   Not restoring my purchases. I have had this app for years, paying Pro annually while not using it and now starting to use it after serious health treatment, the app will not restore my purchases and there is no way to contact support

   Great app - Poor Service. The app works great when it works. If you have any issues the company does not respond. I paid for the app and can’t restore my purchases or connect my iTunes subscription to my account so it tells me to pay for it again but I can’t because I already did and iTunes knows this though the app restore won’t work.

   This app WAS Great. This app was awesome and I used it almost everyday for quite some time….Until I changed phones. For some reason my subscription wouldn’t renew and I tried over and over again to purchase it. Reached out via email to the support team because there’s no other way to. Have not responded for a month and I just randomly got charged another $10. Very disappointed.

   No customer service. Enjoyed for a little while. Had the paid subscription, got a new phone and could never log back in. Reached out in multiple ways with zero response. Lost all saved progress with no access to verses I had memorized so I could put them in another digital app. Just started using the reminder app on my phone. It’s more work but at least I won’t be locked out from all the verses I am reviewing. Was a great resource, but asking people to pay for an app that offers no customer support is a little shady.

   Subscriptions. It sad to see another “Christian” company more worried about money than being a help. How many companies will leach of people with subscriptions…

   Scam. I bought the app subscription, tried to log in and it keeps giving me an error. Tried contacting them multiple times to help resolve the issue and no response from them.

   Saddened by lack of support. I purchased the $9.99 pro version and was charged for it but was never able to activate my purchase in the app—I gave up sending requests for help to the support email. No one ever responded. Buyer beware—I hope it works better for you than it has for me. If support exists, I would like to learn how to get it!

   No response at all!!!!!!. I’m extremely frustrated with the Verses app. I paid for a subscription, but after getting logged out and signing in with a different username, I lost access to my original account. I’ve contacted support multiple times and still haven’t received any response. Out of frustration, I created a new account, but it doesn’t give me access to the features I previously paid for. It’s incredibly disappointing to invest in this app and be completely ignored when trying to get help.

   Don’t be fooled it is not free. Don’t be fooled it is not free after they have you create an account. They will try to make you subscribe. Do not waste your time do not download.

    Pay Walls. You basically have to pay to use the app at all, unless you want to use KJV which most people don’t use. Disappointing that a Christian app is just for profit and not trying to help people

    Not Functional. The in app experience is great. It’s very clean and offers a lot of creative ways to memorize scripture. HOWEVER, the reason I’m giving this app a one start is due to its lack of functionality. I shoot to memorize scripture in the morning before I begin my work day, like many others, time is sensitive. The in app practice of memorizing your verses does not allow you to swipe or move between verses. You have to click back to your deck then click on the new one. Which creates a negligent use of time. There was no avenue for support on how to utilize the app better as well.

    Poor customer service. I had this app a couple years ago and loved it. Opted out to cut costs in some areas. Decided to sign up again and cannot believe how poor the service is. I paid for PRO to be able to select other Bible translations. However, ALL translations are locked except for KJV. I have attempted to reach out 3 times and have also tried to correct it within the app since I can’t get a response from support emails. Canceling again and won’t resign again. Sad. It really was my fav app.

    So far not a fan. The more I use this app the more I dislike it. When putting the verses in order “reorder” it is always a fight to put the verse in the position I am aiming for. And when using word bank punctuation is very important to this app. I am just happy to know which word to use. It makes no difference to me if I use the word you with a semicolon or a comma or no punctuation at all. “Type out” you only type the first letter of each word. So getting an answer wrong for using the correct word, but not the right punctuation is silly. I thought I was learning scripture, not taking a grammar class.

    Doesn’t work for me. This is an app I’d reallyyy enjoy to use. Although I’ve paid to unlock the verses recently and they did not unlock. I subscribed to the 4.99 and cancelled that and subscribed to the 9.99. Neither time did the transactions unlock. It would say to subscribe. Idk. Apple refunded the 9.99 which I’m thankful for but would rather be using the app.

