   Don’t Trust. They leaked my personal information on the web. Will never trust again. You better check your info too!

   Poor customer service. While trying to cancel my subscription the app magically stopped working on the my account page where I was prompted with an option to upgrade to Unity Pass, both a “not now” and the “x” button would not work. I tried closing the app multiple times and tried again, nothing changed. I figured the app was frozen, on a final attempt both options to opt out of unity pass did not work… but go figure the enroll now button did and then the app worked perfectly fine. The instant charge of $23.99 to my account, no warning or anything. Contacted customer service 7minutes after the activation and their response “it’s in the subscription detailed there’s no refund”. Long story short decent food, poor customer service, and horrible app UI design. Won’t be returning

   Good Luck with Billing. They used to bill once a week, usually on the same day. That’s perfect for a weekly delivery service. Now they Bill on seemingly random day, sometimes multiple times per week! Good luck, keeping track of those charges. I don’t know why they made that change, but it certainly makes the billing harder to follow. Was that their intent?

   Poor customer service. One of my orders arrived with 5 out of 7 meals opened (not fully sealed). You can imagine the mess inside the box. I request to get a refund and they instead give me a credit in my account. Next week order, they charged me instead of using the “credit”. Foods taste good, but the customer service is horrible.

   Great service. Bad app.. App is very glitchy and it’s worse after the most recent update. When I click on previous orders the app says “something went wrong” and makes the app inconvenient.

   Great product, terrible app. Recent changes make it really hard to review and select meals each week. Please change the nav back!

   Notmfor everyone (not for me). I'm going to call myself a 'picky eater'. I don't have any so-called food 'allergies', there are just things I never ate and never will. Among them are seafood, most beef (except a hamburger once a year or so), and when it comes to cuisines, I can't stomach Indian or anything spicy. I'm neither a West Coast person nor someone who ever found Mexican food even slightly appealing. Some people have said this makes me 'difficult' to find food I'll eat, while others understand immediately, I'll eat Italian, and I love Chinese (even Thai). Sometimes I'll enjoy a chicken Kyiv or a beef Wellington, but I tend to stay away from meat (although I spent a decade eating at restaurants without realizing the 'chicken' dishes I loved were all soy. Wow!). I scrolled through this because I really wanted to try it. I won't touch empanadas or quesadillas I don’t want or like any of those. When I go out, K never has a problem. I'm not overweight - far from it but I do eat. I like a good lasagna, a quiche, an omelette, or pasta. This other stuff just turns me off. I'll stick to calling my Empire Szechuan, or the goodmitalian place close by.

    Login issues. I have to login thru gmail every single time I open the app, which causes me to not get notifications about deliveries. Once I’m logged in the screen is frozen and I have to restart the app every time. Really annoying.

    Logs me out every time. Every time I go to use this app I’m logged out and have to log back in. Then the controls often fail to work, and I have to force quit to be able to see / edit my orders. A weirdly high amount of friction given how they should want to make it easy for you to order more from them!

    App is Awful. I can’t click nor do anything. It’s a shame because I like the food options and unless this is fixed, I don’t think I’ll continue to order since it’s impossible to do anything in the app. The same applies to the mobile website.

    Food is good, app is terrible. The app really gets in the way of having a good experience. It doesn’t support multiple users or profiles. It regularly becomes unresponsive and I have to kill and reopen the app. It logs me out of the app when my partner accesses the app on her phone. Not very well set up for families.

    The App Functionality is Horrible. When you try to track your order or review your items, it does not respond. You can’t review meals or review your food. Dev’s need to create a better app and release once functional. It’s a reason we do testing before launching.

    Great food, horrendous app. Probably one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. It’s completely unusable. Which sucks because the service itself is great and the food is good. But the app is so bad I’m considering quitting. FIX THE APP!

    Truly one of the worst apps i’ve ever seen. How on earth could they release an app like this in 2026? I hated the previous version but at least it worked. This new one is crazy bad, it’s like they actively don’t want us to use their product… majority of the buttons just don’t work. good luck trying to review your cart or see the full menu

    Worst app update. I came here to say the same thing as many of the recent reviews. We love the food and the chefs, but the app , especially after the latest major update has become extremely frustrating to use. The website and app design make navigation unnecessarily difficult, and the overall experience feels much worse than before. I’m honestly considering switching to another service because the usability has declined so much.

    App is slow, buggy, hard to navigate. This is a review for the app, not the service. The app is a web view, in which case this shouldn’t even be an app. It’s slow, getting to past orders and meals is difficult to navigate, every time you go back to a page it refreshes so the context is gone, and even looking at prices during checkout is difficult. You can’t see an order price summary after ordering, and now I can’t even see the price summary BEFORE ordering.

    Horrible new app. I’ve been using CookUnity for over a year and never had any issues ordering my food. I always wished that they had better features to make ordering easier and was thrilled when I saw that they revamped the app to include these features. However, now that they changed it, the app is nothing but frustrating. Most of the things I need to click on don’t even register so I’m unable to order the specific things I would like to order. I can’t even do a simple search, so have to default to items on the homepage. I’m really conflicted because I love the meals and even became a Unity pass member. But this ordering frustration and not being able to order what I would actually like to order is making me want to cancel and just go back to Factor.

    Review on app only. I absolutely love cook unity. I’ve been ordering food from them around a year. With that being said, their app sucks. I’ve tried multiple times to use it and each time it refers me back to the website for my “first order”. It doesn’t have a place to even sign in.

    Almost nothing works in this app. The only thing that works in this app is picking meals but forget about filtering, searching, seeing order or meal info. Literally 90% of the app sucks or plainly doesn’t work.

    Slow glitchy app. This app is a pain to use. It takes a long time to place orders because of how slow and unintuitive it is. Switched over from factor and their app was significantly better.
