I have used JapanesePod to help me prepare for my study abroad in Japan and this app helped me connect with my host family tremendously. The GreekPod helped me before a trip to Athens earlier this year as well.
I've used this product to help me learn Russian and am currently using it for Japanese. It's great for immersing yourself in the natural spoken language. If going to a country where the language is used natively, this is a great way to hear how things would be said.