    Unresponsive to requests for support. I have been paying for a pro Membership but I cannot access the pro content. I reached out and support responded that I did not have a pro account. I sent back data that showed my payment for pro. They have not responded even after several inquiries. I think this is a good app for memorizing scripture but support has failed miserably.

    Speak Out (Beta) fails. The Speak Out (Beta) function accuracy is so poor it could not correctly display what I said accurately enough to get through most verses. After many tries it got through two verses, but with no amount of tries could it get through three verses without it failing to recognize my words. I realize that this is a beta version, but in its current state it’s unusable. Also, when using the Speak Out function, the app constantly crashes. I only bought this app for the Speak Out capability, but in all other respects, the Bible Memory app is far superior.

    New window pops up every minute to interrupt progress. I have been using the app daily for over 6 months. It has been such a help and encouragement to my souls. I have been able to memorize a chapter a month. The newest update (December 2024) interrupts my review, study, and typing. I have not been able to turn off the notification. I will be canceling my membership.

    A great tool when it works!. I used to like this app when it worked. But now I’ve been charged three times for a plan that won’t apply to my account and the Support team will not respond to my messages. Really disappointed.

    Disappointed. I paid for a subscription and have not been able to use it. I have sent an email to the support email address almost one week ago and have not had a response back. I’ve used the app before and really liked it but really disappointed with the customer experience. All of the social media pages appear to be inactive too so can’t reach anyone

    Still crashy, buggy and power hungry. Update: 07/02/2021: continues to crash and behave erratically. My annual subscription renewal is coming up. Update: 26/12/2020: Still crashing when reviewing long chapters, scrambled Recents, high battery drain. I have no problem paying for quality apps, but leaving these issues undressed for a subscription app is unacceptable. Update 10/2020: the crashes continue when doing Type Out on long chapters Unfortunately despite having filed bug reports with the developer, the app continues to crash and exhibit very high battery drain when doing Type Out of long chapters, especially when doing several in succession within one app session. Also there is still no way to memorise passages across chapter boundaries, so you can't memorise and review entire books in one go.

    Misleading. The description tells you you can buy individual Bible translations. This is NOT true. This is a completely subscription based app. As no one is likely to want to memorise more than one translation this is completely pointless. This makes it unusable. Why on earth should anyone pay an annual subscription for one translation? Better to use a flash card app. Much cheaper in the long run.

    Disappointing. I upgraded to the pro version in response to an offer for a year free trial. However the app has now completely frozen. I can’t do anything with it. Have deleted and reinstalled several times but no change. Very disappointing!

    Doesn't work at all :(. Unfortunately, I have to agree with one of the users below. This app doesn't work and as far as I am aware, it hasn't worked for a long time. You cannot create a new collection of verses, nor can you add anything. The collection of verses I had before have all disappeared. I paid a lot of money for this app and it worked fine at one point. It such a shame that it is virtually unusable and I'll have to buy another app. Otherwise, it's a great concept that needs A LOT of work.

    Shameful!!😡 charging so much in iap. Can't believe this Christian app would try ripping you off by so much!! Couldn't even try it out as for some reason it wanted me to enter my email to sample the free KJV (£4.99 for the NIV)

    Disappointed. I am so disappointed with this app. It has so many great features but it will not load at all on my phone.. and I just bought a new phone so I know it’s not that!

    Hope for more. I love this app. I love memorizing scripture. But I don't like that you have to buy another translation. Instead it's easier to keep the standard translation a better translation. I still don't know how to add people to this app, to grow accountability, so if I could do that, I would recommend this to many people. It would awesome to see my friends progress, but without Facebook. // I really want to be able to share this, and start scripture accountability and challenges for my friends, and students. Best app I've seen, and would love to use it in the future, but I can at the moment. Thanks. Keep pursuing.

    Not working & not providing support. I have loved this app, but it just has so many bugs and they don't seem to care. I have emailed and messaged on twitter multiple times asking for help and get ZERO response (other than one twitter message asking me to give my email address so they could look into it - I gave it and then received no follow up whatsoever). They really need to fix both their app and their customer support.
