   Logging on is terrible. Not sure why this problem has persisted for so long but logging into this app requires manual entry or going through many steps with the iPhone password manager. There doesn’t even seem to be a way to enable Face ID. Really amateurish.

   Continues to go downhill. Morningstar’s desktop access has been rebuilt with less functionality YOY since 2019; it’s no surprise MStar is apparently not smart enough to write a separate responsive application for their mobile app. Clumsy, clunky, offering little to the retail investor, it’s apparently designed for MStar employees or something… there are better apps elsewhere!

   Behind the times. This app has not been updated in years in terms of its functionality. None of the search engine capabilities that exist with the web-based interface are on the app. It is very frustrating.

   Can’t even login.. Couldn’t say if the app experience is good or not. All I seem to get is an error message when I try to login. This has been for at least 6 months. Kinda sad. Well, now I can login, but 2/3 of the time nothing will load or it says I don’t have a portfolio. Then logout, close the app, open the app, login, and maybe it’ll work. Time to look for something better.

   Whats ure credentials.. Asks u to log in every other day pretty much. So if u dont have that memorized then good luck. Whoever created the app is a weeee bit paranoid about security….

   Please don’t ignore your app, M*. All of the negatives about this app are true. You can’t really pull up a watchlist without the app freezing. Displaying incorrectly, or the app closing. And you cannot add to a watchlist, unless it happens to he the first watchlist on your list. It just keeps reverting back to the first list. It’s so annoying. It’s like they gave up caring about their app.

   Buggier than ever. Failures to load data, inability to make in-app modifications, and usability issues make this app nearly useless.

    Broken. Login screen encounters error and will not remember your password or use Face ID on IPhone 10X. I have to enter user name and password every time. This error has been present for several months now.

    App rarely works. This app is awful. It rarely works, often fails to load when trying to view your portfolio. Also, accessing subscription content on stocks/funds often does not load as well.

    Getting buggy. I’ve used Morningstar for years and recently it’s been getting buggy by not loading, errors when attempting to sign in to the app, losing data & portfolio positions. They are getting away from what they knew and did best to trying to become a be all and do all for all investors and failing. They need to take a few steps back to review their vision statement and go with their strengths vs trying to do everything. I will probably not renew my subscription if this continues.

    Optum integration demonstrates why you should stay away.. Unfortunately Optum Bank uses Morningstar reports for their HSA investment research. Anytime you try to view more than the top 10 holdings the page crashes and reloads back to the top 10. Tried Safari and Edge. Imagine paying for something and you can’t even use it. SMH. If you don’t have more pride in your service and product than that I would never waste time or money on it if I wasn’t forced to. Please have someone look into why this is so terrible and fix it sooner than later. I wouldn’t be shocked if more people go with Betterment just because of this.

    Data updates. Data updates from portfolios usually update late evening day of market close. Sometimes, as currently is the situation, the update hasn’t occurred yet as of next day mid morning…

    It use to be good. It used to be a great app. Most of the time the portfolio doesn’t update correctly. It’s no longer reliable with ticker symbols no longer reflecting correct closing prices.

    Awful compared to older versions. To focused on portfolio tracking. I don’t need another portfolio tracker. When I log in I want to see market and company news, not a portfolio. That’s not why I buy the app.

    Can’t edit watchlist. Nothing happens when I tap the three dots at the upper right hand corner. Therefore, I can’t edit (e.g. , add or subtract stocks) my legacy or non-legacy watchlist.

    Extremely buggy. Logging into the app produces a generic error message. Same issue I’ve had off and on for years. The app support link in the App Store takes you to a page to doesn’t exist. I’ve never been able to access premium content via the app despite being a subscriber. Clearly the software engineering/QA practices of this team are severely lacking. Please up your game for the sake of your users!

    Portfolio updating is delayed. Portfolios do not update in a reasonable amount of time each day. On my computer I can view daily updates by 6:30. This app doesn’t update until late at night.

    Slow daily data updates. I am a subscriber for 10+ years, and have registered numerous deficiencies in the App. Such as slow daily data updates after market close and thus updating the portfolios I own and manage. Is there a solution to this slow response. I have 5 portfolios that I update daily. I’m talking the legacy option and its more detail d model. The hanks for your help. Mostly Fidelity funds data. It’s 9:40 pm and today’s data is not updated. What lousy performance. Going to look for another app and replace Morningstar. How disappointing!!

    Useless App. I have used Morningstar’s balanced and reliable analyses since it’s early days in 80’s. But this App is a Joke with user unfriendly interface and paucity of useful indexed information. Morningstar should fire this whole team and give the task of remaking this App to 18 years old freshmen. Seriously.

    Slow, buggy, little value. I thought website was slow and buggy but the App fares far worse. Been using MS Premium for 20 years....little has changed for better in fact things are worse. I can not even see my Watchlist value on the App. The Portfolio xray has not been upgraded in decades. Probably time to search for new product
