   CONSTANT prompts now. I used to LOVE this app, but I can no longer stand to use it because if you don’t want your data tracked & sold, it prompts you practically every time you click on something! I have a PAID version, so if I tell you once not to track, you should respect that and not continually ask me to the point that the app is unusable!

   I’m disappointed. I’ve had this app for more than 10 years. I purchased it so I could have extra voices. I haven’t used it for a couple of months and just realized all my voices are gone. It’s just not as funny in American English as it was in British English. And where did the women’s voices go? Not happy. No response from the developer. Thinking about deleting it.

   Not Any More!. A developer, Byzantine has taken over this formerly hilarious app. Now, you have to approve an agreement to sacrifice your privacy, search results, website access for the developer to pass along for marketing. Yes, you can opt out, but the hoops you have to jump through to block to protect your privacy, just don’t make the effort worth the end result. In this very promotion, the developer says it won’t collect data like purchases, and scroll down and it says they will collect the data but may not use it. This was fun while it lasted, but I’m done with “engagement”. I wanted “weather” with a laugh, but this privacy violation is no longer worth the effort.

   Fun while it was free. Newest update took away all my optional voices and voice settings. Now it’s boring. Sounds like a telemarketer recording. It was fun but I’m not paying for voice settings.

   Where is the data coming from?. I’ve enjoyed this app for years, but now I’m starting to question where the actual data is coming from. Currently in my location it is 90-92° (depending on source) with a heat index 99-100° (again, source). My WTForecast app continues to say it’s 78° with a high of 92 today. Nope. Not even close. Can’t even remember the last 78 we had. Yes I updated app. Yes my phone is updated. Are you making things up?

   Not accurate. Well I really wanted to like this app but it is not accurate at all. Tells me it’s currently raining when it’s sunny as can be outside. I’ve tried to keep it seeing if it was just here and there but it’s wrong nearly every day. So disappointing bc it was fun.

    Users shouldn't have to jump thru hoops to opt-out. I had used this app for years. Today when I opened it, I was given the choice to accept how they use and share my sensitive personal or opt-out. However, in order to exercise my opt-out rights or deletion rights, I'd have to provide my device ID. I def will be looking into whether this is a regulatory violation or not.

    Use to be good. This app was my go to weather app but for some reason the profanity has disappeared even though I have it set to R.

    Deleted after many years. Lately there’s been a notice popping up allowing me to accept or reject the data privacy policy, and every time I kept rejecting it. Today it was forcing me to accept it in order to use it, but I could “go in and change the settings to shut it off”. The point is when I say yes, whatever data they have ready to go can now be used, even for that split second, and it’s becoming increasingly clear that unless you give them your data, they don’t want you to use it. What an awful company!

    New Privacy Opt Out. New privacy opt out definitely is set up to make you think you opt out but really you’re still in. If you click the two opt out links you’re still presented with an accept button. Piss off.

    Great AP, we’ll if you like being tracked even. I like the AP however recently you have to agree to be tracked or opt out which trying to do through outlogic, they make it so hard to do so or gives you such a run around in order to do simply say “don’t track my activities” but lack the ability to be customer friendly. I have other apps that are more friendly to use that I’ll be relying on with better customer service.
