   Ridiculous amount of stuff with no organization.. This app is a mess. Clearly designed just to keep you paying. Impossible to navigate. Don’t bother. Waste of money

   Bad company. The product was cumbersome and hard to set up and maintain. They set you up on autopay and if you cancel they don’t refund you.

   A waste of money. Unfortunately, I paid for the app and then I paid for the unlimited package before the app reveals itself entirely. This app is too much work for a person with ADHD. It wants you to read articles, you’re supposed to check off what your weight is, how you’re feeling what your mood is etc. it give gives zero productivity. I was looking for an app that would send you Reminders time to do this or time to do that and it’s not that at all.. Don’t waste your time.

   Fraudulent charges. Never add this app! Unauthorized fraudulent charges. No notice before charges are placed on account. Little to customer support regarding charges.

   Unable to unsubscribe. Like another review, it’s misleading. I thought I had cancelled through the app at the end of my free trial. I had not. I’ve sent an email hoping that it will be cancelled before I’m charged yet again. I rarely write negative reviews, but hopefully this will save someone some money and a wild goose chase.

   Hidden fee structure. After signing up for what I expected was a little taste of the experience, I was billed $30 for the monthly fee which was not disclosed. There’s also no place to remove a credit card aside from contacting the company. This app is a SCAM!! And their developer response to everyone in the same situation is the same. I never used the product and their fee structure was never disclosed. Save yourself money and don’t sign up for this BS app.

   Boring app. This app is burning and not engaging. Also they charge you with no reminder to cancel and the refuse to refund. Also charged for 1:1 coaching . Refuse to refund . App causes more stress than it relieves

   Didn’t consent to subscription. I signed up for 1 month subscription and then approx. 1 month later, I see a charge on my credit card for 39.98. I didn’t consent to extending the subscription and there were no notifications that my 1 month was up. They make it difficult to cancel the subscription on the app. Nora, a junior support specialist told me this…”as a digital service, subscription payments are non-refundable once processed.” It’s interesting how purchasing an app through apple may make you eligible for a refund, but not when the app creator charges you directly. Overall, the app didn’t seem all that helpful and now I’m out $60. Be careful if you decide to try Brainway.

    Misleading subscription. Wish I had read another one star review. I had the same experience as the other reviewer with poor customer service refusing to refund the quarterly payment less than an hour after it was charged. This is a horrible company to do business with.

    Chargers and cancellation. This app is very misleading as far as the charges I ended up paying for $19.99 for the trial period of a month. I didn’t use the app because I thought it was very confusing and not use a friend friendly. I then got a call from my credit union that there was a charge of $99 from them and I decided to say I didn’t want that so they blocked my debit card. After that, I got two emails from them saying my subscription was canceled, but this is $99 was pending. So I decided to have them unlock my debit card and it still was pending. I contacted customer service and they have addressed me pretty quick, but basically they said they couldn’t refund me even for our one time exception because of their cancellation policy. I think that’s ridiculous to pay $99 for one on one coaching for a month. I’m retired so I was hoping to get that back, but they don’t work with you and who knows if the person responded to me from customer service is ai.

    DO NOT BUY!!!!. Worst app ever! MISLEADING advertising- it is cumbersome, not user friendly, unproductive use of time, and does NOT do what it claims. I tried to get a refund within two hours and was refused a refund. Once you open the app you realize right away how poorly set up it is and will absolutely not aide you in any way. I can’t stress enough- LOOK ELSEWHERE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! SCAM

    Sketchy Company/Lame App. I paid for one week of Brainway to see if I liked it and if it was engaging enough to stick with. Basically nothing more than a checklist, so I wasn’t going to continue with it. Next thing I know I am charged $40 for the month. I contacted the company who said “it was not their policy to refund a customer once the charge had gone through. I tried elevating my concern and displeasure for this sneaky approach to stealing people’s money. Basically got the exact same email from 3 different “ customer service” reps. It’s hard to trust a mental health app that practices fraudulent behavior. The app was nothing special and definitely not worth the price so I do not recommend.

    Not effective and Misleading. This app doesn’t help with breaking procrastination as it says. It just sends you notifications to your phone as reminders but that’s easy to ignore or miss. The app was also not straightforward with the subscription. They’ll continue to charge you even after you delete the account (not the app the actual entire account and log in). After escalating to their support team about the $30 charge post account closure, they said I had to read the tiny terms and conditions that there’s another step to cancel the subscription. Very misleading. Don’t recommend. Felt like a scam.

    No refunds. I got it for 1 week trial payed $6 and it was very difficult to cancel and charged me $38 dollars very misleading and refuses to give refund when it charged me something I wasn’t supposed to to pay. The app is very useless and I’ve been emailing them and they refuse to give me a refund.

    Sketchy and tricky charges, low value app. Very tricky and sketchy subscription and fee model, designed to make users pay as much as possible for a craptastic app. Be especially careful if buying from a click on social, the makers of this app are clearly counting on users to not pay close attention. Bottom line - bad biz, bad product.

    SCAM SCAM SCAM. They have a shady subscription service and I have read so many other reviews like this. Theres no way to cancel your subscription in the app or in the App Store. I deleted all my information and yet they continued to charge me. They claim to email them but all their responses are automated and none of their customer service representatives actually try to help you

    Scam. I purchased one month of this for $19.99 and downloaded the app, created a login, and then of course you have to go through an answer all the same stupid questions again that you’ve already answered the first time only to get to the end and be told to subscribe with payment options and it won’t let you go any further. I’ve already subscribed to one month so why is it I can’t access any information except a pop-up screen that wants you to pay to subscribe again?? Refund my money!

    Overall review. Very misleading with subscription. To my understanding I purchased a yearly subscription. All of a sudden I was being charged quarterly. I finally got my subscription cancelled after multiple attempts due to them stating they could not find my account with the email I was requesting cancellation on and charged me again. I sent the 3 emails used and nothing. I got busy and forgot to insist on cancellation, Charged again. They requested last 4 of credit card being charged and magically they found and cancelled subscription. Requested a refund for last charge since it had just occurred. They state they can’t because I never sent them the registration email. SMH I’m requesting my cancellation from the original emailed used and I had also sent them the 3 emails I used in the body of email as well. Crazy how they found it with last digits of a credit card but not the email used. Plus the program in the app was very robotic and I didn’t find it engaging. Felt more like keeping a journal and I could do that for free.

    Not useful, scammy practices. Avoid, it is not useful at all. They will charge you renewal subscription without even telling you. They make it hard to cancel intentionally by not showing up as a subscription and not having a cancel subscription option in the app. There are tons of reviews online saying they keep charging even after you have sent in a cancelation request by email and they have acknowledged it.

    Scam. I unsubscribed soon after getting the app and canceled my subscription, but then they charge me a renewal fee anyway and won’t give me a refund after a year of non-use. Don’t use this app. There are plenty of other apps out there that are more helpful, like BetterMe.
