   This app used to work so much better.. You have to use a Pc for full access to the features. Many photos don't align and fail to upload, but it takes so long you don't know it didn't upload until days later. Hard to keep track which ones to redo. Can't upload existing photos from gallery or screenshots.

   Constantly asks for write a review. The app has trouble recognizing picture receipts.Additionally it continues to ask you to refer or write a review or some advertisement and I paid them a yearly fee just to use this app

   Support stinks. I have tried multiple times to contact their support staff with no answers on any of my requests. Going to contact my credit card company for a refund.

   looks good, but.... I tried to use this app, but it requires you to register your “profession” in order to get started. My profession (Senior Living, or Retirement Community) isn’t in the list. Neither is Healthcare Professional, Non-Profit, or any other profession close to what I do. Couldn’t figure out how to get past this so I finally gave up... without even getting to try it.

   Horrible!!!!!. Don’t waste your money. Crashes constantly. I am now using Quickbooks Self Employed Tracker and it offers a lot more for my money. 🎉

   You cannot write a report that is subtotaled by category. I really wish that I loved this app. There’s a lot of good things to say about it. But when you want to run a report, you cannot run one that gets subtotaled by category. It seems like a simple thing, and they didn’t do it. It’s a big miss.

    Want to love. It's almost there but the most crucial thing, a report of yearly expenses by category, is not available. The only report I can get is just a printout of all my receipts. What good is that at tax time?

    IF ONLY THIS APP COULD .......,. This is a good app IF ONLY ... 1. IF , You could Crop your Receipt to make it look more professional ( I found that to look at a receipt I have to zoom in and that’s such a pain if your scanning multiple items or have to fix the amount manually ) 2. IF , There was a option to save the Supplier/Vendor ( some of the items aren’t automatically added so you have to manually type in information which is a pain and the tag feature has categories so I’m not sure why you can’t create a supplier or vendor and save it to use for other items ) 3. IF, you could save your locations would be very useful while scanning multiple items it would save time. I scanned 8 items and had to manually type in locations on each. 4. IF , you could add your own Categories Instead of having to choose from the their list which only has business categories very limited personal categories. Overall this app could definitely be one of my favorite and something I would use on a daily basis . If updated in the future I would pay for a monthly subscription or even a flat annual fee . However as it is right now It seems to much trouble to manually type in all this information. Especially if you have multiple items to scan. The idea of this app is similar to “Neat “ or neat machine or rather has the some of the same features. I feel the fee items listed above would be very helpful and make this app one of the best . (Just to note , I used my iPad to test go this app. So I'm not sure if more options are available on a desktop, laptop or phone? ) There are features I wouldn’t change and that I found very useful, one of them is that you can view your business expense total for the whole year which would be a life saver when it’s time for filing for your business related deductions .( Again more personal categories would be extremely useful & option to save !! ) I like the fact that can export to PFD & CSV , with the tag option you can look up items based on your tag. This is the one area you can create your own categories. Which I found useful . Overall this has some nice features and the idea of this be very useful and something I would definitely use on a daily basis not only for Business purposes but for personal expenses also. However I don’t understand why it gives you the option to pick what is business related,( like the amount or % ) yet doesn’t give you the option for personal Categories or to pick the option personal vs business related ??? I normally don't write app reviews unless it's something I use frequently. I feel that this app has so much potential and can be used for so much more than just to keep track of a few business related expenses. I would use this app to keep track of my overall expenses not only business related expenses for the purpose of filing taxes but I could see this app being used for ALL Expenses in general. You could keep track of health care expenses, day care expenses ,multiple business expenses ect personally I would use it as a budget tracker , mileage tracker, personal expense tracker and so on ..... I hope that this app will be updated soon and add these very simple useful features .

    Simple and uncluttered. I like this app. Just be aware that as of this writing there is no way to obtain individual images of all your receipts. They do have a way to export a PDF of your all receipts but they combine them all into one PDF. This is no good if say you no longer wish to use 1tap and transfer your receipts to another service. You'd have to scan them all again.

    Receipt guy. The app is basic and is exactly what I need to track receipts. Processing is slow and not very intuitive to sort in categories. Also, very limited choices of currency to choose from.

    Good app, but…. I enjoy using this app to track expenses. However, I use it primarily for my medical expenses. There are no categories for Medical expenses so I have to use other business expense as the category. It would help to have some choices for medical deductions.

    Great app but one big bug. App is great and keeps me organized during tax season. However, the latest update screwed with the display colors - On each screen, there’s either dark text against a dark background or white text on a white background (unreadable). I can’t find a way to adjust these settings - Please fix this bug ASAP

    Nearly perfect. I love the look of this app. Everything seems to work really well and it’s a great way to track my freelance work. However, I have one complaint that makes me want to pull my hair out. I wish I could make my own categories for expenses. I can’t figure out how to do this, and if you can’t do it, then that’s a major oversight. Otherwise, it’s great.

    Needs cropping of scanned images. This app would be near perfect if you could auto crop the receipt like most scanner apps. Can that feature be added? Is it coming in a future update???

    Very good but needs some work. This app is very good...but not quite there yet. It’s better than Shoebox. Shoebox does have mileage tracking which is a plus. This app needs to have a user defined supplier field. Whoever enters the suppliers interprets the names differently each time from receipts. This forces the user to make corrections. Thus a drop down pre populated supplier list would make it easier to make corrections. Also, small businesses that resell goods need an inventory category. This is not a business expense on schedule C tax form. The manual receipt entry is also week. It should allow multiple lines and multiple pics. They need to get rid of the annoying tips that show up even on the paid version.

    Tax Timesaver App. Automatically uploads receipt info I just pick the tax category assignment and bam all populated fields are recorded w/o having to manually enter each field into database. Keeps it all stored in the app. No messy receipt piles scattered about last minute trying to beat deadlines already done w 1tap receipts. I love it. Wonderful concept.

    Easy to use. It’s very simple to use and I like it. I just want something that will put my receipts in the proper tax category and send it to my accountant at year end -then he can figure out everything else It would be nice if there were categories for medical expenses, charity etc. I know it’s not part of the profit and loss statment, but it would certainly help small business owners in the U.S

    Adding in personal taxes with tags. I LOVE this app. While it exists for business taxes, I created tags for all of my personal expenses as well. For example, a tag for Medical-Facilities vs Medical-Prescriptions vs Dental, etc. This allows me to use the tags in order to export the data to Excel and summarize and subtotal each tag’s category. So now, I don’t have to keep and file these receipts either!!!!

    Great app. It is very good app and makes keeping track of business easy. Just snap a pic and it sorted recipes for you automatically. I used to use drop box but had to make folders for each different category and it could be a pain at times with a bunch of receipts. This is quick, easy and keeps good records
