Verses Bible Memory uses game mechanics (Type-Out, Speak Out, progress bars) to help memorize scripture. The repetition mechanics genuinely work multiple reviews describe going from 11 verses over a summer to 5 verses a day. But the product is clearly abandoned: last update was 5+ years ago, support takes months to respond, and purchase restoration after switching devices is broken. Speak Out glitches on long passages. Niche content (Bible, catechism) with no user-created material.

I am testing out a number of memorization apps, and while I like the interface of this app keeping track of my progress of each Bible book the Speak Out needs a lot of work. It is difficult to use on "longer" portions of scripture (more than 2 verses), because it resets and/or skips and marks incorr
