   UGH!. i’ve used this app daily for the past few years. used to be a very nice app- NO ADS. then one day, even though i’ve opted out of tracking, i’m still getting them, and they are annoying. stop them and i’ll go back to 5 stars

   Extremely Buggy. I don’t know what happened, but the app won’t even allow me to input my height or weight without shoving an add in my face. On top of that, the scammer’s “IPhone Storage Is Full” screen pops up. I had to delete this. It’s now unsafe.

   Not Very Acturate. Unfortunately this app can’t calculate your actual BMI. It doesn’t take into account you measurements and how muscle weighs more that fat. I weight 212lbs and I’m 6 foot, but I’m joining the Army and my BMI is actually 19%.

   Was awesome before the pop-up ads…. I understand free apps need to use ads to make money, and never had a problem with the unobtrusive banner ads they used before. But having to wait for an ad to load and go away EVERY time I open the app, even if I switch to another app for just a few seconds, is way too irritating. Especially when it screws up the input fields after you’re finally able to close the ad. I might have even purchased the app for a few bucks or so if that option was offered, but I didn’t even see a way to do that. Sadly, after years of use I will be uninstalling.

   Ads ruined this app. This app used to be fine. Easy, simple interface. At some point they added ads, and now it’s basically unusable. Sometimes 2 ads will load simultaneously, one on top of the other. Full screen ads with tiny buttons that are intentionally hard to tap. And when you close those, there are still banner ads. I wish I could rate this app negative stars, that’s how bad it is. Never using any app by these developers again.

    Not for medical professionals. Our entire facility used this app for calculating BMI’s on patients. We have all since switched because you are forced to watch an advertisement each time you open the app!! Nurses don’t have time for that. Choose another app if you don’t want the ads. We did!

    Use to be great easy app to use. This was my go to app for quick easy bmi calculation but of course they had to try to make more money off it by adding ads . And these are not simple short adds … no their loud obnoxious adds that have to run for a long time before you click out of them. They took a great easy app and screwed it up!!! Don’t waste your time or that’s what will happen you will be wasting a lot of time on the adds

    Audio commercials. I was usingthis in the operating room but now the app has video commercials which does not go over well w surgeons. Get rid of the audio. It was simple and perfect before.

    Disappointing!. I used the free version for years and loved it. It had ads that showed on the perimeters but that was fine, it didn’t obstruct the view. Today I opened the app and a ratings box popped up. I have previously rated the app on several occasions and I get annoyed when any app asks you to evaluate it more than once or maybe once per update. So I gave it 5 stars to get out of the eval process but I left no comments. The ratings box disappeared and I started to enter the first value when an ad banner popped up RIGHT OVER THE VALUE INPUT so I could not use the app. I tried to adjust the ad so it was not interfering with the normal function but I could not relocate it. So I got out and deleted the app and re-installed from the App Store but I got the same results. So I will NOT recommend this app to anyone. I would have given a lower rating but the least you can give is one star. It’s so sad because I really liked the app until the changes were made.

    Pathetic. This doesn’t take into account for sex, build , or anything besides weight and height. As a 6 foot male, this is telling me my healthy weight begins at 135 (18%). At 135 I’d be in the hospital!!! The bod-pod has me at a healthy 18% BMI at 168, a far cry from 135.

    Literally is a lie. This app is a joke. You can’t calculate body fat by literally just height and body weight. It doesn’t incorporate muscle or anything. The 5 star reviews are clearly fake.

    Inaccurate. Pretty useless app. States my friend is overweight while 3 doctors and a nutritionist says she needs to gain 15 pounds.

    Highly inaccurate. My Body Fat percentage is 24% I’m 5’11 245 pounds, the app says I’m over 33% I’ve had my BMI calculated with caliper and tape.. so i started playing with the app.. I put that I was 5’11 and 50 pounds... said I had 6% body fat still. This thing is just a way for the developers to throw adds on top of the screen and get add revenue.

    Misleading. App gives out misleading information and should not be taken as fact/seriously. BMI chart was created in the 19th century by a MATHEMATICIAN. It attempts to tell you your health status (underweight, normal, overweight and obese) using ONLY height and weight. But it is INACCURATE because it fails to account for a variety of other variables such as sex, age, race, body type, bone structure, musculature, etc. Look up articles on BMI from medical researchers.

    Absolutely horrible. It says 6'4" @150 lbs is underweight but 152 lbs is normal. That is grossly under weight, 6'4" should be around 200lbs to be healthy. I know from personal experience. Absolutely horrible app

    No dot in metric weight. You can't enter your weight with fractions of Kgs .. E.g 78.5 .. Because there is no dot .. Either you enter 78 or 79 ..

    Poor layout.. The BMI number display covers the underweight, normal, and overweight text. There does not seem to be any way to switch the gender of the person you want to perform a BMI calculation on. You select the gender the very first time you use the app, but after that you are apparently locked in.

    Does not include enough variables. I wanted to see if this calculator was accurate but since I'm 5'2" and 85 pounds it says I'm underweight. What it doesn't know is that I play tennis, I have a small frame, I have ADHD so I'm almost always jumping up and down. Not only that but I'm a growing teen. If i had to add something it would be more variables

    Adverts throw off formatting. Ads pop up immediately on opening and after the page layout is messed up so it’s difficult to use. The adverts are also spaced out so you can’t put even a single entry in without interruption which is too annoying to continue using after a while. Although the main issue of the way they throw out the formatting really.
