The app turns running and riding into a game with virtual races, medals and rewards, and that motivation genuinely works, people stay for years to stack up miles. What breaks everything is reward fulfillment: paid medals and shirts arrive hugely late or never, and support is nearly unreachable, just email and a chatbot that goes unanswered. On top of that the app crashes and gets fussy about Apple Health sync, and miles often have to be entered by hand.
