An editorial reading of the saved reviews

A single-purpose app: it reminds you of birthdays and manages that reasonably well until it updates. After certain updates notifications stop arriving, imported contacts disappear, and the postcard feature breaks. The core works, the periphery does not.

What people use it for

People who want to remember the birthdays of close ones and are willing to pay for it, provided notifications work reliably.

What reviews praise

  • Automatically pulls birthdays from contacts.
  • Countdown to the event is visible right away.
  • Customizable sounds and greeting templates make life easier for people who struggle to remember dates.

What reviews complain about

  • Notifications go silent after updates with no visible reason.
  • The app independently removes people from the list.
  • A limit of five contacts in the free tier makes the app useless for most users.
