   Used to be good.. This used to be a great app up until a couple of months ago, but after the latest updates it barely works anymore. I download files, and when I try to play them, they only play for a few seconds or sometimes a couple of minutes before stopping completely. If I press play again from the phone screen, it starts over from the beginning. The only way to resume playback from where it stopped is to reopen the app and manually select the file again. I already contacted support by email, but so far I haven’t received any response or solution. Very frustrating experience for what used to be a reliable app.

   Display chaos. Has serious display issue. If you added multiple songs to a playlist and play a particular one, it will not play what you want, it will play a totally different one instead. Ads experience is also horrible

   Constant Crashes After Subscription Purchase. Flacbox used to work well for my setup, but after buying the annual subscription and listening a few times, it now crashes constantly. I’m playing songs stored on my Synology NAS with a DAC attached to my iPhone, and the app often quits after a short period of playback. This makes it very hard to enjoy music and reliably use the app with my existing library and hardware. I hope the developer can fix these stability issues quickly so the app becomes usable again.

    ‼️Crashes, Developer Unresponsive, Requesting a Refund 💸. I liked this app—when it actually worked. All of a sudden it just quits after a couple of seconds. And I see I’m not the only one having this problem check the other reviews Reddit and Twitter as well. I tried all the usual methods to resolve a problem like this. Hard quitting the app, restarting the phone, deleting, and re-downloading the app and NOTHING WORKS. Because I hate ridiculous and negative reviews from lazy people, I first tried to contact the developer to resolve the issue. I reached out via email and got no response. I messaged the developer on Reddit and got no response. And then I tried DM the developer on Twitter and got no response. So this is my only option—to leave a one star review that should be a zero star review. If the developer pays attention to these reviews at all: I want to request a refund. The app literally does not work.

    Forcing users to allow data collection unless you pay. This app forces users to allow data collection in new versions and treats disabling it as a premium feature. So you have to pay to not submit your data to google, which is borderline illegal under GDPR. Uninstalled. “Freely Given Consent (Article 7(4) and Recital 43) The core issue lies in Article 7(4) of the GDPR, which states: "When assessing whether consent is freely given, utmost account shall be taken of whether... the performance of a contract is made conditional on consent to processing personal data that is not necessary for the performance of that contract." This is reinforced by Recital 43, which clarifies that consent is not freely given if the user has no genuine or free choice or is unable to refuse or withdraw consent without detriment”

    Looses the file you listen to. It feels like the ads are interfering with the files that you are listening to. After some time the program loses the connection with the file you try to listen, so you loose the progress and have to re-open the file.

    Only OK. This app has a lot of problems. It displays incorrect album artwork when viewing the library by albums, the scrub feature doesn’t work, it’ll stop playing in between tracks rather than just continuing playing the next track like literally any other media player, and it costs way too much. The price went up from like $36-$70 with no improvements to the app itself. I’ve contacted support multiple times about the problems with the scrub feature and the album artwork display and they either don’t respond or they say they’ll fix it in the future but then never do. And yeah like I mentioned you can be listening to an album and for some reason track three will finish and then you’ll have to press play in order for track four to play. It happens super inconsistently and doesn’t seem to be triggered by anything in particular. If the app were free these are the kinds of problems that I wouldn’t really mind but it’s not free. I paid $70 for a lifetime license for an app that only kind of works.

    Great UI. I like the app and how responsive it is but ultimately deleted it because there shouldn't be ads on offline music. There should be respect for offline users. This isn't an Android app where pop-up ads are the norm. I do recommend VLC.

    Great app. This is a great music player for local files!! I like that it has a customizable player interface and no ads interrupting my music. It's got a bit of a learning curve, but other than that, I haven't had any issues so far.

    20 or more frequency band equalizer up to 20,000hz pls?🥲🫶. 2nd review of this amazing app the only app on apple store that we can truely rely on to play lossless audio, not perfect but i think in time theyll be fixed crashes a lot i noticed when handling big lossless files but for lossy its smooth, it would be amzing if we can have 20 or more frequency band equalizer on the app🥲🫶 a little fun equalizer for iphone16promax speaker: set the eq to: 32=-12 64=-9 125=2.6 250=-4 500=11 1k=4 2k=-7 4k=-6 8k=-11 16k=11, (i removed the microgrill on the speaker to let the higher frequecy and 250hz go out better), then play lossless audio or lossless/lossy dolby atmos songs on the speaker,if you know where to get it, and viola you now have a handheld lossless/dolby atmos virtual in your hand!! play music and blow people away that sound is coming from an iphone😂, (this could alsowork for 17,15,14promax) note: volume will decrease a little bit but it will be flat or use the db+ if its not loud enoud. Muah

    Very Solid 😊. Like the app a lot, and use it everyday. However, I wish the free version had more customization available. Also would be pretty cool if you could sort how albums and playlists show up manually, instead of by different categories (Think dragging them around so you can keep favorites at the top)
