What people use it for
Perplexity users who want an AI assistant built into the browser rather than in a separate app.
What reviews praise
- Agent mode and the ability to choose multiple LLMs directly in the browser deliver real productivity gains.
- Users note that search happens visibly and answers feel more accurate than in the standalone Perplexity app.
What reviews complain about
- On iOS there are no bookmarks, the password manager does not work, and there is no clear way to switch between AI and web search mode.
- Three months of active use and it is still unclear why this specific browser over the alternatives.
