   What happened. My app updated and the app we’ve loved for 6+ years is nothing like it was. What in the world?

   Audio is too sensitive or not sensitive enough. I hoped that the microphone might work but it’s either too sensitive and turns on with any little sound or does not register baby’s whimpers. Did not work for me.

   Latest Update is Horrible. Latest versions have changed the look of the app dramatically and is hard to read. Has been the same for years and changed completely for some reason. Now they are taking away sounds we have used for years for no reason. Truly bizarre when you consider we have used and praised for years and years. Had original at 5 stars. New version is horrible and taking out specific long term noises is crazy. We used the red noise mainly and now it is gone!!! Very poor decisions on the entire app.

   New update is awful. The new menu is horrible. I've been using this app for over FIVE years and was perfectly fine with the layout. Now when I need to set the timer I have to scroll through other options that interrupt my white noise. The car ride (the only sound I've listened to all these years) has jumping and clicking noises that are absolutely intolerable. Fix it. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

   Don't like the redesign. The app was just redesigned with a new menu bar, look, and companion app to download sounds. The new font is difficult to read, the menu is just symbols so it's difficult to know what they mean. And a companion app for downloads? I'm not downloading another app. Time to look for a new white noise app.

   Awful. Don't get sucked in to the "Baby" specific title. The original TMSoft White Noise App is far superior, for babies or anyone else. This app has extremely limited options for "noise," whereas the original has the traditional sounds from which one would hope to choose. Waste of 99 cents.

   Great, but not. This is a great app, if it is the first app you choose. I downloaded this one, and the free version of the relaxing melodies baby app. I am much happier with the other one. It has all the same sounds plus more, and allows you to layer sounds. This means baby can have clock plus piano for nap, mommy can have rainforest sounds for her nap, and family can collectively fall asleep to ocean sounds at night. Overall I am kicking myself for spending .99 on this one, when the other ones free version is ten times better than this. There isn't anything wrong with this app- except that there are much better ones available!

    Don't buy. I should have listened to the other warnings. It doesn't let you shut off the phone without turning off. So basically the light from the phone has to be on if you want the noise. This is basically conflicting with the apps own advise to have the baby on a dark environment.

    Horrific update - avoid!. Style over substance.. the easy to use interface has been replaced by a horrific new one that is harder to use and lacks features...why?! Just aweful, please revert to the old interface

    Terrible update. Used to be fantastic, now the new update as really ruined it. Tried to turn the white noise air conditioner on but turned the rattle on accidentally and woke my baby up! Please revert to last update, far more logical and much better

    Terrible update!. Why, oh why did you mess with this app? The new interface is awful. And the timer seems, now, to have a mind of its own, too. Please revert to the previous layout - it was perfectly logical and user-friendly.

    Great but flawed. I have regrettably just deleted this app as it has caused more annoyance than good. On a number of times now I have opened the app and it immediately blasts out whatever the last setting was without me turning anything on usually making me and baby jump or worse, woken him up! I would love to reinstall if this default on-position is disabled

    Great app but....... Since the io6 update it restarts itself at FULL volume once the timer runs out. So it's now useless untill we get a io6 update. :(

    New update is terrible. Now looks like its made for children you know it's the babies parents using the app not the babies. But worse then the look is the fact it doesn't work the same. The baby monitoring feature no longer works. It doesn't shut off then turn back on like it use to it's just not the same not happy

    Crashes. Using the rattle for more than a minute crashes the app. No option to stop your phone from going to sleep which stops the app (music, rattle etc) It's also free on the google play store so don't waste your money.

    Not a fan of latest version.. Not too happy with the latest version. The previous UI was perfectly fine and I'm not sure why it changed. I can get past that though, it's the fact that they removed the red noise sound that annoys me the most. We've been using that sound for over two years now and it was taken away in the current version which seems silly to have removed sounds for no reason.

    Very disappointing compared with non-baby version. This app is of significantly lesser value than the White Noise app from the same seller. 13 of the 17 ambient sound options offered in White Noise Baby already exist in the White Noise app. What is new are Car Ride (Similar to "Cars in Traffic" in the other), Classical Music (Plenty accessible otherwise), Doppler Ultrasound (The main reason I got this app), and Wind Chimes (which I can't stand to hear, anyway, but that's just me). It lacks the sample mixing capability (but, with so few samples, what can you really do), the ability to multitask while using the app (close the app, the sound stops, whereas the other operates similar to iPod music playback on your iPhone), and the ability to modify certain aspects of the sound beyond volume. The app is not all negative. If you simply want to leave the device in the room with baby, and don't want a call disturbing naptime, there is a "Baby Mode" option, which disables audible alerts and puts the device in Airplane Mode until you close the app. It also has some helpful tips on how to care for your infant. These tips, which are appreciated and thoughtful, are also available free of charge on any number of newborn caregiver websites, medical services, and your own mother. There is also an available "rattle" function, which displays boingy-sounding balls which bounce off each other. When the screen is touched or the device shaken, it sounds like you have candy in your phone. This rattle function disables the white-noise-playback functions, and, possibly, also the sleep alarm and baby-modes. I'm not sure how bubbly-sounding, 2D, bright, shiny, candy-giving balls would help a baby sleep. And the sleep alarm. This function, as designed, will automatically shut off the app. As implemented, it does this, but, when the app is switched out (eg: Home button pressed), the sound stops, but the timer keeps counting down. And if you happen to restore the app after the timer would have gone off, the app quickly displays a "Timer remaining" negative value, and close itself. Very frustrating. At best, this app seems like an early version of the more stable and fully-featured White Noise app. I bought three copies, for my wife, mother, and myself. We all use that version well, and I highly recommend you pay the extra dollar for that app.

    Good. It's good, but if I'm rocking my baby and I need the app to multitask so I can read while she falls asleep. Little bummed I paid for it and it doesn't multitask.
