The app shows you the code content before you follow a link, which is a genuine plus. But batch scanning was removed in updates, and the scanner now grabs the first code in frame without waiting for you to aim. The functional minimum works, but the app degrades with each update.

This takes the mystery out of what you are scanning. Does not blindly jump to a web page, but lets you review what the code actually says. The fact that they do not collect your personal data is the cherry on top.

It shows me what the code says before it does anything. That is what I was looking for. Unfortunately though, it grabs the first code it sees and it does not wait for the matrix to be fully on the screen.

I used this app to batch scan QR codes up until the last update. Now it has no batch feature and it opens every scan into a page you have to close to scan the next thing which is unhelpful.
