   Algorithm sucks. Not the best reliable for on time traveling even if you planning ahead a time my hour. Plan for a 2 hour trip

   Never give your money to via. Via does not respect time there’s no reason you should leave 10mins ahead of time to meet your via driver and then when you arrive to your pickup you end up having to wait another 10 minutes while the app is still saying ride is 2 minutes away. In addition when you do get in the ride it will say arrival 10:30 and then you don’t get there until 11:00 this app is bs

   Not worth it!. I never write reviews, but I’ve been having issues with Via for a while now & have to write about it. Last year I used this app to get rides to school, but now I can’t get a ride for the life of me. When I try to get a ride to work, it takes up to an hour & a half to get picked up & dropped off which is really frustrating because it used to not be that way. I shouldn’t have to try to get a ride two hours before my clock in time at work if I can even get a ride in general. Edit: It’s been a few months and I wanted to give via a try again because uber is expensive…worst decision. My driver has been sitting in one spot for over 20 minutes, but if I cancel the ride then I have to pay $36??? That’s actually ridiculous!! Way more than I would have to pay for an uber!

   New fare is bs. I might as well switch to Uber if I am going to be charge $8 to go 7-8 miles away. This is why people should have attended the meeting to address this. Absolute bs

   Don’t download unless desperate. This app has gave me terrible drivers with the bare minimum standards of road safety . I had the worse experience and each time I try to give it another chance it always ruins my week for how terrible the via vehicles are and how bad the drivers are. Again for 3-5 dollars it seems okay but only my last option

   Vans Rarely Available, ESPECIALLY Near Centreport. What’s the point of offering this god awful service if there’s never any vans available? I rely on this to get to and from to work and I have to resort to expensive Ubers and Lyfts because this app never has any vans available. Arlington needs to just get over it and vote the public transportation in because this is abysmal.

   Does VIA read these reviews?. I left a very detailed review of this app & service within weeks of using the service & it was not posted so I’ll try again: Arlington TX is the largest city in the country w/o a public transportation system. Allegedly lawmakers want to keep the riff raft out that public buses bring in. I don’t blame them but the Jokes on them bc I’ve taken plenty of VIA rides here in Arli with homeless/addicts & they smell or have no social awareness. this service is unreliable, you are on their time, support has the comprehension of 10 yr olds, babies/toddlers/small children are charged full price, curb to curb with no direction to get there is insane, drivers are annoying half of the time & treat the vehicle like it’s their personal car listening to their choice of music- drivers pay to rent the van so maybe that’s why but it’s not the passengers fault. Drivers also seem to be partially blind or ignorant-such as yelling “you have to have a car seat!” Literally while you’re holding it? I could go on & on but I have to jump back on the app to try & get to the store for water for my family.

    Good luck. I've used this app before and at first it was an accurate and affordable way to transport somewhere but NOW....good luck getting to work on time or good luck not being carsick. Unless youre not in a rush and you can handle sorts of people in the same van as you....GOOD LUCK

    This not a transportation APP. Rough drivers, music loud, they drop you wherever they are please, I was even dropped 0.5 miles after the destination point. 2 drivers were extremely nice other than that meh Don’t run everyday, nor weekends, neither after 9 pm. The ETA isn’t reliable due to the routing of the drivers, the app itself add stops at its own discretion. Sometimes is almost impossible to find a car in between 2 and 4 pm on weekdays. I got the monthly pass and I have used it probably half of it due to lot of restrictions, no cars, no drivers, service not available in your area even though I’m in Arlington. Don’t get it

    Via Arlington. Nice drivers but horrible customer service and wait times! They don’t answer calls, don’t email or reach back out to you. Good to use if you have time but not if you need to be somewhere quickly. I would not recommend them other than being a cheaper option the other ride share apps

    DELETE APP RIGHT NOW. I’m not sure how it was in the beginning I heard it was better but the way it’s going now is pathetic you would do better walking on the highway than DEPENDING on this app to get you anywhere you need to go. transportation support? terrible Their drivers? even worse & don’t speak English half the time the app changed my drop off location I don’t know how I was dropped off 8-10 min away from work at 2:50 pm I was supposed to be there @3pm I had to wait 20 more min for a uber plus I had to spend $10 on Uber to go 8 MINUTES after the Via driver refused to bring me any closer TO MY JOB Unprofessional everything. You get what you pay for!!! cheap rides= janky services

