   Reminders of hard days is HARD. I used to love and recommend this app to others but now it sends constant reminders to view clearly rough days… I’m not sure why it would do that to but I’m not a fan.

   Won’t stop haunting me. I deleted this app and it continued sending me an alarm every single night at 9pm for DAYS. Through movies. Through quiet time. Through every focus mode I have. I reinstalled it just to find the setting and there was no way to turn it off from inside the app either. Formerly Talkbook, currently a poltergeist.

   Can’t Delete Data. This app is terrible, I can’t delete my account and every time I try to tap contact for help, the app crashes. I can’t get a hold of anyone!

   The new update lost all of my journaling. I absolutely loved this app. But the new update caused a loss of all my journaling from the last year, which is so frustrating I had so many entries that now are just lost. I have tried contacting them but their contact information is not easy to come by.

   ALL MY ENTRIES ARE GONE!!. I had so many entries for the past two years I’ve been viewing my life and it’s been so much fun on talk book and all of a sudden all of my videos are gone because of this new update. And now it is Heartspring Journal. I am so sad and it makes me upset because I spend so much time on this and then all of my videos are gone and my favorite part was looking Back on what I had done previous years. But now all of it’s gone. It makes me just so sad.

   Removed all my old videos after name change. I loved using this app, but after they changed the app name. I lost all my videos!

   Makes you pay now. I loved this app before but lately it’s been driving me crazy because all of my old journal entries that I recorded are frozen and they won’t let me play any of them and now they had a new update so it has a new name and it makes you pay to record any videos at all, which is extremely frustrating. I’m disappointed in this app.

    Was so good before it switch to Heartspring. I love this app when it was Talkbook, I would’ve rated it 5/5. I used it all the time to make talk journals because I want to journal but not have to type or write things down. The update to Heartspring made the talking feature, which was the whole appeal of the app, now a premium feature that you have to pay for. Ridiculous and disappointing. I will be finding a different app to use

    Main feature behind paywall. Before they were Heartspring journal, they were talk book which enabled you to take video diaries. Now they put the video option behind a paywall, which was the entire point of the app. Really disappointed in the developers. Sadly the app has been deleted off my phone. I’m glad I never gave you any money.

    Not free anymore??. I never write reviews, but I used Talkbook a lot to journal and vent because it dictated what I said and helped me self regulate my emotions. It was such a great way to talk and calm myself down instead of writing out those feelings because sometimes you think faster than you write/type. I opened the app tonight to find out the name changed and now it’s all paid even on a basic level for using video?? I don’t think I could use this app anymore because the only reason I got it was to not write or type and it’s ridiculous and so sad it needs to be paid. Will be looking for an alternative now:(

    No more talk?. i’ve been using talk book for a while now I really like the future of transcribing my journals. I saw that they just did an update and I was excited for the new features. Obviously, there would be some pro features. However, now you can’t even do talking journals without being a subscribe member?! that was the only part that made this app worth it and now you’re taking away the best feature and putting it behind a pay wall of $100 a year. I am so disappointed in this company very disappointing because it was a great app.

    Dumb update. I’m actually very annoyed. Why was the app updated, and why is everything locked down in a pay wall? I hate how everything and everyone has become so greedy.

    Don’t get this app. The app has stop working after a couple of months of use I don’t recommend. I was not able to look back on the videos I made and it stopped working. It was a big waste of time and effort.

    Wonderful app, major flaws. This app is wonderful on the features and tools that are available on app. Make video journaling. Very easy when it saves your videos. I try my best to be consistent with video journaling every day, however, for the past two months, I’ve been struggling with having my videos, being deleted, or not saved, even though all the proper actions were taken to do, I have contacted the developers multiple times via email, and yet to receive a response. This app would be perfect if you didn’t continually lose my data, this is great if you are sporadic, and just wanna capture cute in the moment, journaling however, if you intend to be a devoted video journalist, and report to yourself every day, I recommend using any other app

    Dictation doesn't work. I have an iPhone 11 I'm able to dictate and every other app and for some reason this one says that my phone does not allow dictation try upgrading my phone

    This COULD BE such a great app. I love everything about this app. I intended to keep it and pay for the subscription indefinitely, BUT IT KEEPS DELETING MY ENTRIES! Every single day I lose at least one recording and it has gotten to the point that I can’t continue. Every phone notification causes the recording to pause and start over. Sometimes after recording a long video it just deletes itself. I’m so beyond frustrated.

    Bug fixes. Sometimes after recording a journal I go to pick the cover pic and the whole app freezes . Also currently got the notification reminder to do my Talkbook and then the app is stuck on the Lock Screen .

    Do not get this app!. This app is horrible. Do not get it. I have recorded every single thing every day for the past few months it had been telling me they were recording and they were showing up today. I tried to click into it and it did not click. It said give me a few more minutes. I gave it about seven more hours and I didn’t do anything. Do not get it unless you want just the summary.

    Deleted all my journal entries. I usually love this app but logging in after updating my app, all my entries are gone! It made me sad because i couldnt see how i once felt or anything. Will be deleting now. Very disappointed.

    Can’t even add a phone number. I tried adding my American phone number, my Taiwanese number adding the 1 or the 866. NOTHING IS WORKING why make it so complicated 😭

    Disappointed. I really wanted to love this app because I struggle with journaling through writing. It’s a great concept but struggles with execution. The app is SO glitchy and is constantly crashing or not remembering to save my recordings or just saving them under the wrong date. It is SO frustrating! Switching apps asap. Updating after a future update and holy… it’s even worse now. They made the app even more unusable.

    All content deleted :(. Loved this app for so many months, but due to a recent update, ALL my videos were deleted. I had been using the app for months and saved so many videos and entries that were deeply important to me. The help team has not been very responsive, unfortunately. I love the concept of the app but clearly there are some major bugs. Proceed with caution!!

    Bugs, need help :(. I am not sure what’s wrong when I downloaded the app. I can’t record anything, I push the button and it automatically closes out of the recording and says I can’t record a video less than three words…but it doesn’t even let any time go by to say anything? When I clicked to get help in settings, the app crashes. I have deleted and downloaded the app numerous times and looked at permission settings to make sure my camera and microphone are on but it seems like nothing works. Please help!
