   Uses AI. The app uses AI. I know they use it for the photos but I am not sure if they use it for the ambience. Either way, the app serves what it said.

   Predatory billing practices - do not get. I still have not been able to unsubscribe. It has been months. You can’t call and messaging them has had no answer for many people. I keep getting charged monthly. I cannot see them pop up on my app subscriptions in my phone and on the website there is no option to unsubscribe. You can cancel your account, but that will continue charging. I followed all the instructions online and still cannot unsubscribe.

   STILL Stops Playing. Have used this app for a long time. After last update, sound will play while app is active, but stops when phone is locked. Also, the screenshots in App Store show a time bar, does that mean it is no longer infinite or will length of time be adjustable. AND STOP REPLYING TO GO TO THE WEBPAGE IT DOES NOT ADDRESS THE STOPPING. FIX IT

   Keeps turning off and all ads. For whatever reason, if you switch to another app or lock your screen, it turns off the sound. The sounds are fine but nothing you can’t find on YouTube. It mostly serves as a platform to advertise their other apps. Literally 75% of the screen is ads for their other apps.

   Do not recommend. I would give 0 stars if I could. Despite never activating the subscription via an email sent when I first signed up, I was still charged, and when I contacted customer support, they couldn’t locate my account (because it wasn’t activated). I had already canceled all my Apple subscriptions in Apple Subscriptions” on my phone including Fabulous, months ago when I first signed up, and my account showed that the subscription would end in November. However, the app didn’t specify a year, leading me to believe it was November 2024 when in reality, I can only assume it meant November 2025. If I had already paid and canceled, why am I still being charged monthly? This isn’t a contract requiring a full-year commitment. If the subscription is canceled, payments should stop. Customer service was unhelpful, despite the app claiming to offer refunds for users who “forget to cancel”, which is misleading for an app marketed as ADHD-friendly.     Where is the rain sound???. Preview shows a “rain on tin roof”. I downloaded the app and there is no such option. Very disappointed.

    Money hungry. This app looks cool and is geared towards people who are probably feeling quite vulnerable. The costs are astronomical and the app is confusing - in my view deliberately.

    Shame about the AI art and music…. This could be lovely, but other apps (and even YouTube!) give me a more bespoke, gentle and wholesome experience. I’d love the ability to remove the background music and just listen to the ambient soundscapes. As a professional consort singer, I can’t necessarily switch off to background music! It also seems that the app’s artwork is perhaps AI-generated, which is disappointing. On that note, the piece I previewed in the classical music room sounded really synthesised rather than played by actual humans on real instruments…

    Crashes every 30s. The App crashes every 30s. It used to work really well but now is literally unusable. And you cannot even send feedback or report crashes.

    You don’t get a five star rating till I have used the app. I downloaded this app as Fabulous said it was free as part of my subscription. I tried two sounds which after a few seconds I realised were not what I was looking for. I then tried to listen to a 3rd and was told I can’t listen to anymore until I give the app a 5 star review . I have used the app for approximately 4 minutes. I don’t give out 5 star reviews for apps I have barely used. I hate this hard sell when I already have a Fabulous subscription. It feels very manipulate especially from an app which is supposed to be about supporting your mental health. Yuk!

    AI pictures and sounds. This app, while free, uses a bunch of AI photos. If they're using AI photos, the sounds are probably AI as well. It's such a shame because the Fabulous app had great human-made art in the beginning at least.

    Too Repetitive Like a Ringtone. The loops are VERY short and VERY repetitive which becomes more distracting/annoying than relaxing. If they worked on lengthening the segments and longer amount of time before repeating the same tracks it would be great. But right now it’s more like hearing someone’s ringtone over and over.

    Please Add Volume Control. I don’t use this app as much as I’d like because there’s no way to adjust its volume independently. When I’m watching a show or listening to an audiobook, I want to keep Ambiance playing in the background, but it’s always too loud compared to the other apps. Please add an in-app volume control so we can adjust the sound without affecting the phone’s overall volume.

    Great but, why can’t I…?. I can’t get the sound to play through my smart speakers or through my AppleTV. It would be FAR superior to hear these wonderful tracks surrounding me at home or work instead of off my lame phone speaker. Why won’t my devices recognize your sounds as music? Please help!

    Not for me. I see what the intent is here, and I was hoping for some ambient sounds to help with certain types of focus and energy levels, but the music was not for me. A couple of the ambient sounds would have been helpful for me, but the musical soundtrack ruined it for me. I wish there was a way to turn the music off and just listen to the sounds.

    Why is there music on the background of each sound?. Nice app and there are so many nice sounds on this app however my issue is, why add music on the background of each sound? What’s the point of “being comfortable in silence” if there’s music playing? I just want to play the natural sound of a cafe or nature or the vibrant city without there music being mixed with it.

    Whole thing is A.I. Generated.. Could use some more features like a sleep timer. It’s a fine enough ambience app and I like the range of ambiences, but after some inspection I found that everything was made with generative A.I.. I don’t support generative A.I. and uninstalled the app immediately, but to each their own.

    Change for the worse. When I began to use the Ambiance app I was pleasantly surprised by how often I used it and the benefits I gained in focus and relaxation alike. I am a Fabulous app user and I loved the way that Ambience integrated with Fabulous seamlessly. Loved it. Unfortunately, I don’t know whether it’s due to updates or a lack there of, but the integration feature is no more. In addition there seems to be a function that now automatically shuts off your sound after about 3 min. Not to mention the interface has always been clunky and as they add features and new sounds you have to dig to find your frequently selected sounds. In a redesign, it would be nice if my frequently selected sounds were readily available or at least easily searchable. Overall I’m grateful for the app and loved using it for a time. but I use it less and less

    Great app, but all of a sudden stopped working. I love this app so much and use it almost every day at work. Lately however, if you don’t leave the app open on your screen, the app stops playing and when you unlock your phone again the app is gone - ie: it is no longer open on the phone. It’s like it crashes. Please fix this as it drains my phone battery a lot to keep the screen on. Thank you!
