doing other tasks and trying to slip some studying in. Needs significant improvement in that aspect.

   Poorly designed app with frustrating security features. The app is incredibly frustrating to use. It’ll routinely log users out (presumably for “security” reasons), forget previously answered questions (requiring users to re-answer), and is very unintuitive for navigation (you have to through like four to five different windows just to reach your qbank).

   App will not load. Every time I try to sign in, it just keeps buffering and nothing ever shows up. They made us (PAs) move to this app and it even doesn’t work.

   Great product, horrible app. App is borderline useless. Amazing product, works perfectly on a computer or web browser. But this App works less than 1 in 10 attempts. Constant “authenticate” errors, or the wheel just spins when I go to log in and never advances. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times trying to fix the issue, with absolutely no improvement. This is NOT a negative review of Uworld test bank and study materials, which are 5/5 phenomenal. But the app needs A LOT of work.

   Not Practical for Efficient Studying. The app is focused on everything except being practical for efficient studying. UWorld Medical users need to be able to do questions on the go, review them thoroughly, highlight key information, and move through study sessions without unnecessary interruptions. The app interface is frustrating, poorly designed, slow, glitchy, and not user-friendly. It is so irritating to use that it makes you not want to use the app, even though we absolutely need to. Highlighting is one of the biggest problems. It should be fast, simple, seamless, and easy to control, but instead it interrupts both answering questions and reviewing them. It glitches with every highlight, wastes time, and the annotation pop-up continues to appear even when annotation is turned off in settings. Annotation is already listed as a separate toggle, so there is no reason for that pop-up to appear while highlighting. The multi-color highlight option makes it worse by blocking the content and making highlighting nearly unusable. Double-tapping or selecting text both glitch. Highlighting should be seamless and should not require extra clicks just to mark important information. UWorld Medical users do not have time for this. In 2026, there is no excuse for ongoing glitches or an app interface that slows users down. Every update barely fixes one issue but never fails to create another. Before this, the issue was text not fitting properly on the screen. Please focus less on screenshots and preventing content repurposing, and more on making the app practical, smooth, fast, reliable, and efficient for paying users. For the price we pay for UWorld Medical, the app should be nothing less than perfection.

    The app doesn’t have. The same categories as the web version. It only includes the step 1-3 for the USMLE but not the other stuff like for the PAs and NPs etc. would have been nice to have this for on the go especially for $300+

    Glitching over and over. If you go in and out of the app or spend too long doing questions it just doesn’t save your progress in a block. You have to go back and redo the questions. This is not some kind of banking app that needs to be this secured to be kicking you out every few minutes like this.

    Super glitchy. I don’t know what’s been going on lately with this app but its super glitchy. Images refuse to load, screen gets frozen over and i see the same question despite hitting next, unable to submit exam due to “error.”

    Error while submitting review. UWorld content is helpful, I’ve used it over multiple years as the primary study tool for STEP 1-3 and shelf exams. But I have to say I’m disappointed in the app’s functionality for on-the-go studying. The amount of times I’ve had issues with my answers not being saved if I start an untimed question block on the app, then later try to finish it on a web browser (or vice-versa), is baffling. I started using the app in 2023 — it’s now 2025 and I’m still getting “error while submitting test” when I try to suspend, and more often than not. Please fix it one of these years.

    Too clunky to highlight. Highlighting is a two step process on the mobile app. Very tedious to select text and then hit highlight after that. This is not a unified, streamlined experience. This simply makes the mobile experience inferior to the desktop/browser one.

    Worse than before. Buggy, prone to quitting in the middle of a quiz, and same old unintuitive interface. Good thing they have a captive audience that needs the app for only a short time for exam prep.

    Doesn’t let me login!!!. I just discovered there was an app and although I have an active subscription, when attempting to login the app states I need to purchase one. I just successfully logged in using the web browser. Incredibly frustrating.

    Better to use desktop website. time spent reviewing flashcards on the UWorld website is tracked, while the mobile app may not consistently reflect this time in your study analytics. Also when I edit flashcards in the app, the changes do not save and I had to go back and re-edit them several times - very inconsistent

    Can’t login. Idk if it’s a bug but you can’t log in. It’ll say your account doesn’t exist and prompts you to spend an additional $500. Just stick to the website

    Force password reset. Randomly stopped working with FaceID. Obviously then when I go to check passwords, it somehow hasn’t saved a password. Ridiculous.

    Not once have I been able to sign on. If you don’t want to fix this app, take it off the App Store. This is ridiculous. Stop wasting our time. This app is not functional - you can’t sign in. I downloaded it months ago. Couldn’t sign in. Saw it again today, tried to sign in on my iPad using the password I use on my computer every single day, and it did not work after several retries (same thing as when I initially downloaded it). Fix this or take it down.

    So many buggy issues that make the experience using the app poor. UWorld is good, in terms of content and what it’s meant to be used for. But the phone app is simply awful. If you leave the app idle for even an hour, and you decide to open a graphic in a question answer, it won’t open. Then you have to restart the app. The problem when you restart the app is that the app does not properly keep track of where you were during a test. It usually is about 5 or 6 questions behind, sometimes 10 or more, forcing you to answer those questions however you thought you did before so as to keep accurate data about what you got wrong or right. It’s terrible in this regard. They need to fix this now otherwise competitors like AMBOSS and USMLE Rx will be the go-to insteadz

    Abysmal App. I have never left a review for any app in my life, but using UWorld on the iPad has become so frustrating that I feel I need to warn others. UWorld is great content-wise, but it will NEVER remember your answers. It will constantly allow you to finish exams but will not remember you have logged in. It’s clear that there is a timer that automatically logs you out on the backend but does not log you out from the front end. This means you will start a block of questions, you must finish them all immediately. If you have to see a patient and minimize the app then attempt to resume your block, it will allow you to keep answering questions BUT WILL CRASH when you get to the end. This means you’ll have to relog in then repeat the 20 questions you did when you were logged out by the system. The creators of the material do a great job. The app developers have created one of the worst users experiences on this device.

    Great Q Bank. Horrible iPad App. Please stop arterial limiting the functions of our devices! The app blocks connecting to an external display. Why!? If i want to do some practice questions while my iPad is connected to a larger screen I should be able to. This is ridiculous.
