   Has problems. It used to work until it didn't. Deleted the App hoping it would fix it, it lost all of my data. Cannot understand how someone develops an App, that if deleted for having problems, the data is lost. USELESS.

   Inaccurate product and calories.. It is basically ppl using the app building the items and calories . There doesn’t seem to be an accountability for accuracy. So I don’t find it helpful when I am doing the research for product and recreating an entry work

   Terrible app. Eato must be based in another country ! In America we don’t eat grams of food . How many ml of a food isn’t relevant . I want to know how many calories are in an apple not cups or grams . Do not get this app you’ll be confused . One serving is how much to them?

   They charge my card in trail period. I downloaded and I was told it’s a 7 days trial My card was charged for whole month and not refunded . Fraud App and don’t work either give wrong calories count for food . Didn’t even recognise food properly

    Do not try the 1-week trial unless you plan to pay for a 1-year subscription!. They will charge you for the year subscription even if you cancel your one-week trial. You will not get refunded through the Apple, even with proof that you cancelled (as I did have a screen shot). One of my messages to Apple finally was forwarded to the makers of the Eato app. Their solution was to let me keep the Eato app and offer me a discounted price on some of their other apps..HOW IS THAT A SOLUTION! I just wanted my money back for the charge that I did not authorize. BTW---I tried the one week trial because I was skeptical that this would actually work...and, as I thought, of course it doesn't! Think about it...even if it identifies yogurt (which if it is plain yogurt alone in a bowl, identifying it would be a guess at best, but with berries and granola at least they can make an educated guess based on context of the foods it is paired with...still, it cannot know if it is regular, light, Greek, plain, etc, which vary in caloric content. Needless to say, nothing I tested it on was even remotely close. If you trust it, don't complain when you have to buy some new jeans in 6 months because the app is giving you false information and you are believing it. DISHONEST COMPANY because they charge you for subscription WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION AND YOU WILL NOT GET BACK, also HORRIBLE PRODUCT because it does not deliver on doing what it says it can do. DO NOT DO THE FREE TRIAL UNLESS YOU PLAN ON PAYING FOR A YEAR SUBSCRIPTION THAT YOU WILL LIKELY DELETE OFF YOUR PHONE ONCE YOU TRY IT ANYWAY!

    Don’t get this app. I have to manually put in most of the food I eat. Other apps that I have tried have been way easier and I just can scan barcodes and it brings up all the information. This app, when I scan, doesn’t know any of the foods. I’m getting kind of sick of manually typing in everything. And the ai scanner isnt great hardly ever gets its correct with what I’m eating. Really not worth the money. I would not suggest this app to anyone

    None of my items were accurate. Signed up for trial. None of my items were accurate. Ie: almond milk. The only portion was “container” which was a huge container. Same for the other 3 items. Also the code scanner is very poor.

    App is not geared to US system pets and measures. it’s difficult to work with this app because it uses grams and ML’s. I need an app that used cups and ounces and it would be wise for you to be able to offer an app that the US system of pounds ounces cups etc

    Don’t purchase. The app doesn’t perform as advertised & keeps breaking down. Support fixed one issue which worked for one day. No response to second and third tickets I opened with that same and other issues. The percentage is in the app. Don’t even add up to the summary. Hard to track with bad information. Also doesn’t interface well with my IPhone.

    Regret. Horrible…inaccurate measurements and search option not finding food items. With its inability to record information correctly, it is basically useless in its purpose. Total waste of $39. Using Lose It now and loving it.

    App Doesn’t Work, Wasted My Money. I bought a 1 year subscription and after 3 months the feature that lets you log your food stopped working. There was no way to input what I was eating, so the app basically became a step counter. I contacted Eato support multiple times and sent screenshots of the problem and all I have received is automated AI responses telling me to update the app and force restart- which I have done. It seems there is no way to contact the company and resolve the issue, and there is no way to get a refund for the subscription through the App Store, so it’s basically a total waste of my money, which is disappointing because when the app worked for 3 months it was helpful, but 3 months of a 12 month subscription is unacceptable. I would warn others that there is very little recourse if there is an issue with the app, so be careful.

    Used to be good. Ever since the update, the AI scan has become horrible. You take a picture of anything and it either gets stuck at 99% or it says you have to retake the picture. It used to be helpful, but now it’s unusable

    Was working great, now, not so much. I have been using the app for a few months with satisfactory results. It seems this latest update took that away. I can no longer perform an AI scan as it errors out.

    Stoo the Quiz Format!!!. I wanted a calorie counter. I didn’t want a ridiculous quiz system. If whoever designed your app wanted to turn people off of using you our app, then give him a raise. Otherwise, stop asking the quiz questions and move that guy off of your UI team.

    Free trial scam. Why can I not cancel my subscription within the free trial period. I am forced to continue the 3 months subscription. What’s the 7- day Free trial good for? UPDATE: i received an email from the developer not acknowledging the scam of not honoring the 7-day free trial. Then asking me to update my review. What a joke. I am still subscribed until end of December even though I cancelled it within a few minutes of subscribing. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM THINKING YOU CAN TRIAL THIS APP!!!
