The League: Intelligent Dating

Scam. Reached out for support several times, they are intentionally blocking me from matches. Men reach out on other dating apps to let me know they can’t reach me on the league and despite flagging their support several times, my emails and DM’s get ignored. I was going to pay for an upgraded subscription but after a month of daily use, not one match, yet other apps have me spotlighted and men use LI and other platforms to contact me since the league is blocking me. They are rude, unhelpful, and the app seems like a scam. The upgraded tiers advertise features that aren’t even in use anymore, why advertise friend requests and group creation as a part of your subscription when you don’t even offer that feature anymore? Scam!

Horrible. Do not pay for this. You’ll see the same girls every day. You will not get any responses from support other than auto generated emails telling you that they care about your complaint and they will get back to you soon. Horrible, horrible horrible.

What a joke. I live in Seattle and 1/2 to 2/3 of my daily happy hour matches are people in Canada…4 hours away. Are there not any League users in Seattle or do I have to pay $15,000 a year to see them. Most of the people I see on here are also in Hjnge and a couple were on Tinder as well. The quality of people are no different on here than on the cheap apps. Save your money.

Piece of Junk. Sending batches from oriole 5 hours away and too old. Can't contact anyone to fix the numerous bugs. Really not a good service at all. Clueless developers.

Steals your money. Said I had 3 likes and needed to pay to see who they were. Paid $99 for a month and then it says I don’t have any likes but I can pay to boost my profile.

No Customer Support. Was left on waitlist for over a year. Reached out several times to check status/see if there was any erroneous or outstanding information. Never received response from support team. But my request to delete my account was processed within minutes. What a joke.

It’s a scam not a lot of matches in your area. I paid for a membership and it will match me with people in other states. Very rarely will I get matches closer to me. I’m sorry but I’m not going to invest in a relationship with someone 1,000 miles away.

Garbage app. Horrendous UI and fundamentally same as every other dating app, requesting you to pay several hundreds of dollars a year

Complete Joke. Worst dating app I’ve ever used. Prides itself in exclusivity yet the candidate pool could not be worse, they really just let anybody on here. The membership fee is not worth it either as the perks don’t do anything. 100% would not recommend.

Profile not approved. I have recently been on this app for weeks and created my profile and put in an application on this app and still haven’t been approved for weeks. It’s a 1 star for me. I don’t think I’ll be using this app anymore and join The League dating app again. This is a waste of time.

Not a single date. Do not waste money on this app! The positive reviews must be fake. I have been on this (and other apps) for two years and I didn’t have a single date or even a chat that lasted longer than two exchanges, which has not been my experience on any apps but this one. The inventory is also very disappointing. Not even close to the elite group they pass it off to be. And whatever you do, avoid their singles mixers. Low attendance and full of socially inept oddballs. My friend and I stayed for 15 mins. A total waste all around.

Not worth the cost. I've been on this app for almost 2 weeks and not impressed whatsoever. 1000 likes on Tinder but yet 2 likes on this app and it keeps giving me matches that are way younger than me. I have a hard time finding my messages. On some profiles, there's only a heart and no X. It only gives you five or six matches a day the rest you have to pay for more matches despite the fact that the app is already expensive. $100-mo. I'm already not renewing.

Not user friendly at all. Never made it past the application cause the app wouldn’t save my photos or some other error like if you’re gonna make it damn near impossible to even get on the site then don’t expect great ratings 🤷🏿‍♂️

Pathetic. This app is complete garbage. I recently received a note from an old dude who is twenty years older than me. Meanwhile, I can see that guys my age have liked me. I can’t see them unless I pay hundreds of dollars. It legitimately makes me sad.

The worst. The absolute worst dating site. “Intelligent Dating”? Quite the opposite. Ignores your preferences to insist on showing people outside your distance setting, age range, and every other filter/preference. The “concierge” is clearly an AI bot. I thought Tinder was the worst, but they at least respect your preferences. There’s a new worst and it is THE LEAGUE.

expensive and useless. free version is unusable, you can’t see who liked you unless you pay, cheapest option is $100 a month. Fine but then you only get 5 new people daily in your feed to view which some of them could be the same people in your likes so at this point you might only be seeing 1-2 new people a day. The price isn’t even the problem it’s the extreme limitation on how many profiles you see. You also can’t adjust age range which is ridiculous, I don’t want someone 15 yrs older than me on my feed. To pay this much and not be able to adjust preferences is insane and makes the app unusable since I never get relevant profiles.

New UI is like Hinge, hate it. So they recently updated the new user interface and what made the app unique and beneficial to use before, now has been watered down and made to look like hinge. I got off of Hinge for a reason and now it looks like it’s just another clone of Hinge but more expensive. At this point just go back to in real life dating.

low quantity, bad quality. Only 5 men a day and, with absolutely 0 exaggeration, the ugliest group of men I’ve ever seen on a dating app. So so ugly.

Scammy. Very expensive, only a few potential matches per day, and tons of fake scam female profiles.

Complete scam. Horrible. I’ve been on the waiting list for over a year. Absolutely ridiculous. A complete scam.

Expensive same old same old. This app is truly pay to play: you can’t access who likes you or see more than 3 profiles without paying ~$100/month for the cheapest membership. “Higher scale” memberships go up to $300+ a month all to see the same guys in your area as on scruff, Grindr and tinder. This is a racket and should be avoided at all costs. Match group sucks.

