   App is terrible. Grey-out band over videos in landscape mode? No-click no-link classes and courses? After an hour of “playing around” with the app (that’s too much time -it’s 2024 not 2006) I’m deleting app and cancelling membership.

   App is just too glitchy. I do like the content, but this is a review in the App Store and the developers really need to respond to problems with the app. I want to use the app on my TV because it’s easier to see, but the current version won’t let me complete log in. Previously, the app just wouldn’t open on the TV. On my iPad and phone, it works pretty consistently but is hard to see, and I can’t project it to my TV. The saving features also don’t really make sense.

   Terrible customer service you can’t get in touch with anyone. I purchased the yearly membership last year so I could do prenatal yoga classes. I didn’t even use this app much since there are not many prenatal videos and I ended up finding better classes for free in YouTube. I canceled my subscription from my App Store months ago and I even deleted this app. Yesterday I was charged $204 for another year when I did not receive any notice just the notification from my credit card. I’m trying to get in touch with someone and all they have is an email. ?????? Makes no sense, they make it impossible to get rid of this membership.

   Needs a major update. Yoga International was once a great resource, initiated by the Himalayan Institute to teach very sound and beneficial yoga asana, meditation, and pranayama courses online via some very good teachers. Sadly, YI was sold in late 2021 to another company who promptly removed some very good content and over time, new content from the very good teachers gave way to quite substandard content mostly by teachers brought over by the acquiring firm. Nothing against the new teachers personally, it’s just that the new content was quite insufficient vs. what had previously been offered under original ownership. In late 2023, we cancelled our membership, the end of quite a few good years of practice.

   Automatically takes money. They automatically will charge you card for over $200 and not inform you until AFTER it is done. They don’t reach out to let you know membership is expiring and ask if you want to keep. Then there is basically no way to contact them. There is a text/chat box but it is automated bot answer..then you wait for a team member to get back to you “as soon as they can”.

    First impressions. I haven’t used the app yet, but have a terrible first impression. I’m a 43-year old woman who wasn’t able to have kids and I have a lot of grief around that. Grief that I am trying to work through with yoga and meditation. I filled out the kind of things I was interested in, and prenatal classes weren’t even on the list. But the very first recommended class was for prenatal/postpartum. So pronatalistic of you, Yoga International. Just because I am a woman under 50 does NOT mean I want suggestions for prenatal yoga classes. I hope the developers consider this. I have asked how to remove recommendations (is t obvious, if it’s possible).

    Worst customer service. Trying to cancel a membership is the hardest thing to do and there’s pretty much no customer service except an online chat box that you’ll lose upon leaving the browser. It’s pretty ridiculous

    They will take your money but lock you out of the app!. Tried to access the app after a few month break. They still happily took my money but wouldn’t provide any support to reset my account. I didn’t want to cancel but I didn’t have a choice as customer service kept giving me guidance that didn’t work. It’s a shame because the instructors were great but the bad business and shady practices ruined it.

    HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!. Been trying to cancel for DAYS now! The instructions on the website tell me to click buttons that don’t exist but yet they keep trying to charge my debit card for a service I DON’T WANT!! And if I send a chat message I get a reply that says they reply in a day... but when they reply it’s telling me the same thing the website already said to do with buttons that aren’t there for me to click!!!! CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP AND STOP TRYING TO CHARGE MY CARD!!!!!!

    Good content, Bad app. This app is organized in a bizarre way and incredibly buggy and difficult to navigate. Unfortunate since the content is fairly good.

    The app and website crashes.. I paid for the annual subscription fee and deeply regret it as the application and website is the most frustrating thing I have to deal with on a daily basis. I avoid using this service solely because of how horrible the website is designed, which is sadly a waste of money. It’s also almost impossible to download any videos like it claims you can if you sign up for a year. Please fix this.

    Yoga with a bit of scam!!. I hate to write a bad review but 4 months ago I tried this site for 1 months , and since I don’t really use it as much I decide to cancel it in the same month. For some reason that cancellation didn’t go through , even tho it says Processing! I thought all good, until 4 months later I saw they have been charging my acc that I don’t use. So 4 month after I tried again to cancel and it says , PROCESSING . But never actually canceled. I didn’t get any confirmation and ect. I assume a lot of people get fooled here. I contacted the costumer service explaining the whole thing and they said they are like Netflix and can’t really refund! What a lame answer sorry but not sorry . but this is a difficult time , if you want to scam and take advantage of people please don’t use the name yoga!

