   8 bucks a week for what?. So that I can get half-accurate advice on caring for house plants? No thanks- I’ll stick with any of the other apps that give that info for free. Deleting this app and never downloading it again. Way to ruin a great idea with greed.

   Sick of apps claiming “Free”or “in app purchases”. I am so over being charged for an app or tricked into downloading it. If you can only use the app with a free trial then it should state the apps price and not say “Free” or “in app purchases”. it’s misleading and is wrong in every sense of the word. big tech is about money money money.

   Vote of no Confidence. First time I use this app, I took a picture of some broccoli I have growing in my garden. I’m not sure when it is supposed to be ready to cut so I decided to look it up using Blossom and after taking two photos and uploading them, it told me it was cabbage. There’s not an easy way to dispute that you either accept it or you have to go to another page and cancel it out. My confidence level with this app drop like a hot potato!

   Was Good, No Updates. App was initially nearly perfect. Then “upgrades” were made which only made app slower and harder to use. Mentioned multiple glitches over a year ago to someone at the company and nothing has been done. Looking at other houseplant management options.

   Huge price increase. Used this app faithfully for years and they did such a drastically high price increase it’s no longer affordable. No options for simpler plans, and the added tools aren’t even helpful or accurate. So disappointed.

    Once great app changed by greed. I genuinely used to enjoy the Blossom app—before it was acquired and aggressively monetized. At one point, Blossom was a fantastic tool for plant identification, watering schedules, and fertilization guidance for both indoor and outdoor plants. As someone without a natural green thumb, this app was incredibly helpful. I even paid for a subscription because the value was absolutely there. Unfortunately, that value has steadily disappeared. Features that were once free and genuinely useful—like how much to water your plants—are now locked behind a paywall. There are also new limitations on things like alerts unless you subscribe. These changes fundamentally undermine what made the app approachable and beginner-friendly in the first place. And then there’s the price hike. Not a few dollars—a significant jump. Enough to make me cancel and start researching alternatives immediately. I’d recommend anyone reading this do the same, because by the time you see this review, the price may have gone up again. I understand that AI tooling and ongoing development cost money. I’m not opposed to paying for quality software. But this no longer feels like an app designed to help people care for their plants—it feels like an app designed to extract as much money as possible. There is still value here. But at the current price point? Absolutely not.

    Will keep charging you regardless. I tried the free trial in 2023 then cancelled. Saw a charge come through. By the time I contacted them, the charge disappeared. The next 2 years however, they’ve continued charging me. As of this moment, they claim ignorance with no reversal of the charges. BEWARE!!!!

    Never sent reminder. I opted for a one week trial since they said they would send reminders. They did not and they charged me. I’m actually ok with that but I don’t want them to charge me again and there is literally no way to cancel your account or contact them

    Continue to bill. I was not impressed with the app. Told me a plant was dead, I waited a week and the plant slowly bloomed. I canceled the app in 2024, in 2025 they billed me again. I am unable to find a way to get my money back. Apple tells me I do not have an active subscription, yet they billed my credit card. My credit card company won’t deny the charge bc I had a subscription the year before. Not happy at all.

    App stopped working. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP!!! I used the app for a few years and I’ve tried several weeks to open the app so I could see what plants needed to be fertilized, do health checks, etc. I could not get past the opening screen. I used the app for approximately 3-4 years and had over 100 plants loaded in the app. I tried everything including deleting the app and reinstalling it, to no avail. This app is NOT cheap but when it worked I felt it was worth it. I have lost all of my data and I am apparently not eligible for a refund because I didn’t make any “in app” purchases. I recommend this app to several people and feel horrible because I’m sure they are out the $70 as well. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP!!!!!

    Do not buy!!!!. I have to go to my bank and change my card number because they are still charging my credit card. It is a different amount than the subscription I asked for and it doesn’t show up under apple subscription. Somehow I was unaware that I signed up for this but I have not been able to cancel it. Scam.

    Wonderful for a watering amount and schedule.. Update: Been using this app for a year, now have lost all my data and will not be restoring with this app. Cancelled my subscription but with only AI support there is no way to get a refund. The first reason for the low score was also one too many cliches I have encountered. To many times the health determination is ‘over water or under watered’ I already know that, but for the app to not determine which is useless. Also too many ‘opposie we have encountered a problem’ Wonderful for a watering schedule because I have a small jungle in my apartment. There are also cliches with the fertilizer scheduled such as I state 1 month and it gives me an insane status of 165 days???? Now to top this off after I subscribed a year ago, instead of rolling over to the same amount they want to ‘roll’ it over at twice the amount. I have probably a hundred plants and will be transferring information, schedules, and care to a different application I have already started the cancellation of this one.

    $7.99/week?! No thank you!. They have a $99/yr plan which seems more more fairly priced but I absolutely do not get the $7.99/week. That would be $415 a year! Is this a mistake? I understand that lesser termed subscriptions are priced higher but this app is far from being with $7.99 every week.

    Price increase. Your app isn’t consistent with watering. If I water a plant sooner it doesn’t calculate that watering for the next time. And your price increase from 19.99 to 69.99 a year is crazy and not worth it. I’ve used this app for years and this is disappointing. Sometimes it doesn’t even calculate my plants right or keep their calculations as far as water, pot size, etc. I’ll be finding another app to use sadly.

    No thanks. I’ve had this app for years and paid $12 per year. A price hike to $100 is unacceptable. And the fact that I lost access to all my plant data overnight unless I subscribe is also unacceptable. I’ll take my money elsewhere. This app isn’t providing nearly enough services to justify this price hike.
