An editorial reading of the saved reviews

Blank Spaces Launcher gives a minimalist screen free of temptation and works for some users, but setup is complex, widgets lost their clean look in iOS with Liquid Glass, and blocking resets on its own periodically.

What people use it for

People who want to hide apps from sight rather than block them at the system level

What reviews praise

An empty home screen with only the icons you need physically removes triggers for autopilot app-opening.

What reviews complain about

Blocking disables itself periodically, and once reset it cannot be re-enabled without recreating the setup.

What users experience

From the moment I downloaded it, my screen time immediately plummeted. I started spending more time in the present moment, enjoying my family, and my life. That was a couple of months ago. I never spend money on apps (just on principle), but let me tell you, I bought a lifetime subscription as fast
This app is the only one that was actually effective enough to curb my phone addiction!! I am so incredibly happy with how much progress this app has allowed me to make, and I recommend it to anyone struggling with social media / phone addiction.
All it does is replace the Home Screen but you can still access all your apps with a simple search. Very buggy. Company says 100% guaranteed satisfaction upon purchase but doesn't respond to requests of refunds so I had to go through Apple to get one
This app is best because it lets you lock the app and do 1 of like 5 things. Either do a breathing excerise , passcode, do push-ups (camera has to be on ikr ? Haha) and even touch grass (you have to take a pic of grass lol) literally the app is perfect so if you need help getting off of tiktok lol T
I love this app, but one little gap keeps me from perfection. It seems that your steak only counts days that you trigger the blank app mechanism but if the goal is reduced usage, it's a downer to reset my count on a day that I've avoided those apps completely.