    Do not take the free trial. They offer a free trial then make it impossible to cancel! Their help/support gives you instructions to cancel that are not possible to execute as the screen shots are fake and not what is really in the app.

    It is a trap!!! Not an ethical business! STAY AWAY!!. I’m trying to get into yoga. So I downloaded this app to check it out. I gave them all my goals and wishes (new to yoga/relaxation/meditation) and the system showed me weird options each time. I tried two of them. The videos are lame. Instructions are not clear for new beginners. There are many varieties of yoga and they talk that language for a new comer like me it’s difficult to follow. So I switched to youtube for easier search options and found a bunch of cool stuff. I tried to cancel the free trial membership on the application. There was no such thing. I reached out to their help and asked them to cancel it. They sent me a shortcut to their website which didn’t lead to any page with a cancelation option. So I texted them again and in the meantime they charged me for the next month. I reached out and asked for a refund explaining how I wasn’t able to use their app. They said ‘sorry no refunds’ and extended my membership for 2 months instead (still no cancelation mind you!). This can’t be legal. I’m going to complain about them to everywhere possible. STAY AWAY!!!

    Terrible customer service. I never used this, forgot about it and I cancelled my membership the day they charged my card and when I asked about a refund they refused. Says a lot about a company profiting off of people who forget to cancel their free trial rather than true subscribers.

    Total Scam!. I tried to cancel my membership a month ago (literally after I signed up for the trial and realized it wasn’t for me, a little to hippy dippy for my liking) but apparently the cancellation didn’t go through. I haven’t used the service AT ALL and only discovered that the cancellation didn’t go through when I saw the charge on my CC. I immediately contacted the company (via chat because they no longer have a customer service department) explaining the issue and asking for a refund. They’re reply was while I couldn’t get my money back, I’d be able to use a service THAT I DON’T WANT for the next month. Thanks but no thanks, total rip off!

    Be aware of cancellation process. I tried canceling my YI membership through the app in Spring, but Yoga International kept pulling payments via PayPal for two additional months. I needed to go into the PayPal app and cancel as well. Terrible procedures, and canceling via that app should cancel the payments.

    Worst Customer Service. I have never been so disappointed in a service. I was charged by this company for no reason, I never signed up. DREA accuses me of being abusive when I was not. I had just asked for a refund because I did not enroll in this service and was ignored. She was very rude offered no sympathy and did nothing to correct the situation or try to offer support. DREA just wanted to pretend it would go away by doing nothing and by not keeping me updated with the situation. She was not helpful, not caring, not considerate.

    The app is broken. I tried to use it but none of the buttons work. I can’t use filters, see my profile, courses nor mediations or favorites. I’ve tried on my iPad and my iPhone, but no luck. The website is great, but this app is useless unless you want to only do one from the featured page.

    Beware of charges! Do NOT UPGRADE. Did a trial to see courses and was autocharged for $15 for 6 months. Haven’t even opened the app in 5 months and didn’t realize I was being charged. Of course they wouldn’t refund - so feeling scammed. Big waste of money. Unless this is your gym and you use it regularly, this is not worth it. Youtube has great content. Beware

    Buyer beware. I bought a Bluetooth device and along with it came a membership to this website and two others . I never opened this website and used it but I did use the other one pandora for the three free month period . When I went to cancel this and the pandora I couldn’t get them canceled I finally had to put in dispute on My credit card to get rid of but by then this company said I owed them for 5 months . About $75 . Amazing I never used this at all not one class or what ever they call this app I don’t even know the name of this company , I would call it scam yoga. I never knew if I liked yoga but now I know I hate yoga what negative energy to charge someone for something they never used. I’m a senior on very limited income how desperate to make charges unfairly on the people that aren’t that good on internet. I called them but the phone message is you can’t reach anyone on this call don’t leave a message . On the positive side I would like to thank pandora they cut off the service with no charges . If I ever again buy anything on internet it will be pandora ! So buyer beware this company is apparently desperate for your money.
