   NO!!. If you change Internet providers you might as well throw this thing in the trash. Second Ambient, changed to Starlink and now nothing. Split the 2.4/5.0 as instructed, nothing. Ambient has ancient coding, not changed since dial-up internet. Don’t waste your money.

   No more graphing in the free app. AWN has now turned off graphing of historical data if you use the app without a subscription. We’ve been using the app for years for free and found the graphing function helpful for informing us when our jacuzzi heaters are on. Now AWN wants our money to get that information.

    App Will Not Allow Address Correction.. I set up the weather station. I put in the street it is located on. The App confirmed the location. It now shows a different street two miles away. This Apps AI needs correction. No easy way to update my account or remove my account. Not a user friendly App.

    This app is awful. It’s the worst user interface I have ever seen. The customization options seem to be created by someone who doesn’t realize that iOS came out way back in 2007 and has evolved since then

    No Dark Mode Option???. Most apps today…including your competitors in the weather app space have a dark mode option. The all white and bright only mode is terrible when checking my stats in app after lights out. Please add a dark mode option in your next update!!

    You need to pay to reorder tiles. Decent app, but they decided to make subscribe to their premium service to reorder tiles on your dashboard. If that’s the best they can come up with for a value add, it says a lot about the company. If they’re that desperate for income, they probably won’t be around in a few years and you’re going to be stuck either finding a replacement or hacking together an app or home automation to access your data. These devices aren’t cheap. I used to love mine, but will now be looking for a replacement. I honestly recommend you do the same. One star, I’d give it a zero if I could for holding basic functionality hostage. What a rip off.

    Reordering Tiles Costs Extra?. I have had an ambient wx station for years. I should not have to pay any additional money to look at MY data from MY weather station in the app. I was flabbergasted to discover that a simple reordering of my tiles required a paid upgrade of the app.

    Buggy and getting bloated. Gave up using the application and now just access it via home assistant. This is a shame as the application was nice. It’s just getting too bloated with trying to upsell and doesn’t work half the time.

    App less usable with freemium model. I have to pay $50 per year to change the order of the data points in the list view? How is that a premium feature? You’re intentionally making the app less usable so you can try to make some more money on subscription fees. I don’t mind paying a yearly fee if there’s real value in it, but this is just stupid. Now I have to scroll through a bunch of tiles before I see the data I care about.

    AWN App. I wish there was an option to simply match the view on the weather station. Also the indoor temperature and humidity are no longer displaying. The method of displaying data from local weather station has changed and is extremely awkward and non intuitive.

    Going the route of weather underground. Was previously not tied to a bunch of third party SDKs, and lately been seeing huge delays for this to start. A little investigation showed that google tag manager, google analytics, crashlytics, app-measurement, and mapbox events were all trying to phone home to the data brokers. This combined with the nag screens for paid services has made me decide to purchase a tempest device. Ambient - we purchase your hardware to provide you free weather data which you can use/sell elsewhere, stop trying to bleed every last cent from your customers by selling advertising data and silly subscriptions. It was refreshing when I was able to get off the money hungry spyware weatherunderground, unfortunately you’re making the same mistakes as they did.

    Latest update breaks last 7, last 30 and other views. When it works I like this app. Bad timing to break everything in graphs except for viewing the past 24 hours. Who is going to upgrade to the new AWN+ if you can’t even keep the basics functional?
