An editorial reading of the saved reviews
Stats.fm was an excellent tool for tracking listening history and comparing tastes with friends, but data accuracy now falls short: missed minutes, incorrect first-listen dates, and broken Apple Music integration. The Soulmates feature, valued by many for connecting with people through music taste, has been removed.

What people use it for
Fans who want to track and compare their music history
What reviews praise
Detailed lifetime listening history broken down by track, artist, and time period.
What reviews complain about
Statistics have become inaccurate: listens disappear, dates shift, and Apple Music sync periodically breaks.
What users experience
3 excerpts from the breakdown. These are individual cases, not a verdict on all users.
So much of the app has not only been paywalled but covered with ads. Double pop-ups with a timer before you can close them to see a single chart, then animated banner ads that slow and bloat the entire app!
App works great, love being able to see my top tracks and artists plus how much I have played a song
Got the lifetime premium for the soulmates function so I could meet people with similar tastes and make some new friends. Feature got removed and my payment was for nothing. Bring back soulmates