No Filtering even after Subscription. Not exactly a high quality app design, and you can’t filter future matches even after paying for a subscription. I didn’t want to connect with people who have kids and who live 500 miles away. So I paid for the basic tier subscription, and apparently that doesn’t allow you to filter out future matches. So I’m sifting through unlikely candidates, unless I choose to pay for the higher tier. Waste of time and money. Better off on Raya or Hinge.

Trash. All match group apps suck FR. They hide connections behind paywalls and promote fake profiles to make you think there are quality women, nope just bots catfishes or old inactive profiles. Not finding anyone good here, just another waste of time

Expensive scam.. Would give zero stars if I could. I live in a large city, a state capital, yet every day my batch contained over half men who lived 2+ hours away from me and men outside my set age range. They claim you get fewer options but better quality. The quality is not better and the being processed is a joke. The number of men who say they’s rather not share what they are looking for on the app in unacceptable. This app is a scam. Do not use it.

Worst app ever. I paid $399 for three months. I live in the Pacific Northwest and every day receive only profiles of men who live in Florida, NYC, Spain, Ottawa, the UK and other far, far away places. This app has not led to one date. The algorithm rates me as “super picky” because I reject men who don’t speak my language and live 3000 miles away from me, and then sends me even more useless profiles of people I could never possibly date. This is a total scam. I’ve complained to the “Concierge” I supposedly have a personal relationship with (it’s an automated bot who only sends automated messages), and of course nothing changes. The League used to be decent. It’s awful now. I feel robbed.

Guy used AI in profile pic 😒. Thought I met my math. Turns out he was a C a t f I s h -.- lameeee. AI Photos should be denied. I couldn’t tell cause it was him in a suit. But after he asked for my instagram.. I saw the difference ..

Worst Dating App in existence. They act like this is some kind of premium product. It is actually the worst dating app I have ever been on. The quality of the women is terrible. They should pay me for wasting my time.

So disappointed. This app does not deliver. Even with having a distance limit set, it sends potential matches from all over the country. If you want to search just your area, you have to pay. It is way overpriced for what you actually get.

Buggy and not well run. They claim to be exclusive and for a higher end clientele but their software is glitchy and none intuitive and they literally charge 99$ for one week. Scam if I’ve ever seen one.

Not worth it.. I don’t think there’s anything special about this app. It is insanely expensive. I was getting matches, but it’s just not worth the cost. Especially as an attractive female when you’ll get likes and matches on anything. Updated to say absolutely horrible customer service. Didn’t respond for days at a time. Didn’t answer my question. Didn’t provide the service I paid $200 for. Scam.

Scam. I hit the button to send a message. I didn’t recall her name so I hit the cancel button so I could scroll up and see her name. But hitting cancel is the same as rejecting her and if I want to have the ability to un- reject her, I have to pay $600-$1000. This app feels like a scam.

Waste of money and time. Don’t waste your time buying in, they just show you everything, no filters. You get limited views of potential matches, then they only show you garbage from out of state or even the country. Waste of time and money. Don’t buy in!! I’m in LA and haven’t seen more than 3 local people in a week of membership. Lame. Fail. The league sucked, if I had known cuffed was a new version of the league I’d have never joined. Please refund my money for your broken app that shouldn’t be on the App Store. Horrible dating app, they prob fed their league code into an AI filter and here we are. ‘AI make my dating app better.’ - reality it’s a broken detail-less scam to get your money.

App suddenly stopped working. I literally just opened the app to look at my very first message I had received, the app closed unexpectedly and now it says my account doesn’t exist. What on earth just happened? Are you having a prod outage?

Worse Performing Better Looking Hinge. It’s exactly what it sounds like. Aesthetic wise it looks better with no accessibility features and performs even worse. Never keeps my age range (the like one free feature) despite me setting it over and over again, and what do you mean we only get to see 5 people who liked us each day unless you pay for it? Thats the only free part of this app. Waste of time.

I bought unlimited. After years of using this app on and off….i can recall just 1 meaningful relationship that came Of it. Don’t pay for this app isn’t at all worth it to be honest. I’m Not sure if they have many active users. I have worse photos on this app than other dating apps and hasn’t led to any meaningful result. I even bought the unlimited thinking it’ll help…nope. I’m not expecting hundreds of matches but at least 1-2 meaningful matches every few days.

Scam. They claim it’s high value people on here, when it’s the same as any other dating app. I didn’t get one date using this app. I even purchased the subscription. I got two people who responded to me. I’ve had this app for about a year now. Save your money. Not bots no real human interact. I reported this app to the consumer reports. It’s fraudulent.

Great in Theory. In theory I’m sure this app is wonderful, however it takes far too long to load. If it loads the app is super glitch and ultimately not worth the hassle. I waited it out, and was even accepted, unfortunately the app still doesn’t work properly. Wish it did.

Buggy and awful. Age filter constantly resets, no customer service, this thing is a huge waste of time. Very buggy

Buggy garbage.. $400 a month to get verified to skip a completely unnecessary waiting list. But in the meantime the app is buggy, hot garbage. A little online research reveals this is basically a scam with the same expectancy for success as any other dating app.
