   No help. I contacted the app services and was told the original Apple ID on my old phone needed to be accessed which was impossible on the new one, making it a sure fee that they get to collect because I had to double pay and cancel the first subscription. In the day of tech I should contact those in charge and get help, not a “sorry we can’t” response.

   Bait and Switch. You get all the way to the point of generating captions before you find out this is a payed subscription program. Way to go Apple Store.

   Slooooow. The app has slowed to a crawl, taking from 10 to 30 minutes to caption 1 to 2-min videos. Used to just take a minute or two. Sometimes it times out and doesn’t caption at all. I use this subscription for my job and it’s very frustrating.

   how can I give this zero stars? Useless app.. Does not do what it claims, unless (possibly) you pay for a membership. It says it will render captions automatically regardless of whether you pay every month, but that’s a lie. It never worked, not a single time. All it did was add a watermark, comically, saying “MixCsptions” on a video that was nothing but spoken content, with NO CAPTIONS.

   Awkward. This app has a very awkward UI. It was not easy to use. They didn’t follow the basics of Apple UI design. Furthermore, its caption editing features are cumbersome. It doesn’t allow changing the beginning and ending times of each caption, which is an important part of getting captions correct.

   10 minute limit. This app is pointless. It only lets you import a video less than 30 minutes in duration, and then when you try to add subtitles it says you need to pay a monthly business subscription for anything over 10 minutes. Does that sound confusing? Of course. It also won’t let me import SRT files manually because my video is too long. This app is trash, deleted.

    Not Free. Fed up with all these caption apps that try to hide their fees until after you’ve edited your video. Only then do you see there’s a watermark and payment required to remove it. A true free trial might have kept me around. Bye.

    Trash: Won’t Even Open. Are you serious? My iPad 6th Gen opens EVERY app. But not your piece of rubbish app. •• Slams shut IMMEDIATELY. And after 15 consecutive attempts within a period of 8 seconds. •• Doesn’t even show you the opening page before it snaps to the closed position as fast as a crackhead flinch. •• Ya might wanna repair this joke — else, McDs has a job for ya.

    Doesn't work. It worked the first time I used it and it was great. Way better than YouTube. But the next I tried to do it again, and nothing. I've tried multiple times and the app says “Transcribing," but no matter how long I wait nothing happens. Hopefully this is just a glitch, and if so I will change my rating.

    Company didn’t honor upgrade.. The app was great when I started using it at the end of last year so I purchased the pro upgrade. It worked great for a few more months and then all of a sudden it stopped working and started asking me to upgrade again. I wasn’t able to restore my previous purchase and I thought that was odd since I purchased the yearly option and still had about 8 months left. So I reached out to support and we went back and forth for about a week but I was finally told that the yearly upgrade option that I purchased was no longer valid and that I’d now have to purchase the monthly option in addition to the yearly upgrade I already paid. I asked again if they would honor my yearly purchase but that request was declined. Needless to say, I’ve requested a refund and am now using a different (and might I say better) app called “Captions”. I recommend you stay away from MixCord and their unethical and disrespectful organization.

    It’s not free. I only downloaded this because it didn’t say it had in-app purchases, but they still want money/a subscription and I don’t have it and feel like my time was wasted since they let me upload it and submit it for translation before the price showed up.

    Deceptive Business prqactices bordering on fraud!!. Dishonest business practice: This app is listed as Free, and when reading the description, you see that there is a pro version. This leads you to wast time downloading the app and then finding out that you cannot do anything worthwhile until you upgrade. Such an app should ONLY be listed with a price tag, and a search in the Apple Store should not include it when filtering for free apps.
