   “Free”? That’s a lie.. Word for word, their own product description says “we offer a superior product because we are both free and easier to use.” After requiring my email address to use this “free” app and scanning ONE receipt they showed me my $75/yr subscription fees... They’re liars and certainly not trustworthy.

   What a waste of time. You have reports that have zero features I’m unable to separate report data year to year. I guess nobody thought that I might create a report for specific property that we continue year to year. You claim to have the ability for me to upload receipts and sent over 300 receipts none of which populated none of which were readable costing me hours and hours of time I’ve literally just wasted $12,000 in time inputting that into your software that has zero functionality yearly year so I cannot separate my 2023 expenses specific report from 2024. And you have no phone support and this is now gonna cost me $50,000 in time to navigate

   Not any better than free alternatives. You would think a receipt scanner could stitch multiple pictures together to get the full receipt in frame, because you know, they’re receipts. It also forces you to make an account. Also if you start the free trial, you better cancel it immediately and avoid a $75 dollar charge. Take the free trial cancel it and figure out the app is worthless without paying $75.

   Stupid to require paying to even test the app. I tried to test out this app, but it doesn’t even let you into the actual functioning part of the app until after you’ve agreed to a 7 Day trial. After the trial then you can cancel it or let it auto renew. That’s just stupid.

   Not even close. Scanned a very clear receipt from Rockler that included a discount. The scanner showed the original cost, not discounted cost and showed it the receipt from H&R Block. So not gonna trust this app.

    Shady & lacking important features. Downloaded this app less than 7 days ago to trial. It asked if I’d like to turn on notifications, specifically so it could remind me of when the trial was about to expire. Surprise surprise….no notifications were received until after I was charged for a full year at nearly $50. While this app does allow you to scan and categorize receipts I was also interested in it for mileage tracking which it does but only if you want to manually add each and every trip. Literally no one wants to go that. I’ll still need a new app making this one a total waste of money.

    After updating to newest version. After updating to newest version app crashes every time I try to add an expense using gallary. When I try to add manually it keeps flinching up and down then crashes again. Please fix this.

    Needs improvement for $7.99/month. Scanned dates in DD/MM/YY even though settings were MM/DD/YY. Scanned change as amount charged. Could not recognize about 10% of the receipt vendors. Overall it did not meet my expectations. No easy way to split receipts either.

    Caution During Trial. I’m trying to find a better way to keep track of receipts for tax time. An accountant friend suggested I try this while trying to find most efficient process for my life. I just started using app and must have hit limit on number of entries (not many) and they hold my data hostage and request a monthly fee. I don’t like subscribe models at all! So what a waste of my time. They absolutely should warn before making one’s info inaccessible. I will not be forced to subscribe without any warning.

    This would be a great program if…. This is an excellent program that is easy to use and has many features that make managing expenses much easier. However, its inability to remember filters, page numbers, and sorts after looking at detailed information, makes it much more difficult than it needs to be. When verifying expenses, I should be able to pick out a questionable expense, look at the detail, then be returned to the same location that I started with my original filter, page being viewed, and sort intact Instead, the filters and sort order are lost and the display always starts back at page one requiring numerous key strokes just to get back to where I was before. Five stars if this nuisance gets fixed!

    Problems with the app. Liked the app at first but now when I take a photo of the receipt I will think it saved and go back to check it and it won’t even upload. So now I have to dig it the trash to fetch old receipts. Might have to use another app

    Not so Smart Receipt scanner. Easy Expense is relatively easy to use. BUT the Smart Receipt scanner is not smart. It often misreads the store name and expense total. It often reads the discount amount at a grocery store as the total.

    A well designed App and UX. It is clear thought went into this app and it really does show. The UI is relatively simple to navigate and from early tests scanning an input is simple and easy. A few bugs here and there but they will surely be worked out as the app continues to develop.

    Great for a small business. I have a small business that consists of only two people. This app works great for us to keep track of all of our expenses. Sometimes the smart-receipt tool does not capture all the info correctly so we have to look it over each time we upload a receipt, so don’t just blindly take pictures of your receipts without checking that the information is correct. Every penny counts with a small business.

    Scanning Review. This app is great. One thing that is different from when I had the app on my android is when I scan the receipts on the iPhone the information doesn’t transfer. I have to manually enter the date and cost.
