   Crashing. I have the American App Store, an iPhone 15, living in France. This app is crashing and useless for me - I have tried to re-download. It works for my French friend who has an android, there is a bug.

   Can’t add phone number - can’t join. Your app doesn’t allow for dashes in phone number entry, but it requires them. I can’t move past this screen.

   Horrible app, very little happening. Terrible UX. Very few groups and lots of spam.

   needs work. heylo seems like it’s filling a real need - but it’s just too slow and clunky. chats don’t load quickly , you get a notification for a chat and you open the app it’s not there. sometimes you wait 20 seconds for the app to figure out what’s going on and update your chats. the chatting and messaging experience is really really far off from whatsapp telegram imessage etc. for this reason no one in my friend group uses this for actual chatting. once we have an event we will always make a whatsapp or telegram channel. in those apps you can chat much more smoothly , send attachments and files , uploading and dealing with media is way way better. heylo is fine for high level group coordination but it feels like an app from 2015 when it comes to communication. one star is harsh but the developers have had a lot of time to fix the chatting experience and it doesn’t seem to be a priority

    Pretty good app. Some modules & things are kinda in the way and could be placed better. Not sure if flow was put through user testing. Notifications are a little wonky from a timing perspective. I’d like the ability to put GIFs in the chat. That’s just something users expect from a chat section now. Bring us GIF access!

    Search function needed. This app would be amazing if it had a search function. When in big groups and you miss hey messages having to scroll back is soul sucking. Really wish this was prioritized.

    Updated: free alternative to other group apps. I had a group I’m in set up with Piccup. Overall it’s functional and the messaging is quick and easy. I probably prefer the feel of groupme overall, but have seen that seriously slow down.

    A great platform. Hello is a very helpful platform for groups and clubs to stay connected and to manage gatherings and events. It’s a wonderful tool for helping members stay connected. It’s not perfect, but it’s darn close. I’m sure it will evolve overtime. If you are already a user or if you become one, I strongly encourage you to share your suggestions for how they can improve the platform. It’s nice that they ask for suggestions.

    Creating Community. I can’t say enough good about this app. It’s become our only hub for communication. We wanted to create a community and not just a club during our rebuild after COVID. Heylo has been a “huge” part in connecting our athletes to make that a reality. Also, customer support has been top-notch.

    Using Heylo has been like giving our volunteer-run club a deep exhale.. I coordinate communications for the Lake Oswego Puppy Raising Club, a group of volunteers who raise future guide dogs for Guide Dogs for the Blind. We’re talking puppies, people, and a whole lot of logistics—training outings, puppy-sitting swaps, club meetings, supply exchanges, new raiser orientation, youth protection policies… you name it. Before Heylo, we were duct-taping together text chains, emails, Google Forms, and calendar invites. Important info would get buried, people felt out of the loop, and leaders were stretched thin just trying to keep everyone connected and informed. Heylo changed everything. Here’s what I love: 🐾 It’s one clear, welcoming hub. (And, amen, no more “reply alls” in their inboxes!) 🐾 Leaders get to lead. Instead of drowning in admin work, they’re mentoring, connecting, and growing the club.     Biking Group. Moved off FB group event planning to HEYLO this spring. Great app focused on getting people together, nothing else. Easy to learn and no bugs. Love the simplicity, lack of time sink tendency on that “other”platform. Just plan my event and monitor responses and questions as needed.

    Golf Group. We moved our golf group from Meetup to Heylo this year, and it has gone really well. It has all the features we need, and everything works nicely (don’t think I’ve run into a single bug yet). Everyone was able to figure it out easily, and the chat is perfect for communicating / coordinating leading up to events. Great app & service!

    Group Org Love!. Being able to organize a group within this app has been wonderful and easy to manage. My brain loves organization and putting things into certain types of places and this app is hugely helpful in that.
