This was the first budget app i ever downloaded. I continued to explore other apps with all the extra features like bank syncing, templates, receipt stores etc etc, and honestly I'm so appreciative that this app has stayed true to its simple manual entry roots. The manual entry is actually the point.
I track everything (it is an obsession I don't mind) and was using Quicken for years but Quicken needs to have you share all banking/investment & credit cards passwords and user names in order to use their services and see where your transactions are going.
Before this app my wife and I weren't budget people. Since downloading Spending Tracker almost three years ago, we've completely transformed the way we handle our money for the better.
