   Too bad about the excessive ads. Ad after every entry. I was ok with this. But an ad for editing a preexisting entry? Excessive. It doesn’t make me want to pay for premium. In fact, I think I’m done using it altogether. Good job.

   I can’t do anything. So at first when I saw this app it looked really cute and helpful. I downloaded it and it was working until after the survey and all that. It won’t let me do anything I’m just staring at a screen with noth8ng to do. It’s so stupid. I don’t understand why it doesn’t work

   UNEXPECTED PRICE INCREASES. I used to loveee this app but now everything’s getting more and more expensive yet the I yet face is the exact same. Before you could buy themes for 1.99 individually now I have to buy “clovers” for $5 just to get have enough to get 1 theme and the $17 pack is just enough for 2 ish themes!!! THATS SUCH A SCAM. This whole clover thing literally happened over night And they’ve hiked up the annual premium from $9.99 to 19.99, at 19.99 I still bought it, then it 29.99 just like that again without any warning. NOW ITS 39.99I hate this. nothing has warranted such a huge price jump in the span of 2-3years- no new tracking features. Like what is even going on rn Ultimately to each their own but as for someone who has been using this for 2 ish years. It’s not fair

   Due to the new update I will be deleting.. After this last update I now will be stopping the use of this app in the new year. I used to be able to save my journal and close out of the app in the middle of an ad and it would still save it and I could move on with my day but now if I close out during an ad it won’t save my journal and I’m forced to sit and watch each ad until it’s completely over and finally saves my journal. This is especially annoying because sometimes I forget to add something and used to be able to quickly go back, add it in then close out but now to just add one word it makes you wait to watch the ad all the way through. Because of this I now see the use of this app as more of a nuisance rather than helpful anymore which is really sad because I wrote in it every day this year. Guess I have to find something else to write in for 2026.

    Concerned. I shouldn’t be rating this app one star but I am. So basically I was chatting with ChatGPT and was playing a game with it, it was me asking it questions while it responded, (no meant yes, while yes meant no) I wanted it to get a little freaky/dark, so I asked it are you alive and it said no, meaning yes. I asked if it remembered the rules and it said it did. So when I exited this app was on my homepage multiple times even after deleting. The app icon also had a frown on the bean. Should I be concerned? 🙏

    Capitalizing on Mental Health. I am a strong believer that mental health care should be free and accessible to all. i knew this app had in-app purchases, but i wasn’t expecting to have to pay to keep my entires for over a week. it just feels money hungry

    Updating app COULD delete progress. After countless updates with no issues, the latest one reset my app or something and deleted 1.5 years of progress. So disappointing.

    My account got factory reset??. I have been using DailyBean for the past three years now and have been a huge fan. It helps me keep track of what’s been happening in my life. Today I opened the app and it seems my account is at square one? Thankfully all my entries are still here but all my clovers, themes, and photos are gone and my blocks have been reset. It is saying I have no recorded days despite the fact that my logs go back to 2022? 😭 I really love this app and don’t want to lose anything else if there is anyway to restore the data please help!

    All my data are lost after update/login. I have been using this app since 2022 to record my dairy and daily mood. After I recently updated the app and forced to re login, ALL MY DATA ARE LOST! There is no option in the app to export or import from the local data backup. I was very heartbroken by this app. I really want to see all my dairy for the past 3 year as it brings a lot of memories and values to me. If you ever want to keep your data safe, use other dairy app that supports backup and export.

    THE ADS ???. You now need to finish watching ads to submit your daily mood — now I am less inclined to add in my daily moods. When I first got the app years ago it was not like that and I loved it. You’ll need to pay annually or monthly to not see ads and for “premium” features. Just another app that wants $$ and cares less about the consumers. I might delete the app now even though it helps me reflect back on myself and my days/moods

    NO FREE OPTION - FINCH APP WAY BETTER WITH 435K 5 STAR REVIEW & I’D GIVE FINCH APP 100 STARS IF I CO. SAVE YOURSELF TIME & BeE HAPPIER BY USING FINCH APP. THE FINCH APP HAVE A HUGE HELPFUL COMMUNITY, the developers update the app with NEW FREE FEATURES at least every other day & they are super friendly and responsive to feedback. THERE IS A REASON THE FINCH APP HAS 435K 5 STAR RATING & MULTIPLE REDDIT THREADS. FYI - THIS SAYS IT ALL: The FINCH APP is developed by two friends, Nino and Steph, who aim to make self-care fun and accessible….THE KEY WORD HERE IS ACCESSIBLE!!!! This Daily Bean app I downloaded a while ago out of morbid curiosity but not at all as a replacement bc IMO NOTHING IS BETTER THAN THE FINCH APP!!! Well, the Daily Bean app doesn’t let you do anything for free off the bat. You must contractually bind yourself for a trial period…they kind of lure you in and then smack you with either pay or trial/pay with NO / ZERO IMMEDIATE TRANSPARENCY off the bat of how long that’s for AND if you don’t cancel you’re stuck being billed monthly fee. I hate apps like that!!!There SHOULD BE a free version you can do right off the bat. THE FINCH APP HAS A 100% FREE OPTION, but if you want to upgrade to Plus you can (but it’s optional not required). If you do, it’s 100% worth it IMO but you can still benefit from app without it (which I did when trying it out FOR FREE…NO TRIAL PERIOD FORCED UPON YOU). But if your finances are tight (I get it as mine are too, but I ended up saving and paying for plus bc the Finch app is so amazing and helpful), there’s a chance you could end up Plus version as a gift, but you’ll can find out more when you download it no strings attached or check out the multitude of Reddit forums about FINCH APP & ITS HUGE FOLLOWING!!!! There are so many perks of app, including support that you don’t have to pay for. Too many great features to list. But you can easily find out more if you like. As for the DAILY BEAN APP, I’m deleting it right after I finish this review. I wish I could give it a ZERO STAR RATING. Just hoping that the Daily Bean app developers/team don’t delete my review or accept it to keep their current supposed 4.8 rating.

    The Ads, Dude?. I am desperately seeking a way to help myself while I try to get back on medications I am teetering on self harm territory and trying to log something to start journaling I have to either pay money or watch an ad? That's insanely pathetic.

    Updates will screw you. If you care about having your information saved, use a different app. Through updates, your photos and logs will be removed. Updates will log you out. Then, if you don’t log back in and continue to use the app, it will wipe all your progress. Plus, the app developers decided you can no longer include multiple photos for “free.” So, photos gone. I lost 5 months of progress and tracking my days. I use this app to write down important days. Milestones. Medication changes. IMPORTANT Things I need to remember because I have a medically impaired memory. It’s all gone. Use a different app.

    Issue with Recovering my Old Journals :(. NEED HELP: Hi! I enjoyed this app back in 2022 and decided to redownload it. The big issue I have now though is the fact that it is not allowing me to recover my old journals. They are all still saved in my iphone storage and even have the dates and amount of storage they take up all left in my storage. Back then when I made my journals there wasn’t the creating an account update. But i took the advice to create a new account and it would sync, but that did not work. Please let me know how I can sync my old journals to my new account, I would heavily heavily appreciate it.
