   DO NOT TRUST BUDGET AIR. I booked through SkyScanner and unfortunately, they include Budget Air which is a scam company. Look up their reviews. All one stars. I reached out to support and told them not to reach out to Budget Air, and they did the exact opposite. I hardly write reviews, but this is crazy. I booked through Budget Air, only to find out they canceled my flight without my consent the same day I booked it, and then got Frontier Airlines to confirm they issued the refund to Budget Air!? I reached out to Budget Air and get this, they say the airline is lying and then told me to send them my passport photos. I asked SkyScanner support to close my ticket, and then they reach out to me gaslighting me more, “Budget Air said they have your flights with these confirmation codes.” Dude. Literally look up their confirmation codes. They do not exist because Frontier confirmed that Budget Air canceled them. I don’t believe people should have to find this out on their own, so I’m taking it to the reviews. I immediately deleted Skyscanner. They don’t even listen to your requests. They just send automated replies.

   Buyer Beware. Firstly the app locks up regularly. Next if you choose the option for checked and carry on baggage actually getting you the results and not having to pay a pretty penny once you resolve since some of the places they send you to don’t acknowledge it until after the fact. What a scam.

   Keeps freezing. I don’t typically take the time to leave a review, but I’ve honestly been so annoyed by this app that I feel it’s only justified. Every time I try to use this freaking app it freezes on me and then I have to delete it and reload it. the website may be good. The app is a giant piece of garbage.

   Useless. I get maybe one interaction with the UI and the app freezes. Tap an icon, enter a destination, etc. App stops responding.

   New update is horrible. I’ve used this site for years. Always been easy to use new update is not user friendly. And the back button doesn’t work just freezes or makes you start over. Fire the team that did this to your site.

    Bad airline ticket sources - GO TO GATE. Skyscanner does not authenticate their airline ticket sources, for instances, we selected website GO TO GATE to purchase Azul Airline ticket and GO TO GATE website NEVER issues a confirmation number for an Azul flight. Ticket counter agent needed this information for check in, GO TO GATE issues an “Order” number not valid at airline check-in.

    Doesn’t track well. It won’t track what is chosen (direct flights). Instead it tracks flights with one stop.

    Always changes. Whenever you find a flight, when you go to finalize it’s instantly not the same price and they say, airlines frequently change prices but it’s always lower.

    Not what it hyped up to be. I said it’s not what it’s a hyped up to be because if you need a last-minute flight, you’re gonna at least spend $300 on a one-way so if you’re looking for a last-minute cheap flight, it’s not here

    Very efficient trip planner. We needed flights from San Francisco to Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) and returning with an additional stop over in Athens. Skyscanner quickly found the optimal trip arrangement that included a low price, short flight time, and reliableairline. Moreover, Skyscanner offered additional choices for prioritizing shortest flight times (at higher price) or cheapest price (at longer flight time). A fantastic app to plan your trip.

    App isn’t working correctly. Any time I type SEA or Seattle as a location to or from (search flights), the App completely freezes and I have to close the App. When I re-try, it does the same. I don’t have issues with any other cities. I deleted the App and re-installed it. Still freezes. Please fix. Using an iPhone 15 with up to date software & App is up to date

    Broken. The app has stopped showing correct prices, and will not update when searching flexible dates within a given month. It has basically stopped functioning entirely. There is nowhere to report bugs or issues within the app, and support takes you to an infinite drop down menu of potential help desk questions with no way to report an issue. I would not download this app until they fix the clearly major bugs going on right now.

    App doesn’t not work on IOS now. The app is so laggy, I can’t get it to work. I gets stuck and then I keep closing the app. No luck so far. Hope they fix it. I’m on the latest IOS with iPhone 16

    Turned into clickbait. This app was what I would always use years ago. And I always told my friends about it. But lately I hate using it. It always presents a price and then when you click on the flights the prices are way higher. This app has turned into nothing but clickbait. It’s very disappointing.

    Apps shows fake prices. When I was searching for flights in browser verses in App, I saw the price are tremendously low in app and when I was trying to to book, it got all my info and then showed the prices not available! I searched after an hour and still those prices shows in app but not in browser! I would rather use browser instead of APP!

    Unfortunately unreliable. I set a price alert for direct flights from IAH to Montego Bay Jamaica on December 30 departure to January 5 arrival. At some point Skyscanner lost track of the only direct flight on those dates which is United airlines from those destinations and it didn’t inform me about the price increase that was happening because it no longer even shows that flight or any direct flights for those days. I found out the hard way that the only reliable way to see all flights is to just go directly through the airline apps. The flight has now gone up $300. I’m canceling my trip because of this.

    Caught them stealing cc number. My credit card number was stolen twice in a row using this app. The first time I had to get a new cc but the second time I was ready for it and caught them: I know for sure that it was the transaction on this app, specifically, because I used a cc number that was unique to that transaction. Update: the developer of this app responded stating that they don’t take responsibility for the credit card issue because they are not the ones directly processing the payments. Maybe that’s legally true, but my observations are still what they are, and I left this review to warn users about the problem, not to make any claims about who is technically liable. In short: If you use this app, then as far as I can tell, there is a high probability you will get your cc number stolen. Good luck out there everyone

    Not Reliable. Prices mentioned is this app are not reliable at all. It takes you to other travel websites and by the time you reach to that particular web site( within few seconds) the prices are changed. At first I thought it was just by chance but in reality it is very common on this app.

    Help! I’m stranded!. First time booking through this app. It suggested a flight with a layover. The layover required me to go between terminals to get to my next flight. Skyscanner messed up by even suggesting this flight. There was NO WAY I was going to make it to the other terminal with the time I had. Now I’ve missed my flight and neither airline will refund me or put me on a different booking because neither believes they’re at fault. So now I’m stuck in the layover city with no flight to my destination and no way back home. Thanks Skyscanner!!
