   Shady privacy practices. Privacy policy states that they sell your information to third parties. good luck trying to opt out or close your account in their murky website.

   Not helpful. Wish the radar were better and extended more than 2 hours out. But wait, maybe that’s why they can’t forecast weather more than 2 hours ahead. This app says one thing, and another app says something else. We don’t know what the weather is like until you look out the window. I say we forecast the weather ourselves, we’d do better. Do not recommend.

   Just use the default weather app. Innacurate most of the time & littered with ads, the base app has neither of those goofy issues

   Why the sign in page now. Never had to make an account for this app and would just open it and it opened and gave me my local weather. Now it wants me to sign up. Don’t need another app that I have to make up a password. Will be deleting if you don’t go back to how it was

   Home screen is an abundance of wasted empty space. App should allow removal of empty placemarks for favourites. Tone deaf developers. Decades of complaints on Android to provide portrait mode. Finally they added it. They removed seasonal daily air quality forecasts and sports. Overall it's a terrible redesigned app. weather data isn't bad — not good either. lots duplication of names for weather stations but are at a different location. Maybe it's time they shutter their service.

   Inconsistent operation. Was great until ads became the app’s primary function. Ads often block the app from launching, essentially making the app useless.

   Depressing app with lack of filtering for notifications. I gave them a chance to fix this, contact support, but no answer. Not enough filters for notifications. I do not want to see child deaths from hot cars anymore and a host of other depressing stuff no where close to me. I know it happens, I’m a responsible parent, people suck. Deleting app. Let me know when you provide abilities to filter them out.

   Inaccuweather. This used to be decent. A few years ago they did a redesign and now my in-laws dog is better at predicting the weather.

    Ads over performance. Tornado warning is going off, cell coverage is sketchy, pull up the radar on AccuWeather: it’s loading ads. Make a buck off someone else’s eyes! DELETE

    AccuWeather Now-Live. Trying to watch Live is impossible constantly starts and stops. Not only that when the forecasters are talking and showing what is going on with the weather they get cut off with a commercial by the time the commercial ends the forecasters are done then they break for national weather forecasts. CANT WATCH IT IS WASTE OF. Thinking about deleting altogether.

    THEY HAVE RUINED THIS APP. It doesn’t even load anymore, and it’s chock full of forced ads that take up the entire screen.

    Pay for premium+ still see ads. I hate the news part of this app - I want to actually get weather news. I can never zoom in on photos of weather maps, the videos are always slow to load and you can’t scroll them, and now there are ads all over the paid version. What the heck is going on!?!?

    Horrible - Won’t Load. I used to only use AccuWeather for severe weather or everyday checking of the weather, but the last several weeks, the app won’t even load. It makes it difficult to know what’s going on during the “severe weather season” that we are in in Louisiana.

    Exploiting tragedy to Drive traffic. “Three year old dies in hot car in Alabama” AccuWeather, are you using iPhone notifications of tragedy to increase clicks on your app? I have used WeatherBug (for ease of use) and AccuWeather (for accurate precip and storm forecasts) concurrently for 5 + years, ever since deleting Weather channel because of their pattern of posting similar “weather news”. Deleting AccuWeather today for the same reason.

    Used to work great but now….. Can’t even get it to open have all bars and I’m online and just won’t open. It’s updated but what the heck it’s been happening like this more and more frequently. I don’t know what’s going on

    Too many ads. This used to be a fantastic app. Now it’s nearly unusable because of the amount of ads. I constantly have to click between the forecast, daily and radar in order to clear the ads so I actually look at the weather.

    Bloated garbage. Not straightforward to find things like specific maps, full of freemium add-ons. Just not a simple weather app like wunderground.

    Used to be great….. Every single time you try to use the app it never wants to load and open it freezes instead, and the ads being added just made the software even worse. I used to love this app but now I am so close to finding a new one for the weather because this one no longer works properly and hasn’t for a long time.

    When it works…. Pretty good when it loads. Lately, it flashes and displays a blank screen. No update available. Force close it and that still doesn’t fix anything. Pretty worthless now.

    App is now useless. Latest update has killed the app. Now you have to pay for information that was dodgy enough when it was free. You might as well just open a window at this point and stick your head out. There are other apps/widgets that work just as well with fewer ads.

    Horrible update. The prior versions were mediocre, but the latest update is horrible. If you want to find useless ads this app is for you. If you are trying to quickly check the weather then look elsewhere.

    Pinterest Ads. Every time the app is opened an advertisement from Pinterest pops up and displays a fake “X” to close out of the advertisement because when you click on it, it takes you to Pinterest. The real “X” is purposely delayed and shows up a few few seconds later to confuse the app user. This should be reported as it violates advertising policies as it’s deceptive to the app user.

    Worst. Used to to be a top notch weather app. Radar was one of the best. Nothing good about this app anymore. Needed to walk the dog. It’s pooring rain on me right now! I checked the weather app. Didn’t say it wouldn’t rain. Stupid app wouldn’t load to tell me. Took my chances with the Apple weather app and stayed close to home. Accuweather app is a worthless piece of garbage. It’s not what it used to be for sure!