    Not picked up. Wilmarie never showed up at usmd to pick me up twice. I don’t want to pay for her no shows. I was in the location that app showed me to be for pickup both times. Had to walk to different locations to get a ride

    Extremely unreliable. I have never wrote an app review but this has to be my first. I’ve been using via for years because I have to and I’ve never got a headed over an app like this one. Want to go somewhere in 5 minutes? It’s gonna take 30. The vias are always ALWAYS late and it’s best to book an hour before you need to be somewhere. The customer service does not help and they will hang up on you if you try complaining. Horrible app hopefully you can get a car before you go through the troubles.

    HORRIBLE!!!!. This app is AWFUL. There should be NO reason that after 30 minutes straight of trying to book a ride, I finally get a popup that asks me to verify the ride, just for the app to take FOREVER to verify it and then tell me there is no more room. This happened FOUR. TIMES. I depend on this app to get to work and on MULTIPLE occasions it has causes me to call off of work. As cheap as the rides are, it is still COMPLETELY unacceptable that the app is THIS bad. Fix it or just cancel Via as a whole thing altogether. This is RIDICULOUS!!

    Absolute worst!. Today my driver was 2 minutes away from me and decided to take another rider that was 30 minutes away from me. He turned around and told me sorry “I will be back,” absolutely terrible, given that I requested the ride 20 minutes prior to my pick up time. The drivers always have competition on how many people they could pick up and it literally wastes time. ETA is almost never true because they make other stops. WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS.

    This is a no go. This app and whole system is trash can.Very unreliable you are lucky to be able to book a ride .It’s always loading.Might be saying rides in high demand for two to three hours.Then the drivers sometimes pull up at different spots wait less than one minute and leave costing you a cancellation fee.

    awful. the only reason why i stick with this app is because its cheaper than lyft. the late drivers, dangerous pickup locations, and wrong etas are so terrible. my driver clicked finish on my ride too early and refused to drop me off at my location. buses that come every hour would be better than this nonsense.!

    Glitchy. The app is very glitchy. The info that the driver has is different from what we have. Honestly when I get a car I’ll never ride Arlington VIA again. I’m late to work and late leaving… Where the app tell me to be picked up at is different from where the driver is. So this needs lots of work.

    DONT USE. Literally the worst app ever to use !! They are always canceling ur ride or giving u drivers that are 60 minutes away … and u can never get a via in the mornings no matter how early u get it !! And they have the audacity to charge you a fee because u don’t want to wait 60 minutes for a driver . don’t download if u don’t like getting ur time wasted stick with Uber / Lyft … not worth the struggle.     VIA is getting worse everyday. Times never match, will change on you without notice, takes 45min just to book a ride and after you book it’ll be another 25min wait……. Don’t see this service will ever get it right, I’ve been riding for 2 plus years and it gets worse every day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Terrible service. This service constantly makes me walk down the street no matter what the weather is rain hail or snow! The driver is constantly going to different pick up destinations than what I have on my side of the app! They are late And charge a fee! They don’t drop off at the designated drop off location! they drop you off on the street!I am currently late to work and I booked my ride is 7:30 AM it is now 8:55 AM and I have yet to be picked up!

    horrible. horrible customer service most via vehicle drivers are foreigners who dont speak english and is on their phone scrraming at the top of their lungs the whole ride it is very aggravating. Also they dont drop you off where you need to be the might drop you off a block down or across the street but never where you need them too. But it is cheap so i guess you get what you pay for

    DISSAPPOINTED. Requested a ride this morning and they took my money even though the ride was not available. And I was also charged a cancellation fee for a ride that I wasn’t even able to book? This is very inconvenient as I book my rides an hour before getting to work and had to find another option. What’s the purpose of this if y’all cannot serve your customers needs. I would give 0 starts if I could.
