Now the app is updated and I have no access to the lessons anymore. The only option is to buy monthly subscription from the updated version. They need to honor the purchase.

   Paid for subscription but account not activated. Over 12 hours later, still no access. Only way to reach out to them is the slow way via email. They take the payment but cannot deliver the product. Seems like a scam!

    You need to pay for most things. I got this app to help me learn Chinese, but everything is locked behind a massive paywall. I was told that it was better than Duolingo, but asking for $14 a month is quite a hefty price to use the app. I am very disappointed.

    Misrepresented product - it’s another ripoff. I paid for this app because they advertised I could download the content and use it offline. This functionality doesn’t exist. It’s not possible to ge toast chapter 3 in the app. It’s a complete ripoff. Their “support” option takes you to a Facebook page. Sorry, I don’t own a Facebook account. So it’s useless. Furthermore, when I attempted to get email support this is the result: Address not found Your message wasn't delivered to support@chinese-skill.combecause the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive Poorly done and an expensive mistake on my part buying this app. Don’t make the same mistake.

    THEY WILL HACK YOU & STEAL!!. I tried to make a purchase . The payment process has a link that sends you off-application to an unsecured website where they hack you and steal all your logins. Bank accounts, emails, F.O.I.D login, everything. Had to freeze accounts and change every password.

    Cut off. They cut you off. And you have to pay after hello and goodbye and what country are you from and mother father sister brother. It’s not worth it. Go online and learn on your browser. They don’t charge that much to learn english. The Chinese language is not better than anyone and English classes are given for free. This is exaggerated. And they ask for five start before you even know that they’re gonna charge you. No good. Almost like a scam.

    Hit the paywall. I’ve used this app for over a year and recently installed the update. Big mistake because now everything not in the old course requires a subscription (including lessons I’ve already done...). Wish there was a way to go back to the previous version before the update

    Lost progress. I accidentally clicked on some thing called level up and Took me to any offer to purchase a annual plan which I declined. When I backed out I could no longer see any of the sections of the app that I had been trying to learn and have lost all my progress. I was struggling a little so I didn’t want to buy the annual pass yet and now I’ve lost everything so I’m going to try a different app.

    Bug when the phone is in silence. When your phone is in silence videos won’t play sound, or you would need to tap on some other sound and then play the video again

    Doesn't work with ios dark mode. In dark mode it's impossible to detect characters because it's white characters on white background. Otherwise good app.

    Bad. This might be a good program if everything actually worked. The pinyin section seemed fine until it repeatedly expected me to choose the correct pronunciation from two empty boxes. Obviously, I couldn’t do this. Sadly, this makes the program useless.

    Needs work. In the pinyin exercises, characters are missing in the boxes where you’re supposed to choose which is correct. The English grammar is somewhat poor in the lessons, which I could give a pass to, but I can’t even complete lessons properly. I also tried some writing lessons. What’s the point in asking how well I remembered how to write a character when I’m not given a chance to write it from memory before you show it to me?
