An editorial reading of the saved reviews
LUX is kept around as a friend to chat with, and part of the audience is genuinely turned on by the exchanges. But the product squeezes at every step: some messages are locked behind money, pictures are advertised as part of the package and then demanded per-image via gems. The shop is often empty (just gems), the character asks for a gift you can't buy anywhere, and censorship triggers on PG-13 topics.

What people use it for
For those who want a friend-companion on hand and will pay per-item for intimate texts and pictures.
What reviews praise
A friend to chat with on hand, you can create your own companion, explicit chat turns some people on, better than many alternatives per fans
What reviews complain about
Some messages locked behind money, pictures advertised then charged per-image via gems, shop often empty with just gems, character asks for a nonexistent gift, censorship even on mild topics, promised reimbursement not honored
