   Do not use Hotels.com!. This company has a 1 star ratings with tens of thousands of complaints because they are thieves. They steal money, never offer services and have terrible customer service!

   1 star. This is the most poor excuse for an app I’ve ever heard of no customer service anything they just literally took my money, even if I didn’t have the option for the return or refund refundable thing they still literally took my money and refused to give it back. I booked through them for an unexpected death in the family so I had to travel and I went through this third party app Hotels.com. Chose not to get the refund insurance which shouldn’t be an option because it shouldn’t be a predatory type of situation and lo and behold find out they were unable to book me at the hotel I was at so I’m out $117 and another 60 some dollars because I booked it on the wrong date and they charged me for that as well. Do not deal with these people. Know what you’re getting into before you book

   Reviews of these hotels are fake and misleading.. This app used to be good : key cash is a joke. Reviews of these hotels hotel rooms are fake and misleading , bunch of trashy hotels getting 8 or 9 out of 10. Can’t rely on this app any lingers

   Haunted and dirty. The outside, lobby, and online photos were deceiving. The mini fridge was dirty inside and around it. It wasn’t a place I’d feel comfortable showering at. We had never experienced a place being haunted before and it was so scary. We heard noises as if someone was hissing and breathing hard…and my mom’s pop bottle looked like it was swatted off the night stand without anyone near it. We asked to be moved to another room and this time on the second floor. We survived the night but will never be back. In hindsight, I should’ve googled reviews before staying here because we weren’t the only ones who experienced paranormal activity here.

   Scam. Trying not to curse but this pos app has you select a date for your hotel (which is fine) what the problem is that after you select the date you pick out your hotel and then your good right? Wrong I chose the hotel and what do you know it’s the wrong date .. why would you have me select the dates for you to switch them after I choose the hotel and then on top of that no refunds $87 down the drain f hotels.com

   Book direct!. Number of guests staying filter does not generate room options that match. Customer service blames the customer for this and does nothing to resolve the issue. Also should stop including filthy hotels that multiple people in the same day didn’t stay at as an option.

   Planning ability. Can not see our vacation unless my husband gives you permission to share and then it’s only for 7 days. I have the app he does not. It’s been a pain to plan through you. Honestly. It’s convenient, sort of, it has to be done together. Can’t be done alone. Weird. Also live chat only takes certain prompts, them won’t let me type unless I start over

    Poor rewards program. We used to use Hotels.com for all our hotel stays because of the excellent rewards program. That however has changed to a program not hardly worth having. Before we found if the price of a room was competitive with the actual hotel site, it was worthwhile to book through Hotels.com. Now it’s the opposite. We’re booking with the hotel itself as we get better pricing even considering the Hotels.com rewards.

    Useless rewards program. This used to be a useful app with a great rewards program. Now it is a waste of time compared to Trivago and Booking.com. I will be deleting it from my phone as it just wastes pixels anymore.

    Garbage Company, you’ve been warned.. If you don’t value your time in any way, shape or form and wish to spend multiple days, trying to change the date of a reservation, you’ve come to the right place. This company has an obtuse change and cancellation procedure. Do not waste your time using this app or working with this company in any way shape or form. I would recommend that you set up an account with each of the hotel brands that you work with typically. Hotels.com has gone from a reasonable company years ago to one that is basically automated without logic or reason. once again you’ve been warned and when you come back here to make a one star review, you’ll reflect on why you didn’t listen to this review.

    Terrible Customer Service. I’ll keep it short. Terrible customer services when trying to get refunds for accidental bookings. I’ll use a competitor instead.

    Inhumane. My flight got cancelled and I tried to cancel within 48 hours and they refused. It was out of my hands and they would not work with me at all. Terrible customer service.

    Many issues from hotel to the app. Horrible. Never using app again. Third party app is bad. Booked a hotel room with horrible ac and couldn’t get a refund. Also when booked, I used my $19+ credit. Instead of deducting the $19 from price of room, it added to the price the amount of the key credit. I paid for room plus the additional $19 in key credits. Paid more for the room - didn’t get the discount and they added the key credit on top of the charge for the room. Room cost much more than a room without using the key credit. And room was horrible. Too hot to sleep. Bad ac.

    A huge disappointment. The hotel advertised an indoor waterpark. When we arrived i was told that it closed on the past Wednesday(we arrived on a Friday). As a portion of the roof had a large hole, I don’t think he was being honest. Multiple elevator banks were non functional. Our room was very dirty upon checkin. We were originally slated for a 3 night stay but checked out after one.

    AI doesn’t help me. This AI system is not working, I’d prefer to speak to a representative as something is going on with system. Won’t find my reservation but is listed as booked on my page.

    Unstable app. It changed stay dates while searching for a hotel moving from original Friday to one in the future and refused to refund once discovered. Plus I noticed afterwards a big price difference between the app and actual hotel

    The place is horrible. I had made the reservation and arrived at 1 am, in the instructions it said that they were open until 1:30 am, I waited 20 minutes ringing the bell and no one came out at the reception, luckily no one answered me because from the reception the place was horrible, dirty, messy with a smell of urine, I can’t imagine what the rooms would be like.

    Absolute Nightmare! Double-charged and ghosted by customer support.. Never trust Hotels.com with your money. Due to a major glitch in their reservation system, the hotel could not see my prepaid booking at check-in. I was forced to pay an extra AED 2,014.80 directly to the property out of my own pocket. It has been over 16 days since they claimed a refund was processed, but no money has returned to my account. Hotels.com's customer support team is completely useless, they keep sending automated template replies and refuse to provide an actual bank tracking number (ARN). To make things worse, they are generating incorrect invoices with credit card numbers that don't even belong to me! Their system is unsafe, and their customer service is non-existent. Avoid Hotels.com at all costs unless you want your money trapped in their broken system!

    You get what you pay for. I must have chosen this hotel because it was cheap, and that’s the last time I do that. There was a smell in my room that I couldn’t identify. It didn’t exactly smell like cigarette smoke, but my husband thought it smelled like hay. Either way it was strong. Thankfully not too strong that I couldn’t sleep. The room didn’t feel clean. It was evident that someone literally slapped paint on everything to make it look good but it didn’t. It looks like someone painted over textured wallpaper because I could see the seam. And there was paint (didn’t look like caulk) around the bathtub drain. The walls, baseboards, and floors were dirty, and one of the towels was stained. None of us felt comfortable enough to walk around barefoot or even take a shower. The breakfast food available was pre-packaged food you could heat up in a microwave. I would never stay here again and don’t recommend it. The one positive thing about this experience was the front desk lady was friendly.

    Not a good hotel. Disappointed in this hotel. Hotel was dirty. Carpets were disgusting and shower looked bad. Carpet border around the wall was hanging off. Was afraid to walk on the carpet barefoot. Mattresses were in bad shape and very saggy.

    BED BUGS !!!!. Hotels has bed bug. I was not able to complete my stay. I spoke with the receptionist before leaving to let her know i would not be staying due to bed bugs. She told me that is not a not surprising they have had them for a while. I asked for a full refund and for the manager to reach out to me. The manager refused to call me and declined my refund even through I did not stay. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had and I never leave review.

    Ruined vacation. Room was very smelly bad odor and their only response was to spray the room. Called around and everyone was booked so we opened the window which helped a little. But to sleep we had to close it because we were on the ground level. The odor came back horrible night of sleeping never staying at a Hilton hotel again

    Updated version of this app sucks. It doesn’t let you choose the today’s date to search for a room.
