   Bugs. App used to run smoothly but I’m not sure if due to updates to the app or phone bugs have emerged. When I finish editing after choosing a photo from an album, such as favorites, the app reverts back to showing all photos and not staying in the previously selected album. Secondly, unless it was moved, the slider bar to adjust the size of the border/matte has disappeared and I have to change the size of the border by squeezing the picture. Previously, I slid the bar and chose the size I wanted by moving it to a number. App is slightly less user-friendly than before. Please fix!! Apr 13: New update got rid of extremely helpful features or hid them a little too well. The feature to resize (not crop) an image to make it fit IG is no longer there. And the scroll bar to make borders never returned. Having to pinch an image to resize the border is not very accurate when you want the same size border for multiple edits. Please return these features!

   Bad. Update: Sept 26, 2025 So after leaving this review, I get a response from the company who states that I do receive a FREE 7 day trial. Lol. I bought and downloaded this app on Sept 21. Today, Sept 26, I get an email from the Apple Store that I’ve been charged for $24.99. This company is outright lying!! It’s only been 5 days. I WILL be contacting Apple directly to be refunded! I have the screen shots of the email from this company stating it’s a FREE 7 day trial. And I took screen shot of charge from Apple, for proof. And BTW, I looked again on Apple Store on Polish and nowhere does it state there is a free 7 day trial. Again, this company is outright lying. Don’t like at all. FaceTune is much easier and faster to use. So many parts of this app I simply don’t like. I wasted a years membership. Why doesn’t this app all is a FREE 7 day trial before deciding to pay? I think FaceTune had free trial first. Don’t know why my friend said she liked this app. She also said she uses it to blemish her face out. Didn’t see blemish on this app be able to do that. I did the background if the image. Didn’t allow me to blemish certain body parts. This is THE WORST photo editing app I have ever seen. What a waste. Editing is not seamless. It is actually quite difficult and a PITA.

    Free trial is scam. I signed up for the free trial of the pro version which was supposed to auto renew and charge me after the subscription period but it charged me more than a week earlier than it was supposed to so of course I can’t cancel on time when you charge the renewal date.

    Not working. No easy way to chat with tech support. I had this app on an android and it was amazing. I tired to add it on the newest i-phone and it it closes when I go to create or add a photo. I want to cancel my membership but it won’t allow me in that section of the app.

    New Updates caused more harm than good. This editing app was my ride or die for over 4 years now. Unfortunately, ever since the price change and new updates with “AI” the app’s quality has absolutely stooped. Dont get me wrong, I am very willing to pay a higher price for a good quality app however as of late its been near impossible to edit a photo without glitches. In the past few months ive edited photos only to have them crash, when saving an edited image - said image reverts all edits and saves as an unedited version, when transferring an image from gallery to app the image compresses quality or turns sideways. I really hope this app can change back to how it was soon.

    No. I’ve been using this app for years and idk what happened but whenever I adjust any of the brightness, contrast, etc. it isn’t applied to the pictures. I save it and it’s the same pictures than the originals with no edits. I watch the ads all the way through. It doesn’t make a difference.

    This app can’t deliver good quality photos even after premium subscription. Very disappointing experience with the premium version. The app crashes frequently while editing, which is frustrating enough. Even after spending time editing, when I save my photos, the quality is significantly worse than the original. They look blurry and smoky, completely ruining the final image. I paid for the premium version expecting better results, but it hasn’t improved anything. There’s no point in paying for a subscription if the app can't deliver good quality photos.

    Ridiculous. It’s absolutely ridiculous how much they hide behind a paywall. Disgusting and greedy, if you ask me. I know this rating won’t do much to affect their overall score, but hopefully this will draw attention to their greed. Use Gimp instead.

    App has become useless. This app has become useless. Every time I upload a photo and begin to edit the app freezes and won’t allow me to even click out of the app. The whole phone freezes to the point where I can’t even turn the phone off or move to another app. Unable to close app. Unable to do anything. The whole phone freezes. Need a fast fix because I paid full price for this app.

    it's disguised spyware. when i started using this app a year ago it was excellent feb of this year 2023 i noticed it installed over 30 folders loaded with device data since it has access to our pictures i found out it will not only upload your photo library device data basically everything on or phone while it's also streaming to its own books scene a and account but also uses overlays to cover any windowss and disguise the true UI of the app at that point you might as well run a iphone simulator add the end user thru s vm user beware it's a strait up spyware app that willaccess whatever the developer oars on log device takes south's like at and s make copies of all your logs and the colts it puts on your phone even if you select for it to saveto to icloud instead of device

    Free trial not free. Immediately reviewed a $17 charge for signing on for a free trial, double checked in App Store subscriptions and it confirms it’s supposed to be free with only a $7 monthly charge post trial.

    PLAYS LOUD MUSIC and endless video Do NOT update. users beware if you update it after June 1, 2023, the app changes dramatically for the worse. Videos play when you open it, on repeat, with no way to make it stop (the paid for version includes the headache inducing videos too). LOUD ADS play at the end of each picture edited in the free version. It’s gone from being my go to photo editing app to NEXT TO USELESS. Terrible experience. Too bad. Was going to buy it this week. But the price went up and the usefulness went down.

    Not good. Used to be awesome. Now it’s just awful. Don’t get this app. Look out for other apps that offer more like polish used to. Their recent updates, and functions have changed my entire experience. I used to be really fond of polish now I won’t ever download this crap again.

    Pay $15.99 = no support w/broken app. I decided to go ahead & pay the $15.99 for the one-time purchase of Polish Pro. I have been trying ever since then for the AI portion of the app to work and it works 1-2 times out of 10 tries. It says “Oops. Network timed out.” I have tried in multiple locations around town on both full Wifi and full 5G and still have the same issue. I have emailed the developer TWICE & have not received any kind of reply…not even an automated “We’ll get back with you.” Pretty pitiful customer service for paying the full price!
